House 120 m2, living room with lounge, 4 bedrooms (2 bedrooms on the ground floor, 2 bedrooms upstairs), 1 mezzanine with 1 BZ, 1 bathroom on the ground floor, 1 shower room with toilet on the floor, 1 independent WC on the ground floor, equipped done up kitchen, garage, closed and sported garden.
Ideally located in the heart of the D-Day sites (800m from the beach of Omaha Beach, American cemetery, the Pointe du Hoc, Arromanches, ...) and to visit the museums, the Cathedral and the Bayeux Tapestry, ... Large sandy beaches nearby.
Many activities nearby: school of sailing / yachting, fish markets, horse riding, hiking, ...
Supermarket 2.5 km with bread. All shops in Grandcamp-Maisy, Port-en-Bessin.

Perfect location

This house is just minutes from Omaha beach. The house is perfect for a group visiting the area. There is even a ping pong table in the basement.

Relaxing break

Our second visit and will definitely look to come again really quiet village in a perfect location for Bayeux Caan and the DDay beaches. The property has everything you need in it and was clean warm and comfortable

Great property, very well equiped and well located. We had a very enjoyable time at this lovely property being in a peaceful and quiet location with a pretty and secure garden only a short walk to the sea and resturants. Well located for all of the historic sites of D Day and Bayeaux etc.... we highly recommend a stay... we will be back.

Beautiful House in a Great Location

We absolutely loved the Maison Blanche! It is in a great location, central to many of the D-Day sites and only a few minute walk to Omaha Beach. And there's ping-pong in the basement! The communication with our hosts, Delphine and Nicolas was excellent and they are very friendly! Hopefully we will be able to visit again in the near future.

Just Perfect

Merci to Delfine and her husband, very friendly host. The house has everything what you need and it is perfect point to start in the Normandi. Restaurant is also not far away.

Perfect in every way!

Perfect location for touring all the historical locations. The property is beautifully decorated inside and out with plenty of space (there was 6 of us). Outdoor space was awesome. There is a local restaurant perfect for eating out as well as a well stocked kitchen for staying in (markets are not so close but we stopped at a grocery in Caen on the way). We would definitely recommend this property.

Great place for the family

We started for two nights t with or four kids and my in-laws. 8 people total. Crib worked great-just bring your own sheets. Lovely home in a great area with nice proximity to the beach!

Exploring Normandy

We enjoyed the home. It was clean, the beds were comfortable. Great space for the family after a day of sightseeing. Kitchen had everything we needed. The location was great to see the airborne museum in St.. Mere Iglese, Omaha Beach , Utah Beach, Point du Hoc, Caen Memorial Museum. We purchased groceries at Cocci and had wonderful meals at the local restaurants. Our grandson enjoyed the swing set. It was too cold during our stay but appreciated the outdoor tables for eating

Great, location and home

The location is centrally located to the historical sites and approximately 2.5 hours to Mont-Saint-Michel...well worth it. The house seems bigger than expected; almost like 2 homes in 1. The garden was beautiful. The kitchen was well -equipped; A suggestion is to add a hand-mixer and baking sheet. The gas depleted for the stove. We tried to contact the property manager but did not get a text back until the next day. Luckily, there was an extra tank in the garage. Would recommend adding instructions on how to change tanks Also, bug screens on the windows would've be helpful. We would highly recommend this home. We enjoyed our stay in this lovely area. The flowers were beautiful: roses in full bloom and fuscia. The pear tree was loaded. It was spacious inside and out. Loved it.

Situation idéale !

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine dans cette maison, qui est idéalement située pour visiter le secteur ! Que se soit pour les sites à visiter sur le thème du débarquement, visiter Bayeux, Port-en-Bessin ou pour profiter des balades ou de la magnifique plage! De plus, les propriétaires sont très accueillants et agréables !

5 Leute, wenn nicht gerade Paare dabei

Das Haus ist groß, die Betten Französisches Maß und dementsprechend, wenn man nicht gerade mit 3 Paaren anreist, auch eher als Einzelbette zu sehen. Das Sofa im Obergeschoß lässt sich für einen weiteren Schlafplatz ausziehen/umklappen. Ich würde eher eine Empfehlung als 6 Personenhaus mit Babybett anbieten. 8-10 Personen sind dann doch sehr knapp gerechnet. Eine Person über 1,80 m hat in der Regel die Füsse in der Nacht ausserhalb vom Bett. Die Bäder und Toilette sind in Ordnung und man kann damit gut zwei Wochen auskommen. Das Haus hat eine Tischtennisplatte in der Garage, die auch bei verregneten Wetter eine Beschäftigung bietet. Die Einfahrt eignet sich für 2 Fahrzeuge und Sitzplätze sind bei gutem Wetter aussen viel vorhanden. Im Innenraum befindet sich ein großer Tisch, der von 8 Personen benutzt werden kann, sofern das Geschirr in ausreichender Anzahl vorhanden ist. Die Küche hat einen Wasserkocher, Toaster (sehr gut für das Baguette vom Vortag ;) ) Kaffeemaschine und Mikrowelle. Die Spülmaschine lässt sich nur schlecht effizient mit dem Geschirr beschicken, dass alles irgendwie nicht passen will. Der Ofen ist leider nicht mehr als eine wärmender Ofen. Backen von Pizza und Ofenpommes sind nicht möglich. Der Gasherd dagegen ist sehr gut. Wer auch gerne kochen möchte, sollte bei dieser Küche daran denken, dass der Ofen nicht dafür geeignet ist. Wenn man alles oben genannte vorher weiß, kann man sich darauf einrichten und das Haus ist optimal für 5 Personen.

Noel en famille au large

Séjour très agréable dans une grande maison où chacun avait de quoi de reposer et s'isoler si besoin. Les chambres sont grandes, la literie très confortable. Les salles de bain aussi sont spacieuses et bien agencées avec des travaux récents. Grande table de salle à manger pour accueillir toute la maisonnée à table. La plage est à 10 mn à pieds par un chemin piéton parallèle à la route, à l'abri des voitures. Les lieux de visites ne manquent pas à proximité. Séjour vraiment agréable et sympathique (et le temps et la saison ne nous ont pas permis de profiter du grand jardin et de la terrasse...).

Nous avons passé un très bon week-end en famille pour fêter un anniversaire . Location spacieuse correspondant à la description. Très bon accueil des propriétaires. Recommandons vivement la maison blanche pour séjourner et visiter les sites historiques .
