Residing in the heart of the Lower Garden District, this historic Greek Revival townhouse built in 1855 and located on Famous Magazine Street is easy walking distance to award-winning restaurants, antique shopping, The National WWII Museum, Coliseum Square Park and Second Line Movie Studios. The Saint Charles Streetcar line and the Convention Center are just a few blocks away. Less than 5 minutes to the French Quarter.

Beautiful antique furnished historic space feels more like a private home. Comprising the first floor of this 1855 Greek Revival restored townhouse, it is luxuriously large. Historic architectural features include 12 ft ceilings, decorative elements such as original carved wooden archway in parlors, large doors and windows, exposed brick and wood long plank floors. Open eating area and living room arrangement comfortably accommodates your group. This space includes its own private shaded courtyard. Amenities include streaming television, washer/dryer, all linens and towels, blow dryer, iron, ironing board, & coffee station. Luxury historic and modern features incorporated throughout. Decorated with a combination of excellent period French and American antiques, original artwork and modern design pieces.

Close to everything, take a stroll amid the crepe myrtles and Live Oak trees in this wonderful, eclectic neighborhood abundant in architectural treasures. Location is everything and with this apartment you do not need a car. Pick any direction and walk a few blocks and you'll pass coffee shops, parks, beautiful homes, museums, art galleries, restaurants, boutiques and more. This apartment is located on the bus route and three blocks from the Saint Charles Streetcar line.

Immaculately kept, this space exudes charm and character that makes you feel like a guest in a fine home. A pleasure to come back to after a long day in the Big Easy! The house is absolutely great! So cute & comfortable! It's exactly where you would want to stay in New Orleans. Julie was absolutely great & so helpful. The location is great & we would definitely stay here again. Loved it!!!

Probably one of the best vacation rentals I’ve stayed in. The host was extremely helpful and provided us with a list of great restaurants close by. The place was immaculate and met all of our needs there. Would stay again

This property is in an absolutely wonderful area of the Lower Garden District - super close to tons of wonderful restaurants and even downtown. Check-in was super easy, so was check-out. The hosts were very friendly and easy to deal with. Very clean, and has everything you need. Beautiful architecture, too.

Quintessential New Orleans VRBO. Incredibly well located. Very easy to get around, quiet street, great restaurants and bars within walking distance. You could easily spend two or three days at the World War II museum. It’s absolutely amazing so comprehensive so well done. And it’s all over a two minute walk down the street.Julie was a joy to interact with. Communications were incredibly quick and always complete. She was an incredible resource for local experiences. A list of favorite restaurants could keep you eating for a month, we got to try a few and they were incredible.We particularly liked the back patio for coffee first thing in the morning.

The hosts responded quickly to requests and provided excellent suggestions for restaurants, nightlife and sights. The location allowed for walking to WW11 Museum, antique and boutique shopping. The property was quaint New Orleans with space for relaxing as well as a private outdoor space. The beds were comfortable with lovely linens. The kitchen was limited in space but provided all necessary items for snacks or light dining. Exceptional choice for a memorable week.

Second time was just as charming!

This was my second stay & I was equally as impressed the second time around. My stay was a bit longer this time & I found the house to be well appointed & comfortable! I will be staying here again in the future!

This was a great place to stay..clean and nicely decorated. The host was very accommodating and helpful. Sent me lots of information about the area and recommendations for restaurants . Birdys was a nice place for breakfast and it's just steps away.We were visiting Nola to go to the WW2 museum and it was just a short walk up Magazine St.We would definitely stay here again ..just too bad we couldn't have stayed longer this trip!

Great stay in New Orleans!

This rental is located in a clean, quiet neighborhood close to down town. The manager was a pleasure to work with. We highly recommend it for anyone wanting to visit New Orleans!
