This sweet little cottage was comfortable and exactly what we needed. Long days of exploring the surrounding area,(okay getting lost)made our sweet little cottage a beacon of comfort. Anne Pilkington is an excellent hostess. Highly recommend!

Beautiful location with incredible views. Very comfortable home with everything you need. Hosts were generous and kind, even bringing us to see their amazing farm. It is a truly magical place. We would love to return some day.

What a great choice we made staying in Fanore at Anne Pilkington’s cottage! This was a great base for our touring plans and allowed us to spend time learning about the history of the area through Anne and John’s Burren Mountain Tour. Our cottage was very clean, organized, and easy to access. It also allowed for privacy and a true vacation feel.

An excellent cottage ideal for our needs. Perfect location for touring the west coast of Ireland. Very kid friendly. Anne was very helpful and responsive.

Anne is amazing to work with. We had some check in hiccups but she was super response solved our problems pronto. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

Great location!

Quiet, peaceful location in Fanore close to hiking trails, mountains and the beach! And cows grazing in the field behind the cottage. Wonderful stay!

Fanore Cottages

We had a great stay at Fanore Holiday Cottages. Great and beautiful location, cozy house, the kitchen has everything needed to prepare meals. We would definitely stay there again!

A wonderful place for a family!

This lovely rustic cottage was a perfect spot for a 3-generation trip to the beautiful Burren area. Lots of space for kids, parents, and grandparents to sleep and all the amenities needed to take care of little kiddos (kitchen, washing machine, bath, etc).

Good Location - Nice property

Great views of the Burren and ocean. 1 km to Fanore beach. Property is clean and comfortable. Ann is a delightful host.

Quiet and Cozy

We had a great stay in the cottage despite the storm that came in with Kathleen. The fire place and turf was appreciated to keep the place cozy.

Magical

Wonderful visit- surrounded by animals, ocean, fields, rainbows and the Burren. Real, authentic Ireland. Perfect for our family of 4! Cannot wait to return.

Loved our time in Fanore

The cottage was everything we wanted for our stay. It is clean and comfortable. Anne was great! She made certain we had everything we needed. It was a perfect place to unwind after a day of sightseeing.

Wonderful stay in the Burren

We had a wonderful time visiting the Burren and seeing a bit of County Clare. The cottage is a great base for exploring the area. Our only regret is not having more time. We’ll definitely be back!

Great little house in small area with no noise

You can see the ocean from the house and it is in a great location. Many things to see within a few miles. The house is well done and everything is new.

Very relaxing stay with a great host

We had a wonderful stay, felt welcome and warmly looked after by Anne at all times. The house is in a quiet location, so we were able to relax very well. We can absolutely confirm the friendliness that the Irish are said to be. Thank you for the wonderful time. We'd love to come back.

A Charming Cottage

It was a nice and interesting week in a real charming cottage for my son and me. Anne gives us a friendly welcome and even if the weather was bad, we felt good in this comfortable house.

Peaceful and Beautiful Location

Anne was a great host and our family thoroughly enjoyed her rustic cottage with the yard and views! We enjoyed seeing the hares and fox(es) in the back meadow, the sunset and view of the ocean. It was so peaceful at night and we enjoyed the peat fire on the cold evenings. Thank you, again!
