Hockinson Carriage House - You Won't Want to Leave
During Covid-19 we enhanced our cleaning and sanitation procedures. We clean with Clorox and wipe frequently touched surfaces with extra attention. While cleaning we wear Nutrile Gloves and wear masks as an additional precautionary measure. We have updated our check-in process and our guest information packet to make it easy and to incorporate social distancing to make you feel safe and comfortable. Recently we added YouTubeTV with Netflix and Prime Video for your enjoyment. 42" Roku Smart TV.
We now include a BBQ as an additional cooking option. Kayaks are down by the pond and ready for use should you choose - fishing is generally good - catch and release only please.
Your stay can be as peaceful and relaxing as you desire. The property invites exploration at your leisure - with walking paths to make it easy and safe. The carriage house is private and comfortable with separate entrance and parking. On a private, paved road the property sits on 5 mostly wooded acres, with a creek, blueberry field, small fruit orchard, fenced raspberry patch, 8 chickens and a two acre pond. You are only a mile from the little town of Hockinson with a store, gas station and a tap room. You are 6 miles from the town of Battleground which offers all services and a neat downtown for shopping, antiquing, winery and multiple restaurant options We are 30 minutes from the Portland Airport and 30 minutes to downtown Portland. Stay a night or use as a base to explore/visit Portland, Multnomah Falls, Columbia River Gorge, Vancouver, Mount St Helens and more...

Overall my boyfriend and I were very happy with our stay. The property is BEAUTIFUL! The room was exactly as pictured, and was great for our purpose -as a weekend base to explore the area around you.

Charming Place to Stay
The Hockinson Carriage House is a Charming and Comfortable place to stay. This property is secluded, quiet, and well suited for a couple. I will not hesitate to return to this location.

Peaceful & Serene - Great Experience.
Tranquil property and wonderful place to stay. All was as described, clean, and well appointed. Enjoyed watching the chickens & gathering a fresh egg or two in the morning for breakfast. Relaxing by the pond was wonderful. We hope to return in the future.

This place was amazing! We walked in and said “Well, we chose correctly on this one!” Beautiful upstairs accommodations overlooking a serene hobby farm. The owners are fantastic and have thought of everything. This little slice of heaven was hard to leave.

A beautiful location and room
This property is in a beautiful country setting and the room is comfortable, well furnished and clean. The wifi is excellent...and needed, due to no cell service by our provider. The grounds are so pretty and nicely maintained. We would definitely stay here again if back in the area.

Wonderful Getaway
What a wonderful place for a getaway. We were in Washington for our grandson's high school graduation. Hockinson Carriage House is a warm, inviting place to stay. It was very clean and well taken care of. We had everything we needed and were very pleased with our stay.

Sister’s weekend
The property was great! Very quiet. My sister and I had a wonderful visit, and hopefully we can make this a yearly get together.

Tucked Away But Perfect
Besutiful place close to a wedding we were attending. Great communication and beautiful surroundings. Would stay again when i am visiting the atra. Well provisiobed

Great experience
The living space is cozy and the property is beautiful. Enjoyed exploring the area. Perfect for a break from the city or a romantic getaway. Owners were communicative and available. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely come back :)

Woodsy Wonderland
Such a nice, relaxing, location and venue. Places to walk, a small pond to kayak. Posts are so nice and accommodating. Recommend highly.

Quiet peaceful setting
Just as pictured. Perfect for two. Enjoyed exploring the area and thrifting.

Getaway reprieve
This was a great place to relax, and disconnect from a busy life for a few days. It was clean, quiet and relaxing. Loved it.

We enjoyed our stay as it was warm and comforting. Easy to relax and let the outside world go. The setting is surrounded by pines, lovely garden, and a tranquil lake. Rowyn is a helpful and wonderfulI hostess. I am planning to use this property for all future visits to family.

Perfect Getaway
Beautiful, quiet, private country setting. The hosts were very gracious and quickly responded to questions about the property. The loft was very clean, cozy and offered all the amenities as described. Getting pizza from Hockinson Market is a must! We would definitely recommend the carriage house to friends and family.

Slice of paradise!
Everything about our stay was absolutely wonderful! The accommodations were comfortable, clean and well suited for our needs. The surrounding area stole my heart! I loved everything about this location and I can’t wait to go back. The owners were super kind and attentive without being overly present. I’m grateful for how they operate their rental.
