Arrived to find the cabin lovely & clean. Really comfortable with all mod cons & more. The location is beautiful & the views from the decking are stunning, even when it’s raining. Great communication from the host, gave us lots of suggestions of things to do during our stay. Overall a great place for a holiday. I would say it’s the best cabin we’ve stayed in.

This was a fantastic cabin to stay in for the week, it was very clean and well equipped with a fantastic view out over the Loch. Very good communication from the owner prior to arriving. Only thing I could recommend is to have non stick pots and pans for cooking but that is a minor issue

The cabin was very well appointed with everything we needed for our stay and more, not just a complete kitchen setup but a shelf of books and games for rainy evenings and plenty of local tips and secrets to help us enjoy our stay even more. The cabin was cosy and private, and in gorgeous surroundings. Communication with Bob was straightforward and friendly - he checked in a few times leading up to the visit and once we had arrived and was a delight to correspond with! We can't wait to come back and are already planning a repeat visit :)

Wonderful place to stay

A rather grand 'log cabin' with all home comforts. Great place to stay in this area. Superb views. And walking distance to shops, pub and other attractions.

Beautiful Cabin Stay in Strontian

We stayed here for our honeymoon and had a great time amongst the stunning views of the Scottish Highlands. Bob was super helpful and gave us great suggestions of activities in the local areas and places to eat/drink. Would definitely stay again.

This was a wonderful stay at a wonderful place. The cabin was the perfect base and met every need we had. Also great communication and support from the owner - definitely recommended!

Perfect Strontian stay

We had a great week with unexpectedly good weather for October. The cabin was very clean and comfortable and was perfect for all the areas we wanted to explore. The view from the cabin was superb, during the day and for star watching at night.

Great cabin and great experience

We had a wonderful time in Scotland, and especially in that lovely house. We felt very comfortable, everything was perfect, and it was a real pleasure to stay here.The house was very clean, spacious und in perfect condition. The conversation with Bob was outstanding.

It was a dream!

Bob's holiday home was a dream! One of the highlights of our vacation. Wonderfully furnished, it is something special that we truly appreciated. The location and the peace and quiet were exactly what we were looking for.

Our stay in Ronaldsay

We had a wonderful stay in this log cabin. The location is beautiful. We enjoyed the view of the sea. The house is very spacious and everything worked perfectly. The host was very friendly and answered all our questions to our satisfaction. Thank you very much Bob, that we could spend our holiday in your log cabin.

Absolutely Stunning

The perfect getaway to relax and unwind after Christmas. Lots to do and see from relaxing walks to the more adventurous. We will definitely be back. Recommend to all.

Comfortable log cabin with Loch view

Whilst I was unlucky with the weather on this occasion , the cabin was very comfortable with everything one could wish and only a short distance from facilities in Strontian .

Brilliant Cabin, peaceful surroundings

We had the pleasure of returning to Bobs cabin after a few years away, and what a delight it was to be back. Everything has been considered and Bob is an excellent communicator
