Enjoy this beautiful 1300 square feet guest home tucked away on a luxurious Sunnyvale estate. With direct highway access, our guest home is the perfect location for anyone needing a short 15 to 20 minute drive to Downtown Dallas or surrounding attractions. Our guest home can easily accommodate four people. There is a king-size bed in the Master Suite as well as a queen-size pullout sofa in the Living Room. There is also an oversize 7' couch in the Master Suite and standard size couch in the Living Room. Everything in our guest home is brand new and in pristine condition.

LOCATION - Our guest home is 15 minutes east of Downtown Dallas on Hwy. 80 in Sunnyvale, TX. For mapping purposes, you can enter "Jot Em Down Store"; we are slightly more than 1/4 mile from there.

FLEXIBLE CHECK-IN/OUT - We have scheduled check-in and check-out times, but we are very flexible with these times as long as our schedule and logistics permit.

AVAILABLE SUPPLIES - We provide a Keurig, you bring the coffee. In addition to a kitchen fully stocked with dishes and cookware, there is a full size double-oven, microwave, and 25 cu. ft. refrigerator/freezer. There is also a laundry room with washer and dryer. We provide toilet paper, paper towels, dish washing needs, bath towels, and linens.

PETS - Due to a severe pet allergy in our family, pets are not allowed.

SMOKING - No smoking of any kind is allowed inside our guest home. Please smoke outside.

NO PARTIES - Our guest home is for the specific use as a family, friends or corporate gathering. This is NOT a place to host a party for anyone beyond those staying in the house with you. All people should be OVER THE AGE OF 25 unless they are part of the family.

PARKING - There is on-site parking for up to four cars at our guest home (on-road parking is not allowed).

ELECTRONICS - 50" HD TV with Fire TV Stick in Living Room. 42" HD TV with Fire TV Stick in Master Suite. Both TVs have access to Hulu Live, Disney+, ESPN+, Netflix, Prime Video and many other streaming applications. Lightning fast, reliable Wireless Internet, up to 400+ Mbps download on all combined devices (100+ Mbps per device) and up to 20+ Mbps total upload speed. Sonos speaker with Pandora, Amazon Music, Spotify, and numerous other streaming music options. Numerous high-speed USB chargers located throughout the home.

Yearly Vacation

I’ve been staying at VRBO’s since 2019 and I found this home the absolute best I’ve ever stayed at. The owners were amazing and made sure our stay was amazing. This was a great location. The home was well maintained and the bed was so comfortable. I would stay here every time I travel to Dallas.

Perfect home

We have been planning our trip for nine months and since then the host has been great at responding to all of our questions. We had no idea just how beautiful Sunnyvale is and how easy it is to get everywhere on our agenda. Coming from Vegas, being on this much land in the country has been a real treat. We will definitely be back.

Little hidden gem

I loved the privacy the guest house had to offer. The door ways were wide and we had a washing machine. All the drawers were labeled, we could find everything very easily. The host was very responsive. Would stay again if needed.

Incredible stay. I do recommend this location for other travelers needing somewhere to rest!

Property owners were communicating both informatively and quickly, making sure that everything was okay during my stay. The property itself was easily accessible even in a private neighborhood setting. Place was clean, well stocked with various supplies, and being very close to some major roads was also a big plus.

Great Weekend Stay

We absolutely enjoyed staying here over Memorial Weekend. We were also in town for a high school graduation. The house had all the things we needed and more! The hosts have labeled and provided so much that it felt like staying at our own home. The king bed was SUPER comfy and I have never slept that good in a hotel! Will definitely look into staying here when we come back to visit family.

Beautiful home in the country, minutes from the city

The house was spacious and clean, with great views of grass and trees. The location was convenient to the highway, but felt like the countryside. Scott was quick to respond to the few qustions we had. Five stars all the way! A great value.

Excellent stay

Location was half way between my son's work and home, couldn't have been more perfect. The house was awesome, hot water was hot and water pressure was perfect. Incredible library and large, large living space. We will be staying more often as we look for our retirement home in the metroplex area. The pictures were perfect. What you see is what you get, absolutely wonderful.

Wonderful place!

We truly enjoyed our stay. The property has all the luxury of our home. The owners allowed us our privacy but we knew they were available if needed. The location of this rental was convenient for our visits to Rowlett, Texas. This property offers easy access to major highways, yet you feel you are in the country. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again. This property gets a 10+ out of 5.

Fabulous property!

We’ve stayed in many VRBO properties over the years, and this guest house is definitely one of the best. It felt like home as soon as we arrived. We enjoyed having a home in which to visit with family. If you’re considering reserving his property, just do it — you won’t regret it!

Delight in Dallas

Perfect house for a getaway with the wife and daughter. House is spacious, comfortable, and extremely clean, with a great location right off a major highway. Did some sightseeing downtown (15-20 minutes away) and went to a Cowboys game (30-40 minutes away). Owners are welcoming and informative. They suggested a nice area for groceries/shopping about 10 minutes away. Great stay and we would love to come back.

Home Away From Home

I could not imagine having stayed at a better house. Our hosts, who live in the property, were very kind and nice but also left us to our privacy as needed. The house was very clean, the bed had fresh sheets and the house had beautiful decorating. Even though our stay was short, Scott was very helpful with pointing out where we should go get groceries if needed and also suggested the North Park Mall in Dallas. He did not leave out the grocery stores or mall in Mesquite, but we did prefer going to stores in Forney and the mall in Dallas. We would genuinely love to come back and spend a couple more days here and are sure we will be doing so. Scott's house is definitely worth staying in. Needless to say, Scott and Jill were very attentive and thoughtful. Thank you for your hospitality!

This exceeded our expectations

This property exceeded our expectations. The guest house is in a secluded, tranquil location with a beautiful décor. We had a completely enjoyable time while visiting our grandchildren. We would definitely rent this property again.
