Another wonderful stay!

We did our annual Christmas/New Year's family vacation here again this year. Enjoyed it greatly! This is a very family friendly property with a wonderful owner. Highly Recommend!

We've been coming to this lake every year for almost two decades, location is one of the best on the lake being 100 yards from the boat ramp. Beds available will easily sleep 10 with no one being relegated to the couch. Two AC controls for those who may want it cooler/warmer than others. Few rooms in the house have been modernized with a contemporary feel and look, others you can live in the 1950's vibe. There is sufficient parking in the front for 3-4 trucks with full size boat trailers. There is power at the cabana to plug in beached boats, will need 100-150' of extension cord. The lit cabana outside was a nice touch at night. No local TV, need to have a digital subscription to watch anything (Netflix, Youtube TV, Roku, etc.). Owner is quick to contact with any issues via a phone call. There are a few convenience issues the owners are aware of and are looking to correct/resolve prior to the next visitors.

Perfect lake location.

Group reunion on the lake in Babson Park. Wonderful place with all you could ask for in a rental property. So accommodating and easy. Highly recommended for anyone seeking group spot on the lake.

Great house with great activities

The pictures perfectly represent this home. And they offer plenty of activities and you don't need to bring anything except for your clothing because everything is provided

Great place for a family meet up

Our family traveled from the Midwest to enjoy a Florida Christmas in this lovely home!! Beautiful weather allowed us time on the lake and this spacious home is equipped with everything our family needed from playing to food prep. We will be back!

Awesome Lake House!

This is a spectacular house for a family vacation. Plenty of games, canoe, kayak, very equipped kitchen. The home was clean and comfortable. Owner is accommodating and quick to respond. The lake is gorgeous. Can’t wait to come back.

Our Second Year for the 4th of July

For the second year in a row, my family had an amazing time! My nephew has a boat and the proximity to Bob's Landing is so convenient. Plenty to do with the smaller children, great fishing for the bigger folks and just a wonderful property for the entire family! We hope to stay for a third year!!!

Beyond Expectations

Enjoyed spending the week in this very spacious house with beautiful view. Location was quiet and provided everything we needed. New dock was great for our boats. Owner was very responsive and answered questions quickly.

Fabulous!!!

My family and I stayed for the week and had an absolutely amazing time. The house is spacious, the location is awesome and the lake sunsets are spectacular. We're already looking forward to next year! =)

Great holiday getaway

We spent the Fourth of July weekend at this cute lake home. It was a perfect spot for us to bring our boat and enjoy hanging out with our family and friends. The neighbors were friendly. The grocery store was a 20 minute drive away, not a big deal, just something to be aware of. We would definitely return for another stay.

Angeline, thank you for your kind review. We’re so happy to hear you enjoyed your stay. Sorry you had to drive so far for the grocery store! I should leave a map of closest grocery stores. We have a save a lot south of us in Froatproof that is 8 minutes away and if you take the backroads you can get to the Publix in Lake Wales in 16 minutes. There’s also a Dollar General that has a surprising amount of groceries 5 minutes away. Hopefully that’s helpful if you come again :)

Perfect family weekend!

Charming home! Very clean, well maintained home with a great beach area and nice dock. Very spacious, we had two families that stayed and had plenty of room. We also had guests over for birthday party and Easter dinner. Chris (owner) was great to work with, very responsive ... great communication. Highly recommend this home if your looking for a family, fun filled vacation. We will definitely go back.

Great 4th of July Getaway!

We enjoyed a fun weekend with extended family at Crooked Lake. Perfect for a large family to relax and get away together. The boat ramp is very conveniently located and the lake offers plenty of room for water sports. Lots to explore. The community puts on a fabulous firework display in the center of the lake. Definitely bring your bug spray for evenings!

Memories At the Lake

The house was perfect for family time at the lake. There’s plenty of room to rest and relax. The dock and gazebo is a great place to have a cup of coffee watch the kids play in the water. The boat ramp is next door which makes it easy to bring your boat ashore. There’s plenty of games to play along with a cool ping pong table. Just a wonderful place to stay.

Amazing Lake Home!!

We had the best time celebrating our son’s 16th birthday, even during nasty rainy weather! The home as well equipped with plenty of activities for teenage boys to do inside while it rained. The dock and gazebo set up was perfect, love the size of the backyard, the house was absolutely perfect for our set up. We can’t wait to come back!!

Get away

Great lay out well stocked enough beds and sitting inside and outside love the covered gazebo on the sand the only thing we thought the dock needed a ladder to get in and out of the water when you wanted to jump off of it

Exactly What We Wanted!

Everyone in our group agreed that this place was a gem! We had everything we needed, plenty of room, very clean, beds were super comfortable, and it just felt like home the minute we walked in. The Owner was extremely responsive and polite. We are definitely planning on coming back! The only problem we had was that the week went by too fast!

Perfect trip

We had an amazing time here again this year! Everything we could think of was available and we packed in as much fun as possible. Skiing on the lake, fishing and a few new discoveries in the area. The Owners were extremely easy to work with and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Absolutely first rate treatment all around, we will be back. Hopefully sooner than later!

Awesome week

We came back again based on all the wonderful times we’ve had before here and this place continues to deliver for our family! We had a full week of skiing and fishing, and a beautiful sunset every night! Finally made the day trip to Bok Tower Gardens, and now I’m telling everyone I know they must go there to see it! As always, great communication with the Owners, thanks again. We will be back!

My Favorite Hiding Spot

This home has won the title of my new favorite hiding spot. If you want to escape from the crazy constant world we live in, this is the place. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had a fire, fished, played corn hole, played pool, and watched movies. We loved the amazing sunrises and watching all the lake come to life with all the creatures who live there. Everything we needed was there though we did venture out to Frostproof for a nice breakfast, and another night to the Frostbite. We also enjoyed the Crooked Bass' seafood..top notch. This is the true definition of a lake house, and my only complaint was that the time went way too fast, and I wish you were closer to us in PA. Thank you so much for sharing your slice of paradise.

Chris and Christina Gutierrez live nearby in Lakeland, FL with their 3 children. They have enjoyed coming to Crooked Lake with their family for many years so were thrilled to find this home available in the Spring of 2019. After a few months of remodeling it is ready to share!

Crooked Lake is a special lake with a white sandy bottom and great fishing. It is huge in size with many nooks and crannies to explore. This particular property- the Crooked Lake Cove is very large. It is perfect for a small group that wants a lot of space or a larger group. The surrounding area has some beautiful rolling hills and orange groves. It is also conveniently located close to Bob's Landing which has a marina and boat ramp. In addition it is a couple blocks away from a hiking trail.

Plenty of extras are provided in this rental such as 4 large smart TV's with cable, a multitude of board games, ping pong/pool table, paddle boards, kayaks, and a canoe.
