The house was great. It was well equipped with towels (beach and bath), kitchen items, and a welcome bin (snacks and toiletries). We made use of the pool, hot tub, and hung out on the dock in the morning. John was a very gracious host. He's responsive and made sure that we felt at home. Would definitely recommend!

My Family and I had a wonderful Stay. The place was clean, the host were Great. We caught a bunch of crabs off the Dock, the kids enjoyed the pool and Kayaks. We plan on booking the house in the Future.

We enjoyed our time at the house. The pool, the view, the dock, the kayak the bikes everything was as advertised. I brought a group of teenage girls and they had a great time. The location has the added bonus of feeling like you’re in the middle of nowhere on the dock of the bay, yet Target and fast food were literally five minutes away. Loved it!

We really enjoyed our stay at this spot while visiting our son for Plebe Parents Weekend at USNA. Had plenty of space to relax and unwind and communication was great throughout. One thing that wasn't as clear until arrival was that this is a guest house above garage next to main house where owner resides - therefore the pool/hot tub/outdoor space isn't private but shared. Wasn't a big deal to us but could to know beforehand. Really enjoyed the peaceful setting and was great to have the pool to cool off in with hot August humidity.

This property was absolutely perfect for our reunion weekend! The pool and hot tub were incredible. The property is clean and spacious. We chartered a boat day and the boat was able to come pick us up and drop us off at the dock right on the property. Kent Island had everything we needed for a long weekend. Grocery and liquor store just a mile or 2 down the road, & plenty of restaurant options nearby. The kitchen was full stocked so we could grill out one night. John was an incredibly kind and accommodating host with great communication! Would absolutely rent from him again in the future!

We loved this spot to spend time with our Midshipman! Kent Island is wonderful. The home is spotless, comfortably furnished, and had everything we could want. We enjoyed walking the property and want to go back when the weather is warmer.

Beautiful place! Had everything there for a great vacation!

The place was very clean , had all the things in the home to make your stay wonderful!!!! Kitchen stocked with cooking equipment, towels for the pool, and the was owner was a great host.

We had a wonderful stay at John’s place - it was absolutely beautiful and the property was wonderful. John was very responsive and the listing was exactly as pictured!

Beautiful and private property. Close to grocery stores and restaurants. Lots of things to do. The hosts were very welcoming and made us feel at home.

Absolutely fabulous place to stay! We stayed for a full week before our daughter was graduating from the Naval Academy. We were a mixed household of kids and adults and everyone had plenty of room to spread out. Kids enjoyed kayaking, fishing, bike riding, and of course swimming. The guest house was well furnished with everything we needed. Owner is very kind and welcoming. There are only steps to get into the property. This was no issue for us, but if you are traveling with anyone with mobility limits, it probably wouldn't work well. The property overall was simply beautiful and we truly enjoyed our stay!

Absolutely amazing property with superb host! The place is packed with "little" details that anyone would need! Such a clean place and peaceful property! Highly recommend!Also, this place is nestled in a country-like setting but so conveniently close to nearby eats and Target! Cannot say enough about the communication with the host and overall stay!
