The place is both beautiful and immaculate.The rooms all look like they were decorated by an interior designer.In addition to all the expected necessities there was every possible amenity you could ever have a need for from vegetable peelers, corkscrews, coffee maker, extra towels, and fire pit with a huge stack of seasoned wood.Convenient and ample parking.Gracious host who left a welcoming note with cookies.Our best ever experience on VBRO.

The house was absolutely beautiful and so well kept. We came into the area for a wedding and were so happy we choose the accommodations we did. The house has everything you need when going away. We will definitely be back.

This property was exactly what I expected and was certainly worth every penny.A great place to unwind and recharge - either inside, or outside in nature. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well stocked (including a great spice selection), living room furniture was comfy and the bathrooms offered the mainstays. Hot water was plentiful!Would definitely return should the need arise.

This is our family’s fourth visit to the Hillsdale house, and every time is a delight. The house is so comfortable and quiet, it feels like you are in your own space. Plus, Hillsdale and the surrounding area is really charming and has plenty to do. This time I was able to take advantage of the house’s proximity to the Harlem Valley Rail Trail, which was amazing! We will be back!

We stayed at this wonderful chalet style house in Hillsdale for a few days whilst visiting family in the area. It was very comfortable with everything we needed, nestled in a very quiet area surrounded by trees and nature. The beautiful patio and fire pit was a real bonus. We will definitely come back if we got the chance at some point!

Perfect cozy stay for a girls weekend in. Kitchen was very well appointed and stocked with everything we could possibly need. The beds were very comfy. We hope to make this a yearly tradition at this cozy cottage!

The property is lovely. We were there in June, but I can imagine how this place really shines as a winter getaway - especially so close to a ski mountain. Ample parking and comfortable rooms. The kitchen and pantry are very well stocked, and we appreciated that we did not have to bring in basics like aluminum foil, plastic wrap, etc. The gas grill worked beautifully. The front deck is a great place to enjoy coffee in the early mornings. We just wish we had more time to spend in the beautiful firepit area.

Everything was exactly as advertised. Morning coffee on the deck and late night listening to the tree frogs were highlights. We didn’t have time, so we’d love to come back in the fall to enjoy the leaves and the firepit. Nearby Millerton is a quaint town. Great house and hosts.

Had such a comfortable and relaxing stay. Enjoyed the fire pit with family and the house was exceptionally clean and ready for enjoy. So many activities close by to enjoy as well.

Stayed with my sisters for my sisters birthday and it was amazing. The house is perfectly sized and laid out. It was super clean and everything was nice. Close to food and the mountain and everything. Can’t recommend enough!

Beautiful Cabin

Our stay was perfect. Very clean, had all the essentials, A/C in each room and the surroundings were gorgeous! Bill was very responsive and check in/check out was a breeze. Would definitely book again!
