Located in a quiet neighborhood, this home on Highland Lake is perfect for families or a friendly gathering, boasting 3 BD-2 BA, with gorgeous lake views, and direct lake access with a common sandy walk out beach area. Enjoy the provided canoe and kayaks, and spend an evening grilling on the deck, or roasting marshmallows in the common fire pit!

Less than one mile to downtown Bridgton. Easy access to hiking and snowmobile trails, as well as skiing at Shawnee Peak (less than a 10 min drive).

September Escape

We had a wonderful visit. This was my second stay at this house and will probably stay again. We enjoyed the proximity to the town of Bridgton and all that town has to offer. The house is well equipped, clean and comfortable and has a nice view of the Lake from the deck.

10 Crosby Lane Lake House Review

This property was just as listed. It was perfect for our family vacation. The lake and common beach area were perfect for floating and using our paddle boards. The sandy area was perfect for the small grandchildren. The owner was responsive to my emails about questions I had. We can't wait to return!

Beautiful home in perfect location.

Not only is the house perfect for a week by the lake, the owners and management went well beyond expectations. There were seven of us and we all had plenty of room; played with all the fun tubes, floats, and lake toys; and appreciated the wonderful, clean kitchen. I'm 69 and couldn't figure out the TV but the owner was kind enough to walk me through it. My husband left his credit card and money clip and they quickly found it and spent a long time figuring out how to get it back to us. I never had such a helpful experience before. Will definitely be back for another week on beautiful Highland Lake.

Loved our stay

The property was even better than the pictures. Comfortable, reasonably spacious with excellent bedroom sizes and furnishings. Very nice lake view from the deck and a very short walk to the shore. We enjoyed swimming, kayaking and fishing during several amazingly nice days. Highly recommend as a great place for lakeside relaxing. Bridgton is small but has some nice restaurants.

Great for Families with Kids!

We stayed here for an early June vacation. The shared beach/fire pit area was clean and enjoyable with beautiful lake views. I can imagine it's much busier in peak summer. It was perfect for us in early June with just a few neighbors coming/going. We have a toddler, so the laundry, dishwasher, and access to kayaks/canoe was great!

Great location

Beautiful home in a great location. The host provides a welcome book that will help make your vacation enjoyable. Although it rained for most of our stay we were able to enjoy the town of Bridgton. Between antiquing, shopping at Reny’s and the restaurants we had a great time. For groceries, please consider Food City on Main Street as it’s employee owned.

10/10 - Has everything you need.

This is a nice house in a great location. We were up for the 2024 eclipse, with our two dogs. The house had everything we needed, space to walk our dogs, and a nice deck to enjoy the lake view. If we come back during the summer, we will do some fishing on the lake using the provided kayaks. This place has everything we needed for cooking. The town is a walk away or a minute or two by car, pleasant to visit and has a nice grocery store as well if you need any food. A great place - we will rent again if we come back to this part of Maine.

Comfortable house near Bridgton

Very nice home, everything we needed, definitely recommend. Walkable to Bridgton, which has a lot to offer even in the off season. As noted in the listing, the house has shared lake access, is not waterfront. There were about three houses between us and the lake, with nearby neighbors and a motel. I would I imagine it’s pretty busy in the summer, but was quiet during our late October visit.

Wonderful stay!

We all really enjoyed our time at this house. The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed to have a stress free stay. The location is convenient to everything the Lakes Region has to offer and the checkout process was simple and hassle free. I will definitely be returning when I’m in the area visiting family again. Thanks again for having us!

Enjoyed our stay

The house was perfect for our quick weekend birthday celebration. We enjoyed the house and the space. Was very happy our dogs could join us. Didn’t get to enjoy the lake because it wasn’t quite warm enough. But will come again.

Way better than the photos

This place 100% redeemed Maine for our family. Photos don’t do justice for the three large bedrooms, super efficient and stocked kitchen, and comfy living areas. Loved that it is a shoe-free home. Bathrooms very clean and even the shampoo/conditioner was nice (which was great since I forgot ours). I would definitely stay here again!

Very clean and comfortable

Location was convenient for us and I'd say great for summer, so close to the lake. Check in and out was very easy. The house itself is laid out great and clean with plenty of beds. I would recommend this place in a minute. Communication was also solid.

So much better than the listing showed

I'll admit I was slightly trepidatious upon booking, but this house far surpassed expectations. It is well appointed and far larger feeling than the online pictures would suggest. Super convenient to Pleasant Mountain, too. Great place for skiing.

Great for our family

The home was very clean and nicely decorated and had everything we needed. The location to down town Bridgton and close access to the water was great. We spent every day down by the water and the Sandy beach made getting in and out of the water easy for our little ones. We would definitely stay here again!

Fun and relaxing family vacation

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Highland Lake. The house was very clean. Plenty of towels and we appreciated the supply of paper towels, toilet paper, soap, and even shampoo. The window AC units in the bedrooms were also appreciated on several warm nights. There is a nice view of the lake from the deck, where we ate many of our meals. The walk down to the lake and the shared beach area was quick and easy. Highland Lake is beautiful and clean. We were pleasantly surprised that the house had two single kayaks in addition to the double kayak and canoe mentioned in the listing. This allowed several of us to be out on kayaks exploring the lake together. The town of Bridgton was also fun to explore with many cute shops and restaurants. Dawn was quick to respond to any questions I had. She has put together a binder at the house with a lot of useful information about the area, as well as detailed photos showing how to access the shared beach area. Overall we had a great vacation -- thank you Dawn and Andy.

Great, clean place that allows dogs!

Very grateful to have found this property. We love traveling with our dog and sometimes the places we stay aren't the best, as if the owners have given up on keeping the place clean. This place was the opposite - they went to great lengths to keep the property clean and nice. The location can't be beat either. Thank you!

Very cute, great location

We really enjoyed our stay here. House is super cute, simple layout with open space for gathering and nice sized bedrooms. Very well stocked and a nice view of the lake. Close to other camps with a small shared beach, well kept landscape and friendly neighbors. Very close to downtown Bridgton and hiking trails.

As Good As Being in Your Own Home

View to Lake is spectacular! There is plenty of room. 2 adults and a 7 year old had the upstairs and we had the main floor. The kitchen is nicely equipped and we were able to do our dinners there. The laundry is so convenient and we used it during our stay. Dawn always provides all sheets, towels, and sundry goods, which is a HUGE bonus. She answers email questions quickly. And the house is located very close to downtown Bridgton. You will love it!

Cute Lake House

This was a really cute house on the lake that was very comfortable for 5 adults and 2 dogs. The house is nicely stocked with staples needed for cooking, etc. Communication with owner was excellent. The location is close to restaurants and shopping.

Perfect Spot!

Dawn's home was the perfect spot for our group of 6 adults and a couple of dogs. Check-in/Check-out and all commmunication with Dawn was quick and easy. Quiet area with super friendly neighbors. We were able to take the dogs out on the frozen lake for a fun walk and we skiied Sunday River one day (~50min drive). House is very clean, kitchen is well stocked and we had plenty of space - beds were comfortable too! If you are coming in winter, a car with all-wheel or 4-wheel drive is certainly ideal. We had a blast and hope to come back another time!
