Very nice house! Great location but there is construction next door. Overall this was a very good vacation house!

Family Beach Vacation

The house was wonderful and the beach was amazing! Our only issue was transportation. We had difficulty getting around outside of walking. Lyft services the area but can take awhile to get a response. Thankfully, there were restaurants and a gas station within 1/2 mile. Biking was fun but we didn't have enough bikes for everyone. We loved the Inlet/Rosemary Beach areas. Lots to see.

Family Vacation

Beautiful property with ocean/gulf views and a short walk to the beach. I had to give the property 4 stars because it would be really nice to have beach chairs available to use. There were also ants in the house, sliding door to the pool was stuck and difficult to open and the electrical in the downstairs bathroom did not work. Even with these issues it was still an amazing property. It sounds small, but the lack of beach chairs would make me not rent the property again.

Gorgeous home close to the beach

We were immediately impressed by the grand house, high ceilings, lovely decor and plenty of space for our family to spread out and be comfortable. The short walk to the beautiful public beach was so convenient. We also enjoyed making use of the bikes that were on site. We were very happy with the house itself. The negatives are the construction noise and view of construction site with the house next door. Not a big deal - but does detract a bit when you are sitting on the 3rd floor balcony - which is where you want to be. The other detractor is the noise from the nearby highway. Finally, we were disappointed b/c the pool heater was broken during our stay (which we did not know ahead) and so the pool was quite cold. Hopefully that will be repaired soon. Overall it is a beautiful house with a great location close to the beach and the communication with the property manager was good throughout.

Bachelorette Trip

The house was incredible - between the pool, the ample space, and the proximity to the beach, we were thrilled with our stay. My only advice to future renters is to pick up extra house supplies like trash bags, toilet paper, dish soap, paper towels etc when you make your grocery run. Easy enough to get it all from the car to the kitchen with the super convenient elevator though!

Awesome for a group !

We stayed at the property for a girls trip. It was perfect for 12 people. So close to the beach and the pool was awesome! Property was clean and everything in working order. The only thing we wish we had were a few more beach amenities, like a cooler, umbrellas, chairs etc. Flying from out of town, we couldn’t bring all of that So would have been nice to have included with the property. Overall great experience!

4 generations on vacay

Family vacation with 4 generations! The elevator made it possible for 83 yo great grandmother to enjoy all aspects of the home. She was able to view the ocean from the top floor balcony when she wasn’t up to visiting the beach. Roof top pool kept the littles (aged 21 months and 4 years) entertained when we weren’t on the beach. Beach was just across the road making it SO convenient. The bikes were used daily. All in all- a great experience! Already planning our return trip.

Luxurious Escape

With towering ceilings and bright white walls, Mala house really does make you feel like a VIP. My wife and I stayed in this house just the two of us and were spoiled from the very beginning. The elevator is an immense utility especially when bringing in groceries to the third floor. The ceilings are much taller than we expected from the photos and description that we found ourselves using the elevator even if only to go down one flight of stairs. Be sure to follow the elevator instructions exactly, or you will be locked out and will very quickly discover how "out of shape" you are. The third floor really is the best place to be. It is very spacious and open. The very large ceiling fan provides a fantastic air flow and the balcony with rooftop pool will make you forget all about the beach. Our visit was in April and was a bit breezy to enjoy the pool, however, we were pleasantly surprised to find that the pool was heated during our stay which we did not ask for, or pay for, but were very grateful to utilize. With white walls comes with the occasional "bruise" and we did notice that many of the walls had various black scuffs and blemishes on them, specifically the second floor by the elevator. It should not be confused with lack of cleanliness though. The kitchen is described as fully equipped and does include a crock pot! However, I did find that it was lacking liquid measure cups and a mixer. The griddle on the stovetop was very tempting, but is nearly impossible to clean unless you bring your own cleaning supplies and instruments. You are better off using the plentiful pans supplied for any indoor grilling. The outdoor grill works great, and lights off with no issues, but the surface was very dirty and took a bit of time to clean before putting anything on it. Unfortunately, there is construction ongoing next door. We were lucky enough to avoid much noise, but there is the occasional worker at the same level as the pool and you will lose privacy to some degree. On a few occasions we did encounter some workers while making our walk to the beach but they were all very friendly. Pool maintenance will arrive unannounced and will let themselves in with no time to prepare. This was the most distasteful part of our experience and was very intrusive.I called the management company to voice my annoyance with no answer or return call. Maintenance days should be listed in the property description. It is the only reason I do not give 5 stars.

Great family vacation

We all loved this house! It was absolutely gorgeous. The ocean view was better than expected and the beach was just a short walk away. The house had everything we could possibly need, including ice maker, regular and Keurig coffee makers and a gourmet kitchen. The beds, pillows and sofas were extremely cozy and comfortable. We had 10 people in our group and there was plenty of room for us to all spend time together in the family room. We were happy that we paid for the pool to be heated because the teens enjoyed that feature. The management company was great- quick to respond to my questions before and during our stay. We can’t wait to come back!

Amazing location, beautiful home

The home is beautiful and is located very close to the public beach. Super clean home and the elevator was so convenient. Not a lot included like beach towels, sand toys, wagon, chairs, etc.. like a lot of beach houses have. No cleaning supplies provided or stuff like tissues, garbage bags, and only 2 rolls of TP Per bathroom. So make sure to bring all that. Construction next door but it wasn’t too bad. Make sure to check propane before you want to grill. Pool guy showed up and walked right in and upstairs. We were in our swimsuits and startled a bit so you may want to find out what day cleaning happens. Make your dinner reservations well in advance. I would recommend this home. The roof top pool is a DREAM!!

Beautiful spacious property.

Mala House is a lovely home and perfect for a large family of all ages. My husband coined the third floor the "Club Level" because of its beautiful view of the Gulf, the pool and covered outdoor living space plus the living room, kitchen, and dining areas that are all spacious and with ample seating for a crowd. The home's layout was very well planned. The kitchen did not lack for any necessities. Particularly since it is a brand-new home, there were several necessary calls to the management team but they were attentive and responsive. Each bath could use two more sets of linens and it would be nice if the bedrooms each had some more flat surfaces for convenience. The access to the beach is closer than it appears on the pictures and the boardwalk is essentially flat which makes it easily accessible for all ages. Chairs and umbrella setups were not included with the rental. Assuming an owner would have the leverage to negotiate discounted rates, including setups should be considered. We would most definitely return to Mala House as it is now. We are interested to see if the new construction on Mala Way adds a lot of traffic and/or takes away from the view. The home is lovely and pristine so continued vigilant management is a must. Thank you for a wonderful week.
