This little private Ranch Cottage is a charmer! Freeway close on a dead end country road you’ll find a lovely farm setting with friendly animals nearby. This studio has a sleeping loft as well, with air mattress and twin futon for sleeping options. Ground floor has a deluxe queen bed, fold out futon, complete kitchen, free WiFi, flat screen tv, full bathroom, and a cedar deck with lounge chairs, swing seat, and a charcoal grill.

The Ranch Cottage was one of my all-time favorite rentals. The cottage was charming and well-stocked. Pam was always responsive to any questions we had. We loved hanging out with the alpacas and chickens. I would definitely stay here again.

Cozy cottage with everything needed for comfortable stay. Private deck with views of the Alpacas, chickens and duck made for an entertaining evening with our Australian Shepard who made some new friends

The place was very clean and cozy. The animals were fun to feed. The host provided a bottle of wine, farm fresh eggs, snacks, and a bottle of water in the fridge. Only complaint was the TV was not working.set up for any channels to watch. You would need apps of your own to watch anything.

Loved the animals and fire pit. Ranch cottage has a warm cozy atmosphere inside. It was nice this place made it to where we could travel with our dogs as well! We definitely enjoyed our time there!

Very clean and well-supplied. The alpacas and chickens were mostly quiet and they were very well behaved. It is easy to find and was convenient to places we worked and places we wanted to explore. We would definitely stay there again.

Our host, Pam, was very easy to communicate with. We are so happy we chose this location instead of a hotel room. No one running overhead or constant noise. It was so peaceful sitting out on the deck each night and being able to watch the animals. The alpacas were a fun bunch to feed treats to. The chickens, ducks, and geese enjoyed our food scraps. Each day we also saw deer, and leaving early one morning we slowed down to let a skunk cross the road! We love the country life.The room itself is roomy and very comfortable. Pam thought of everything! This cottage is fully equipped, including cooking supplies, coffee and tea, and snacks, and everything you need in the bathroom, too! And the chicken decor is great. I also have chickens, and I'm a rustic style country girl so it was like home for me. We look forward to staying here again when in the area.

What a lovely little gem this cottage is! Comfy and well stocked; there were even snacks, wine and fresh eggs in the refrigerator when we arrived. I would definitely stay here again!

Great

Cottage was perfect 2 night stay for wife and I. Very clean and cozy, Llamas and Chickens outside entry door relatively peaceful. Complimentary eggs, wine and bottled water with equipped kitchen. Good central location for day tripping.

Great studio space for 2 adults

Very cute llamas across the fence as well as chickens and geese. Easy to get to on the north end of Fortuna and very close to 101. Quiet neighborhood.

Secluded and Charming

This was exactly what we were looking for in a getaway. It’s off the “beaten path” so-to-speak, and it was very cozy and welcoming. Waking up to the alpacas and chickens was a real treat, and the fresh eggs were amazing! Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a homey, relaxing getaway.

Seeing the redwoods

Great, quiet getaway. Fun to talk to the alpacas and watch the chickens and ducks. Short drive to the redwoods. Owner was very responsive via text when we needed something.

Perfect stop!

Cute little cottage with everything needed for a short stay. Kids had lots of fun seeing the chickens and feeding the alpacas. Campfire kit was perfect. Very short drive from the highway yet feels like it is super secluded. Kids are asking to go back again already. Thanks!

Heat Escape

We left a heatwave and came here for a couple days. It was very comfortable and everything we needed in the kitchen was available. The farmhouse vibe sharing space with the llamas and chickens was extra special.

Cozy quiet cottage

My son and I really enjoyed our stay at that ranch cottage. My son especially enjoyed the alpacas and that may have been his favorite part of our whole vacation! Pam was very helpful and kind and the cottage was clean with every thing we needed, even extras! We will be back next time we come through!
