Fantastic family holiday home

We had a wonderful two weeks in the peaceful hamlet of Ukanc, next to lake Bohinj. The house was perfect for our needs - clean, spacious and well equipped, with a nice garden full of birdsong, and all just a short stroll from the lake shore. We spent many happy hours swimming, kayaking, hiking and running round the lake, and many more relaxing at the house. A perfect destination for active adults or families.

Schöner Sommer an Sloweniens Seen

Ein schönes Ferienhaus für uns als Familie zu sechst. Gute Lage mit 10 Minuten Gehweg zum Wocheiner See (bei heißem Wetter herrlich erfrischend zum Baden). Einige Highlights in der Umgebung zum Wandern. Einzig getrübt wurde der Aufenthalt durch ein defektes Fenster, das sich nicht öffnen ließ in einem Schlafzimmer (sollte dringend ausgetauscht werden wegen Frischluft). Uns wurde prompt als Hilfe ein Ventilator gebracht.

Schöne Ferientage am Wocheiner See

Wir haben hier einige sehr schöne Ferientage verbracht. Hervorzuheben ist vor allem die schöne Lage, ruhig aber fußläufig nur ein paar Minuten vom See entfernt. Wir kommen gerne wieder

Wandern, Baden, Entspannen

Toller Ausgangspunkt für eine fünfköpfige Familie zum Wandern, Baden im See (der See ist herrlich, obwohl wir recht gemischtes Wetter hatten) oder einfach nur zum Zusammensein. Geräumig und gemütlich, einzig die Küche ist ein wenig zu klein, sehr ruhige Lage. Wir haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen.

Wir waren mit Freunden und unseren Kindern in dieser Unterkunft. Alles sauber und top Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen und Besuche in Bled oder Ljubljana mit dem Auto.

Sehr sauberes Haus in toller Lage. Einzig Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind insbesondere am WE begrenzt. Aber das wussten wir vorher.

Idyllisches Haus im Wald mit Bergen und See

Nettes Haus mit allem was man braucht. Der Weg zum See und zur Bergbahn ist kurz, um die Ecke gibt es ein gutes Restaurant und einen Campingplatz mit Restaurant, Brötchen und Gemüsehändler. Alles Fußläufig zu erreichen. Wir können für einen entspannten Urlaub mitten in der Natur und ab vom Massentourismus empfehlen.

Ukanc 22

Very nice house and we had a really enjoyable stay. Superb area. The only criticism I have is that some of the equipment didn’t meet the overall standard of the house. For example not enough glasses, bowls chipped, only one small towel each. One of the beds collapsed within 5 minutes of laying on it on the first night which meant it couldn’t be used that night but the property manager acted quickly to ensure that it was sorted out the next day. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Hello, Thanks for the 5 stars. There should have been additional glasses but I believe in the dining area cupboard not in kitchen as space is limited, we will look into chipped bowls as we added 6 new ones this rental season. Cleaner says she left one large towel and one small towel per person? Sorry about the bed obviously this was out of our control but as you kindly say we were there the same day of reporting and fixed it. Really Glad you had a good time and enjoyed the house and area.

Kommen gerne wieder

Wir, sowie auch unser kleiner Hund, haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Sehr schönes Haus und eine wundervolle Landschaft. Nicht weit zum See über den kleinen Schleichweg vom Garten aus der auch an einer Gaststätte vorbei führt.

Wunderschöne Gegend!

+ Einrichtung ist modern und sehr stylisch + Haus ist sehr sauber + Ausstattung ist sehr gut, im Haus allgemein und in der Küche + super Lage, ca. 10-15 Minuten Fußweg zum See, 2 Minuten zu einem Restaurant - im Haus und auf der Terasse riecht es oft unangenehm (nach Heizöl und modrig) - Bad im Keller kaum benutzbar wegen des Geruchs - Steckdosen sollten mal überprüft werden

We had an amazing week in this house. The house was clean and fully equipped and the beautiful lake Bohinj is a couple of minutes walking from the house. We hope to come back some day!

Belle maison dans un magnifique parc national.

Nous avons passé 2 semaines magnifiques dans cette maison très fonctionnelle et agréable. La nature environnante invite à la balade et au repos. Malheureusement le calme et la tranquillité du lieu ont été gâchés par le bruit des marteaux-piqueurs et des pelles mécaniques du chantier voisin. Le restaurant Don Andro tout proche de la maison est très bien. H et V

SPACIOUS COSY LODGE

As a family of 5 adults, we had a wonderful stay in this beautiful cottage 5th January to 13 January. We intended to ski only but there was so much more to do in the area. The lake is only a 2 minute walk from the back garden. Lake Bled is 40 minutes by public bus and fun. This is a very scenic quiet area. The walk to the gondola is 8 minutes. The accommodation is lovely, immaculate and with very well equipped. The sauna and log burner is a welcome addition to this lovely cottage after a day walking, sightseeing and skiing. Very spacious and would definitely like to return for a summer activities based holiday.

Lovely holiday cottage in a fantastic location

A lovely holiday cottage. Just as described in the listing, warm, tastefully decorated and well equipped. We visited for skiing at Vogel, and the location just a short walk from the cable car station was perfect. But the proximity to the lake and the nearby Savica waterfalls would make it a great place to stay at other times of year. The staff at Slovenia estates were helpful and efficient in arranging the rental. We'd like to say thank you for a lovely stay.

We, two adults and two children, one 18 month and one 8 years old wanted to have a flexible but calm vacation in winter. The house is situated ideal. Just 500 meters far from the ropeway to the skiresort Vogel, behind the house the beginning of lovely walking tours towards the waterfalls and the Triglav Park. And in the house all you need for feeling home. It is ideal when you have children, because there are separate bedrooms and everyone can have its privacy, when needed. Kitchen is lovely and inviting for cooking. Yes, we tasted it in winter and we desided it is so nice, we want try again in summer for walking through the mountains.

Perfect vacation in a perfect house

We stayed at this house for almost a week with our 2 kids and we really enjoyed it! First the location is perfect - the house has a perfect location near the Bohinj lake - we traveled to an amazing sight seeing (like Savica waterfall) walking from home! Second the house is so beautiful, clean and well equipped. The backyard is amazing and peaceful. We really loved staying in this house and enjoyed all its facilities. And last but not least - the stuff who keeps this house were great. We didn't need them a lot because everything was perfect - but they were all so kind to us and kept telling us that we can contact them anytime if there's anything we'd need.
