Secluded Stone House 50' deck overlooking Beaver Lake on Ozark Mushroom Farm!

A unique stone house with so many nearby free amenities on a farm. A true nature sanctuary! Away from it all !! Amazing wildlife to watch and hear from a 50' deck overlooking stunning lake views. All rooms in the house have doors that access out to the deck. The deck is covered and has a porch swing and a table and chairs..

The main living area is an open room with a full kitchen, dining/living room with a new woodstove. One free tub of woodstove wood will be made available to guests. You can purchase extra wood or bring your own supply. Bring your own campfire wood or you can forage your own!!

There are 2 bedrooms: 1 master bedroom with a queen bed and the other bedroom with 2 twin beds. There are 2 sofa beds in the living room with a new woodstove. 2 full new bath rooms and a laundry room. There is a basement in the house

Outside there is a back garden and a Picnic table, BBQ bring your own charcoal, BBQ tools are provided. There is a stone circle campfire on a nearby gravel bar with splendid views of the lake. A short walk or drive away is your own gravel bar and a swimming hole in crystal clear

Sinking creek. At the 9 acre Beaver lake you can relax by the water ...bring your own canoe or kayak and enjoy catch and release fishing. Explore our 400 acre family farm, hike to an old homestead, admire the farm cattle, wetlands, Beaver dams and a bamboo forest. There is also access to 65,000 acres of Pioneer Forest Back Country behind the guesthouse too!

The local area boasts one of the best creeks to canoe on at the Current River. Pulltite and Akers Ferry are the best nearby places to access the river. There are several nearby State parks with hiking trails. Current River State park and Echo Bluff State Park also has a restaurant. Eminence is the nearest town enjoy the 25 minute Scenic drive to this unspoiled town located on the Jacks Fork River.

Very nice updated apartment. Great appliances. Really well done tile and hardwood floors. Nice open layout and 3 spacious bedrooms. Would of gave 5 stars but no daytime parking on the weekend we were there. Would rent again.

Canoeing trip

We booked this because of its location for a canoeing trip we wanted to take. It was a nice secluded area that was very comfortable. We will be looking at this house in the future!

The house was awesome. The frogs coming out of the woods to join their friends in the lake. At night,the lake comes to life,the bats,frogs, ducks,start to move. A day at the creek, relaxing, enjoying the sun and water. It was spacious and comfortable. Accommodating. The host are helpful and thorough. Great place! We will be back! Close to Salem or Eminence (with 30 min).

Tranquility on the farm

We enjoyed our experience at the mushroom farm. We floated the river, walked the peaceful farm and disconnected from 2025 life in the city. It was wonderful. Thank you!

Great secluded destination!

If you enjoy privacy this is a great stay! We got just what we expected at this home. We were away from the city lights and got to enjoy the beauty of nature! The gravel bar is absolutely amazing, our children really enjoyed playing in the creek. The hosts were very kind, making sure we made it and got settled in.

Property is private and beautiful and updated bathrooms are nice. Updated furniture would be good, old, week n dirty. Listing is decieving. Can't see the lake from the deck because of over grown trees. Lake is so full of growth hard to paddle around. NO operating Mushroom farm, just abandoned buildings and logs. You are expected to take your trash home with you. Definitly dont stay here if you have an extreme fear of snakes.

Beautiful location!!!! Very remote and a great place to Un-Plug! So cute and inviting, rustic and cabin vibes. Huge kitchen and Two bathrooms, which was important for my family. Don’t skip on the smallest bathroom because it has a Big Shower and it is a great little bathroom. We felt at home and we had everything we needed. Only about a 25-39 minute drive from Carr’s Canoe Rental and we saw a lot of wildlife, including a Bald Eagle sitting by the lake. Definitely make sure you have a vehicle that has 4-wheel or all wheel drive though.

Natural world abounds

We had a lovely stay, soaking in the land and habitat that has been lovingly tended. There is a great diversity of flora and fauna, which the house sits comfortably among. It's a little ways off the highway and our cell phones didn't have services. It was perfect. Thanks!

The hosts were very accommodating and the communication about how to arrive to the property was excellent, especially considering the remoteness. We had no trouble finding the way, despite how many times we questioned whether we were still in the correct path or not. Cell reception indeed cuts out the nearer you reach your

Beaver Lake House stay

Very nice. Nice hosts. Very secluded beautiful area. Only negative is directions were a little hard to follow for some of us city folks and some of our party got lost. Maybe a marker on some of those roads would benefit. Also some of roads down there were very rough not for small low riding vehicles. Suv or truck is best to take. Other than that really enjoyed the stay. Was very relaxing.Thank you to the hosts

Off the grid

Dan, our host once we got the right lines of communication, was there for us all the way. We saw only a farm hand the whole time. We had torrential rains while there which concerned us due to the road conditions coming in. The next day we made our time for the canoe trip and learned our way around quickly. Ultimate immersion in your surroundings. We would consider returning. Glad I had a Jeep Wrangler. If you enjoy four wheeling you’ll love the road in.

Hidden Treasure!

This was the respite we didn't know we needed until we arrived! If you're looking to be truly free from distractions, this is your place(no wifi or cell)! Natural beauty surrounds you on all sides! Our family came thinking we would spend our time exploring nearby parks and historic sites, however, we found it was hard to pull away from the majestic woods and peaceful waters that flanked this property. Instead, we spent our first day kayaking and fishing Beaver Lake and Sinking Creek, as well as, an informative tour of the mushroom farm. The water-access-only cave and surrounding area is breathtaking! The owners were available and more than willing to give us a tour of their farm and its workings. We are so grateful for this beautiful place and highly recommend it to anyone looking to unplug and refocus on God's glorious creation!

A quick float trip

Rustic, Remote, beautiful scenery! There is great history associated with the property and the owners were friendly and available. If you are an A-type personality, sensitive to odor, insects, cob webs, rodent droppings and cleanliness—-this cabin may not be for you. Then there was “Sid” the house black snake who resides in the basement! The pull out couch was terrible, but the actual beds were comfy. The cabin was really better suited for four people vs six. Part of the roads to the property are minimum maintenance and trucks, SUVs are more suitable than small cars. No Wi-Fi as stated, and the land line is a party line. Overall, we had a good time and made the best of a less than ideal lodging situation for our particular group!

Isolation at its finest beautiful location

If your looking for a property way out there...this is your place. Beautiful setting surrounded by nature and all its beauty and creatures. If your not into rustic this is not for you. The location on Beaver Lake made for beautiful sunsets at night and the fog on the lake in the morning were beautiful. Place is stocked with plenty of items you may need during your stay. Our only complaint would have been the amount of cobwebs all over the interior of the home. Minor though and not that big of deal for us. But it may be an issue for people that are a little more picky about cleanliness. Beds were fine. Nothing to write home about but adequate for they stay. Getting to the place is one of the most exciting parts. Its a ways back off the main road. Its location though is great for Current River activities. We would def stay again.

We had a great visit ! The private river swimming hole was our favorite part ! Go up stream to find it ! So peaceful and relaxing. The property was relaxing. Only reason it got one 4 was because the front of the property is grown up some and its hard to see the pond from the patio. Some large manicured trees block the view. Unlike in the picture !

Dan was fabulous. We actually went to the wrong rental home and he handled what could have been an embarrassing and frustrating experience with grace and kindness. The home was lovely, the lake was beautiful. Everything was perfect.

Great location

Nice house. Lake is 3 feet from house. Fantastic Old barn on property and other old dwellings. No cell or wifi. But isn't that the reason you come this way. Would love to stay there again.

A perfect cabin weekend

We enjoyed being in nature, checking out the creeks, lake, bird watching, and star gazing. We hiked around the property and found the cabin to be perfectly comfortable. We are already planning for another visit!
