Nestled within a tranquil lake community in the Hoosier National Forest, Cabin 2 offers a cozy retreat for nature lovers. This 576 square foot haven features a queen-sized bed, a convertible sofa bed in the living area, a well-equipped kitchen, and a full bathroom with a shower. The cabin's living space is complemented by ample windows that frame the surrounding natural beauty. Enjoy the serenity on the 160-square-foot screened porch, complete with a large fan for those still summer days. Although close to Patoka Lake, the cabin's summer views are forest-rich.

• Pets are welcome but cannot be left alone in the cabin.
• Quiet hours start at 10 PM; no noise is permitted after this time.
• Fires are only allowed in fire pits and must be extinguished with water.
• Guests are responsible for bringing their own charcoal for the barbecue grill.
• Television reception varies; some days may offer many channels, while others may offer few.
• There is no Wi-Fi available, and cell service can be intermittent.
• NO Smoking inside the cabins.

We definetly loved being close to the lake and having a very nice and quiet place to ourselves, the cabin had everything you could need. Awsome time, will DEFINETLY return.

Wonderful Place with a very friendly and helpful host

Location is great, and host is even better. We could not say enough nice things about Tim. He was very kind and helpful even when we had an incident at the lake that caused us to lose the key, he was very understanding and able to come let us in when we got back. If you are considering this place, we would highly recommend it. Don't pass it up.

Nice little cabin. Had a great weekend stay. Tim was a gracious host, very accommodating. good conversations. The drive to French Lick for our festival was easy to navigate. Thanks and we hope to stay again.

Great Country Lake House

My family had a great time at this cabin. It's just a short walk to Patoka Lake and close to numerous boat ramps. We loved how secluded it was, but not far from a store to get supplies you may need. Tim was a great host and very welcoming! We will be back again!!

Great little spot

By far the cleanest cabin I've ever rented. Plenty of towels and pillows. Tim and Lois were very friendly, and even kind enough to run TP down to us when we ran out at 8:30pm! Love the back porch. There really isn't cell service (at least for T-Mobile) at the cabin, so prepare yourselves! The walk to lake isn't bad, but there are tons of tiny ticks, so bring heavy duty spray. Luckily Tim lent me his! Thanks for the awesome stay!

Remote location

The main criticism I have was the full size bed. My husband and I are accustomed to a king bed and were not comfortable in the full size bed. I did not realize we would have a full size bed.

Tim was a fantastic host and the pictures do not do this cabin enough justice - it is an awesome little cabin. We could've stayed much longer than 2 days and definitely hope to be back soon!

Enjoyable

Very cute little cabin perfect for two. Tim was a great host and I have absolutely nothing bad to say about our stay. The only thing I would say is that yes it is close to the lake but it is surrounded by woods you can't really go to the lake from the cabin. It is a great place to unplug because there is no signal or WiFi there. There are deer and rabbits everywhere so it is very serene. We enjoyed our weekend very much!

My husband and I stayed with our dog cooper. The cabin was cute and well furnished. The bed was comfortable and kitchen/bath also well furnished. We went hiking at area trails and they were lovely. We would stay here again.

We stayed here for a long weekend. Everything was great. Impeccably clean. Great location and quiet neighborhood. Tim is the perfect host who makes sure you have everything you need. We will be back. And if you are bringing a boat very close to a launch.

Best Friend Weekend Get-Away

Tim and Lois are wonderful, attentive hosts. The property is lovely, clean, and well maintained. Located in a quiet area on the lake, it's still nota long drive to everything you could want to do or see. This is our second stay at a Serenity cabin, and wontbe our last!

Perfect family getaway

Our stay was just what we needed for peace and quiet. The host, Tim, was so friendly and helpful. The cabin was clean and stocked with basic needs for cooking and showering. There were some family games provided for use. No internet helped everyone to connect and enjoy eachothers company. The television picked up a few channels, however, there is a dvd player. Getting down to the lake path was tricky but driving to the lake to fish or swim isn't too far. One recommendation for visitors is bring a radio if you want music and dvd's to watch movies if you prefer. Overall, it was a nice, peaceful stay.

The country setting close to the lake was to much to resist. the Peace and quite and the enjoyment of the nature and wildlife. she named this place serenity before the two cabins came on the market. now we host and enjoy our guest here in our cabins.
