Amazing Location and property!

Great family getaway

This place was perfect for a big family. With the master bedrooms very separate from the rest. Yard and pool space was amazing. Kitchen could’ve been stocked a little better. We had some problems with trash, air conditioning and outside lights but the Avant team was very very responsive! Overall A+

Gorgeous, well appointed home

The house is beautiful, spacious, well maintained and appointed. Gorgeous backyard overlooking PGAwest stadium course. The gourmet kitchen was a dream. Comfortable bedding and lovely amenities. We had some difficulties in receiving timely communications from the management company, which distracted from our relaxation, but the issue was eventually resolved. Would enjoy staying here again provided the management company is able to resolve their responsiveness issues. That aside, the house is amazing.

Bring earplugs.

Its a shame the listing is not more clear about the fact this property has full home construction sights on either side of the rental. The drills, concrete saws and construction dust was at a very high level. Sitting outside is nearly impossible because of the dust and noise. They do seem to stop working around 4pm, so that was a relief, evenings were pleasant. Big vacuous spaces, not many comfortable places to sit tho. Great views of the mountains, and iconic golf course view, nice pool and spa.

La Quinta weekend

This property is beautiful and very spacious. Its a well thought blend of some of the original finishes with very modern upgrades. The pool/spa is an older style but very comfortable and a great design with steps directly from the pool, up a waterfall and into the spa. Views are incredible. Fairway, lake and beautiful mountain backdrop. Host was responsive via text on a couple of quick questions we had. Note, there is no current parking in the garage. Also, the construction mentioned in a couple of recent posts was not an issue at all for us. Thehouse next door is under renovation but all work appears to be inside finish work now. We heard no noise. We'll stay there again if its available.

Good, but not amazing

The house was large and had a pretty view, but there were some annoyances that made our stay less than amazing. First I was alarmed to learn a few days before our stay that the houses on both sides of the property were under construction - this hadn’t been listed in the description when we booked the property, and I had to spent a bunch of time on the phone with the management company figuring out if we should try to relocate, etc. Luckily there ended up being minimal noise from the construction (phew!) but it was not fun having to deal with and would have been avoided if the listing had been accurate to begin with. Then, when we were an hour from checkin, the management company sent me the house manual which mentioned that the pool and spa aren’t heated, and that you have to specifically request that the heat is turned on and pay and extra $150 a day for the heating! I had the company turn on the heat right away (they acted quickly which was nice), but we were able to swim or use the spa that whole afternoon or evening because it was still heating up and too cold. Plus it added to the cost. Then when we arrived at the house, the pool cleaner showed up - seems like they could have had him come before our checkin, not right after. The spa always turned off at night so it was cold in the morning and had to be reheated. That said, the house was clean and overall pretty nice. Had to buy our own dish towels and pot holders because they didn’t have any at the house. Overall, I think it is overpriced for what you get. The management was very nice and tried to be accommodating which I appreciated. Still, we wouldn’t stay here again.

Hi there, Larissa! We updated our listing as soon as we found out that the two homes on both ends of this property are under construction. We will update our listing once this is complete. Our listing also states that pool heat is available for an additional fee and needs to be requested before your stay. We typically ask for 48-hours notice so that the pool has time to heat up, but we made an exception in your case. As stated in our home manual, the pool and spa are serviced twice a week on Tuesday and Friday. For your convenience, your pool technician will access the pool from the side or back of the house. We will check that the home is stocked with dish towels and potholders during our next inspection to that future guests do not encounter the same inconvenience. Thank you so much for your feedback!
