Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry the stay did not meet your expectations, but I would like to clarify the circumstances. Hot water is not rationed at the property. During the heatwave, the programme had been switched off after the previous stay and this was unfortunately not identified before your arrival. When you reported it at 8:07am, I restored it at 8:29am, advised that the water would take around 30 minutes to heat, arranged extra towels, and checked again at 10:40am. I received no reply indicating that the issue remained. When you contacted me again at 11:14pm, I remotely activated the hot-water boost for five hours and scheduled it again for 6:00am. The hallway controller has separate settings for Living, Bed and Water; the Bed setting had been boosted rather than Water, so this did not heat the water. I accept that clearer instructions could have prevented this confusion and will improve them. No cleanliness concern was raised during the stay, despite several messages. The only housekeeping issue mentioned was the shortage of hand towels, which I addressed immediately. Had any cleaning problem been reported, I would have arranged for the cleaners to return. I regret the initial inconvenience and remain committed to providing guests with a clean, comfortable stay and prompt assistance.
