Air conditioner did not work. Doors need to be worked on to close easier. It was a nice stay overall.

My wife and I had an event in the Powell area so this was very convenient for our needs. Located in the downtown area it is what you would expect with traffic and street noise but since Powell is a small town it wasn't bad. The host was very friendly and kept us informed about any issues that came up. We ate out for all our meals so the kitchen wasn't a big deal for us. However, like most, we enjoy our coffee in the morning and the description said there was a coffee maker so we brought our favorite coffee with us, only to find out it was a Keurig maker and we could not use our coffee. Fortunately, the host provided k-cups so we had something. The description also says that the property has laundry facilities, which is somewhat misleading. It has a dryer, which is pretty useless without a washer. Finally, one of the most important amenities of a property during the summer in a place like Wyoming is air conditioning. Although the apartment does have a window a/c unit, my opinion is that it is undersized and poorly located to cool the entire space, especially the bedrooms. With all that said, depending on your needs and time of year these things may not matter.

I wish I would have known about your coffee you brought, I would have told you there were K-cup inserts you could have put your own coffee in, in the top drawer. The AC is brand new and a 14,000 btu unit for 800 square feet. That is the size of the apartment, but I was having some operational difficulties in the beginning figuring out settings. Hopefully they are squared away. Lastly, the description of the apartment only lists a dryer and not complete laundry facilities. So, as sorry as I am for not having everything you wanted, it's important to ask questions and read the details, since we cannot offer what we don't have, or don't know you want or need. I'm glad there were things you enjoyed as well. And I must tell you, many if not most Wyoming homes do not have AC, including my own. Our mountain towns cool off fairly well at night.

Nice, but bathroom is tiny

My stay was pleasant for the most part. The host was very responsive to messages. There furniture was comfortable and the place was clean and nicely decorated. The big drawback was the bathroom. It is very cramped. Getting into the bathtub to take a shower was a bit precarious as the tub has tall sides and you can only get in from the corner. No grab bars. So wouldn’t recommend for anyone who has steadiness issues. The water from the shower went all over the floor because the shower curtain doesn’t go on the inside of the tub without covering up the faucet and any access to shower products. These issues could be remedied with a little remodeling. I would not stay here again due to these issues.

Sorry Meryl. It is a genuine clawfoot tub, leading to the higher edges for sure. The reason the price at $49/night is so reasonable however, is because I haven't torn the bathroom up. I've always navigated the curtain and tub/shower fairly easily, so I'm really sorry you had difficulty. It's a wonderful warning for those with serious mobility issues though.

Older home

This property is an older home and has some unique features. However, we were in town to meet a new grand baby so it worked for the short duration.

Cute older home with all amenities

Cute older house, looks much better than pictures. All the amenities of home, even supplied coffee! We were visiting our son that lived about 45 minutes away. Property manager even arranged for us to get in a day early.

Great Place

We were in town building our home and needed a place to lay our tired bones and get a good nights rest. It worked great. Not a large place but perfect for our needs. We were sad to have to leave early. We would use again for sure.
