Peaceful, Lake View Cabin

A beautiful cabin in a country setting, with an outdoor stair case to the lower level for access to water for fishing and use of rowboat/kayaks/canoe or trails.
The cabin has beds that sleep up to 8 people, with a couch and plenty of floor or deck space for sleeping bags. It has 1 master BR, 1 bath and a large loft. Cabin has hard wood floors, tile shower, jetted tub, with all newer appliances/washer dryer and fully stocked kitchen. Also has an outdoor fire pit, LP grill, and picnic tables, and firewood available for $7 a bundle.There are 2 state parks within 40 minutes and Volga Lake recreational area is about 10 miles away.

The cabin is secluded, but there is a campground connected to the property that is mainly used on the weekends except during peak travel times. So, if you have friends with campers or Rv's, invite them along. There are kayaks, canoe and a rowboat to use for free with Life jackets provided. Unfortunately, no swimming is allowed in the lake due to insurance reasons, and the fishing is catch and release with the use of artificial bait, which helps ensure safe release of fish. There is also a 25$ per pet fee and a liability waver for all guests to sign.
Please bring your own heavy blankets if needed, light blankets are provided.


I'm usually available by phone, but guests should be prepared to do a self check in and complete check in without my assistance. It's located in the country, on a gravel road, 2 miles from a really cool small town of Wadena.
You WILL see local wildlife and bugs.
