This home was absolutely lovely in the way it was decorated, appropriate for the time period it was built. If you're looking for an historic home that is very comfortable and well maintained with all your needs met, I would try Clara's House. The continental breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The Host was very responsive. I could not recommend it more highly, historic with enough modern features to be so comfortable.

We were not able to get in at the check in time. They came to let someone in 25 mins late which was a huge inconvenience as we had to get ready to go to a wedding dinner party that was a half hour away. Apparently someone forgot. We had to reset the WiFi because it didn’t work and had to call because the regular tv stations would not work. That was never fixed. It all was very frustrating.

This cottage is such a gem. Its location close to restaurants was wonderful to us after a long day of driving. The hosts left some loaves of amazing bread and other goodies for us to snack on in the morning. When we are back in the Dripping Springs area, this will be our home away from home again. This is just a warm, welcoming and comfortable place to stay.

Located next to the actual “dripping spring”… this quaint cottage transports you back to the 1880s… but with all the comforts of the 2020s. Our stay was awesome! Walk to a brewery. Drive to a distillery, winery, hiking, Hamilton pool, shopping, etc. The cottage is clean, comfortable, and centrally located. Enjoy!
