Luckys Hide at Waubay Lake

Located in Northeast South Dakota on beautiful Waubay Lake – South Dakota's premier recreational lake.

You'll have plenty of room with 1700 sq ft inside and over an acre of property outside. This walk-out ranch cabin has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and can sleep up to 10 with 3 queen beds, 4 twin beds.

Great for hunting and fishing trips. Other great fishing lakes nearby include: Pickerel – 5 miles, Enemy Swim – 6 miles, Lynn Lake – 12 miles.

*RVs/Tents not allowed
*Pets allowed in garage only. Absolutely no pets inside the home. Pets must be kenneled when owner is not present.
*No smoking/vaping inside the home. Garage included.
*Renters must be 25 or older or accompanied by a parent/guardian.

Great Place to Stay!!

Second time staying here and it is great for a large group. Plenty of rooms to sleep and the gathering area is awesome. Highly recommend!

Inside of the house was very clean..garage hangout was clean but could of used a little more cleaning.. great house and location..garage area great space to hang out after a day of upland hunting.

Beautiful location!

We absolutely loved this place! It is in the perfect area for great fishing lakes, the garage was nice and spacious and had the perfect table for playing games with a big group! We loved that they provided a corn hole game and they had the perfect are in the backyard to play! The place was very clean and they had all the amenities you needed. My family and I will definitely be coming back to this place again soon! Thank you for having us!

Amazing place!

Place was awesome loved the heated garage so you could bring your gear in overnight and let it thaw. Spent most our time in the garage. The house side was comfy clean & modern with everything you already need inside the house! Would definitely stay here again! Just wish you could check in a bit earlier.

The host was fine. There was a smell in the garage we could not identify for starters. It was close to the front door.They could provide soaps and items for shower. Also not even coffee was provided, there was a coffee maker but no coffee. And you have to make sure you clean all the dishes and put them away versus just starting the dishwasher.

OK, not great

There was something dead in the laundry room; we never opened that door again. The grill is absolutely NASTY, inside had fallen apart a long time ago and the grease/whatever is all sitting on the inside bottom everywhere; it's gross. The fire pit had some dog hair/poop red slime material growing in it, no one wanted to go near it, super gross. besides that it was ok, not really worth the money we spent, but ok.

Rented in the past and is a great place for men's weekend away. Rooms were taken clean upon arrival, and everything was put away. The overall set up with ice maker is always advantageous and garage is great place for the whole group to hang out.

Luckys Hide Labor Day 2022

Had a great time at Luckys Hide. Perfect place for a decent sized group. It’s a great set up in the “man cave” and the location is great as it’s close to plenty of lakes in the area. Overall, had a great time!

The location was good. The location was roomy. The beds were stiff or hard the pillows were hard. The living room furniture is dated and well used not clean. The cooking area on the side of the house was very greasy. There’s a big grease stain in the garage. You had to travel gravel roads to get to that location so if you’re hauling a boat your boat gets dirty very fast. This would be a great place for a hunting party. Not much to do in the area other than hunt or fish. But that has nothing to do with the homeowner that’s just the location. It was good for what we used it for I just wished it would’ve been on a paved road several miles of gravel got my boat very dirty. Certainly not the homeowners problem. Everything at the home was clean, but we’ll used. Check in at 3 o’clock is a little late and check out at 10 o’clock is a little early doesn’t seem fair for the money.
