Beautiful View

Beautiful view from the lanai. The location on the beach was fantastic. We did have a problem in the kitchen, plumbers had to work on in it for a half a day. Lighting in the kitchen and bathroom needed to have lights replaced. The bathroom light was never replaced. Other than these problems I would probably rent it in the future.

Excellent vacation

My husband and I visited Maui second time and we enjoyed our short vacation there it very much. This unit was absolutely amazing, it has the best location, beautiful ocean view and nice beach with long walks.

Comfy beachfront condo

Whale watching, turtle bobbing, waves splashing, sun and sand... what a great resort and condo. Appreciated the opportunity to stay here for 2 weeks. Comfy bed. Updated kitchen. Thank you so much!

Great Views

We loved our stay at the unit. Had great views on the lanai and we ate take out most nights just so we could enjoy sunset in peace on the lanai. Location is central to everything Maui.

Amazing condo with incredible view

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautifully decorated and well equipped condo. This oceanfront condo is located right on Sugar Beach and has the most incredible view. Great Place to Stay

Sugar Beach resort was a great place to stay. It is located close to so many attractions. We had a 10 minute ride the pier, and a 20 minute ride from the airport. They have shops on property to grab a bite to eat or a drink. The pool was clean and well maintain. The beach was wonderful to watch the sunset each evening. We had a wonderful view of the sunset from our balcony. The unit was clean and we had what we needed to cook.

Beach, lanai and air conditioning

My husband kept exclaiming how the clean sandy beach was one of the nicest he’s ever visited. We enjoyed walking north as far as we waned, then stopping for a swim before heading back to the condo complex for a rinse off before swimming in the pool. Early mornings we watched the outrigger clubs rowing; in the evening we watched the stars and planets. The sounds of the surf was calming (unless it caught me off guard and startled me!). I enjoyed the vintage B&W photographs of past surfers and related Hawaiian decor. The AC worked flawlessly! It’s a comfortable unit and the upgraded cooling system installed in the buildings is a delightful upgrade. There’s no street noise and this condo unit is well equipped for daily use. It contained everything we needed, and we enjoyed the time we spent, and if we return to Maui we would stay like to stay here again.

A great stay!

Lovely, clean and well-stocked condo. Beautiful view with the sound of the waves crashing the only real noise we heard-other than roosters crowing!. Sunsets from the lanai were spectacular. Really glad we chose Sugar Beach area—was central to everything we wanted to do. Would definitely stay at the condo again!

A Little Bit of Heaven on Sugar Beach

We came to Maui to celebrate our 25th Anniversary and it was a little piece of heaven. The condo was extremely clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The views are AMAZING and the sunsets were perfect for our trip. We did various tours… Road to Hana, Sunset Dinner Cruise, Maui Nui Luau, Island hopped to tour Pearl Harbor, and visited several beautiful beaches. Amazing Stay

This is our second time booking this unit and we were more than satisfied with our stay again. The unit is very nice and is well maintained. The unit has an Amazing view of the Ocean. The Lanai is spacious and we used it often daily for our coffee/breakfast or dinners. The property is also located minutes from all necessities. We will come back. Thank you Doreen!!

Amazing condo and location

The view couldn't get any better! Each morning we'd wake up and watch Outriggers practice while eating breakfast, and then catch the sunset from the lanai at night. The kitchen is well stocked with all the essentials you'd need to cook; there are even glass Tupperware containers which were great for day trips so items would not get smashed, and stayed cold in the cooler and ice packs that were also provided. We were very happy there was a king bed as my (now) fiancé is very tall - he proposed on Wailea beach at sunset during our stay :-) We would absolutely stay at this location again!

Amazing view!

This is our third time staying at the Sugar Brach Resort. We absolutely loved our unit and the incredible view. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. The unit itself had all the amenities you would need. We will definitely be renting this unit again. Thank you Doreen!!

Paradise at Sugar Beach Resort

We very much enjoyed staying in this well equipped condo with a beautiful panoramic ocean front view. The condo is located right on the beach with unobstructive views of the beach and ocean. So lovely to wake up each morning to look out at the boats moored in the bay and see the outrigger canoes on the water. The beach is excellent for walking at Sugar Beach Resort. The pool area was lovely and there were always enough lounge chairs whether it be by the pool or on the grass area overlooking the beach. The condo has everything you could want for a stay. We were there a month and found plenty of dishes and glassware as well as cooking utensils. The bed was very comfortable and the shutters on the bedroom window provided great light control so we were never woken early by light coming in the room. Shower was excellent, lots of hot water and there was even shampoo and soap for our use as well as skin lotion and shaving cream. These may have been left by a previous guest but we liked having them. Sugar Beach Resort is well located so that a run into Costco, Walmart or Target only took about 10-15 minutes depending on the time of day. We liked staying at the less busy end of Kihei. The south end is way too busy all the time so we enjoyed the peaceful area of North Kihei Road. We would suggest a car rental is needed as there are no grocery stores or restaurants near Sugar Beach Resort except for the small sandwich shop located in the resort. Highly recommend this unit!

Great spot

Our first time in Maui and came early ahead of a business related trip. Booked this spot for the first four days and loved it. Easy to find, easy drive from the airport. The unit was extremely clean and comfortable with a great view of the ocean. Steps from the pool and the beach too. We had a rental car which made a big difference for shopping and seeing the sites. Host was great and answered the couple questions we had very quickly. We woudl definitely stay here again. You can’t go wrong with this soot.

A Slice of Paradise

The condo was exactly like the description and pictures. However, the view was much much better than advertised! Needed help with lock and Lucy was very helpful! Clean, well stocked and furnished. The amenities around the property (pool, chairs, beach and grassy area) were all great! In fact we extended our trip one night and stayed at the Wailea Beach Resort, the entire time we kept saying how much we missed Sugar Beach and it’s quietness. Made friends at Dina’s SandWitch shop on property as well! Great spot! All in all would highly recommend and look forward to rebooking next year! Thanks Doreen and Lucy!!!

Incredible location and views!

This property was perfect for us! The view from the balcony is stunning! Sunsets! Absolutely spotless and clean, everything you need. The entire property is also awesome! Great beach, pool, and sandwich shop. I highly reccomend this property!
