As of March 2026, The Appalachian started a garage renovation project and also includes the small parking area up top. The garage will still be open during this project. In the months ahead, the community will also be upgrading several exterior surface areas, including the spaces behind the building near the pool, both entrances, and the areas surrounding the property along Route 94.

Enjoyable stay

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo was clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities we needed. The pools and hot tub were so great to keep our daughter entertained when we weren’t busy with family.

The apartment is spacious and very clean. The view was beautiful and the kitchen had eveything we needed. Gerry was responsive to all our needs. Would come again!

Great Location

Went for a quick ski trip with the family and this place was perfect. Parked the car in the garage and didn’t need it until we left. Walked to lodge, lifts and snowtubing. Enjoyed the outdoor pool and hot tubs as well. Very clean and everything you need for fun time.

Perfect winter overnight night stay for hikers.

Stairway to Heaven on the AT is too busy in summer. Winter is the perfect time to do it and this was a lovely way to rest, relax and warm up. The fireplace was cozy. The view was fabulous and the year round pools, hot tub and sauna were so soothing. Highly recommend.

Beautiful property, nicely situated being able to view the hot tub, sauna area, and edge of ski lifts. Some great games to keep busy on a cozy day in or chilly night like when it was in the teens while we were there next to the fireplace. Only downside was few glasses other than coffee mugs that matched, one solo 16oz glass, and a glass cappuccino cup, remaining glasses were all mugs. One of the seats was replaced at the kitchen table, not an issue for us at all, it was unclear when the chair had been replaced, old one was in the closet at check-in. Communication with host was great, very effective, clear, and concise. 100% would stay again

A nice getaway!

Great rental unit. Updated and well appointed with all the essentials. Close to good dining and entertainment. Scenic property/view from the balcony. Exactly what we wanted/needed for a quick getaway!

Great place to stay at MountainCreek.

We chose this property for a 4 day weekend ski getaway. The full kitchen, view, and layout was perfect for us. Check in process was so easy (we got to check in early!). The outdoor heated pool and hot tubs were just what we needed after a long day skiing. (Bring beach towels). We can’t wait to book again.

Can’t wait to go back!

Wow great condo! We loved it! Beautiful views of the pool and ski mountain. It was so cozy with the fireplace. It had a toaster, keurig coffee machine, pots, pans, utensils etc. We can’t wait to return.

My wife and I decided to buy this condo at Black Creek back in 2010 to create family memories and traditions with our 2 kids. We spend a lot of weekends there since its only about 1 hour away from our home in Bergen County NJ. We love sharing it with our guests who come not only from the US but also overseas. We love that!
