This unique guest house is located on a 90 acre secluded estate overlooking Wildwood Golf course. It is the perfect location for a relaxing get away, located minutes from the coast, boat ramps, state & national forests, bike trail, golf and wildlife refuge. Come enjoy boating, fishing, kayaking, birdwatching, hiking and enjoy the abundance of wildlife this area has to offer. Visit our state capital, St Marks Lighthouse, Gulf Speciman Marine Lab, Wakulla Springs, and try the local seafood.

My new home in crawfordville!

With so pleasantly surprised by how clean how conveniently located was to all the attractions that me my life my twins needed for Thanksgiving weekend will definitely staying back at the white squirrel cottage every time we come to down.

Great getaway

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the white squirrel cottage. David went out of his way to let my kids see the chickens and guinea hens on the property. The house is so cute and cozy. I loved waking up and relaxing on the back porch. If you're looking for a nice place that's only a 30 minute commute to Tallahassee, this is a great option!

Great location!

Enjoyed this stay with our gracious hosts. The area was perfect for us, with plenty of hiking trails, sightseeing, a ND easy access to Tallahassee.

Family Weekend

We were down for FSU family weekend so we didn't really spend much time at the property, just to sleep. But it was very comfortable and clean and other than not being sure where we were in the pitch dark(that's on us), it was a great stay.

Well located, comfortable cottage

The cottage was clean, comfortable and well-equipped. It was easy to get to and ideally located for access to St Mark's National Wildlife Refuge, Wakulla Springs, a nearby golf course and other sites. Set in lovely grounds with the sights and sounds of wildlife, it was the perfect retreat for a peaceful and enjoyable stay.

It is close to hiking and bicycle trails. It is close to many wildlife viewing areas. Good fishing .

Memorable Stay on Forgotten Coast

We stayed at White Squirrel Cottage during a weekend trip to Wakulla Springs. David is an A+ host. The property was clean, quiet, and well stocked. We even saw the white squirrels. Highly recommend this property if you want a quiet getaway!

Great refresher

One of the few where as soon as you see it you understand it's going to be better than what you thought from the pictures. Very relaxing surroundings and 100% peace and quiet. Inside was well equipped and everything worked great. Best value we've had in a stay in a long long time and will def be back!

The house was very clean and spacious.

The house is attached to the owners garage and house. We did not have very good water pressure with the shower. Other than that we had a very peaceful stay at the cottage:

Wonderful Experience

We very much enjoyed our stay. Very peaceful but short drive to amazing beaches and hikes. The cottage was private and just lovely. David and Christy were always a text away if we needed anything at all. We even got to see the white squirrels!

Very quiet, Good restaurant/grocery prices, Traffic content with speed limit

Prefect for what we wanted. Accurate pictures of property. Tallahassee just easy driving 25 miles away if want bigger city life. Restaurants /grocery prices were low-no need to bring extra food or drinks. Lots of flat bike and walking trails . Not so many snow birds, did not feel crowded. PEACEFULL.
