Discover this hidden, pet friendly, gem in Huntingdon County — a peaceful cabin tucked in the woods and surrounded by forest and pipelines on three sides. It’s an incredibly private retreat with outdoor spaces that guests consistently rave about.

Outdoor Spaces
The covered porch is the heart of the property and the most-loved feature. Rain or shine, day or night, it’s a tranquil place to relax. Twinkle lights, a fairy tree, wind chimes, and plenty of seating create a magical atmosphere perfect for making memories.
You’ll also enjoy a fire pit for campfires and marshmallow roasting, plus ample outdoor dining space.

The Cabin & Bunkhouse
This 2,200 sq ft cabin, along with the nearby bunkhouse, offers a warm and welcoming escape for your vacation or weekend getaway. You’ll be just 20 minutes from Raystown Lake, 20 minutes from Juniata College, and 10 minutes from 1,000 Steps and downtown Huntingdon — plenty to explore.

A wonderfully maintained, secluded cabin in the woods. Absolutely lovely. Close to many outdoor activities. The owners are incredibly responsive and really care about their guests experience. We will continue to look forward to our yearly vacation at this location.

Walked into a very clean, well stocked cabin. This cabin has absolutely everything you could need for your stay. The covered porch was so cute with all of the lighting, they even included citronella candles to keep the bugs away! We would love to come back and stay again in the future!

We had a family of 12 which consisted of 8 adults, 1 teen, 2 kids, a baby and 2 dogs. The cottage was nice and roomy for us all. It was not only family oriented with games, and dvds, but also dog oriented. Melissa (our host) not only had dogs toys, but also dog cushions, bowls and snacks. We enjoyed the calmness of the area and spent our evenings in front of the fire pit. All in all it was a wonderful place and Melissa answered any texts we sent in a very timely manner. If we make it out that way again, we will definitely check to see if the cottage is available. Thank you for the good time.

It was so great to find this wonderful pet friendly cabin so near all the outdoor activities our family and pooch love. Can't wait to come back for a longer stay. The host was superior.

Oh 😢 I have to say I’m disappointed that we got a four star review. We have never had anything but five stars . We added special amenities before your arrival at your request. Items like special cookers, large kettle pots for large groups and other items. Actual the washer and dryer was something you had said you needed so I pushed my husband to add it. (I wanted it too) I did contact you a number of times to make sure everything was good and you responded was everything was perfect and place was beautiful. We work very hard to make sure our guest are extremely pleased. We have actually been told that it is nicer than what people had expected from our online presence. Sorry you didn’t feel we deserved a 5 star review. Safe travels!

Relaxing Getaway

The cabin was cozy. It is in a nice and quiet area which made it relaxing. The rooms are comfortable and we had family stay in the bunkhouse which was nice as well. Good size property and plenty of things to do near by. We had a wonderful time here and would definitely stay again.

This property is located in a quiet peaceful, wooded area. The home is very clean and well equipt. Ajacent to the main house is a bunk house that our granddaughter loves. Property is as the owner describes in the listing. We had an enjoyable stay!!

We didn't hunt, fish, or hike (like everyone else) because this place is so cute and comfy!We also felt quite secure with Lenny the Sasquatch patrolling the perimeter. Loved it!!!

This property (land) has been in our family for over 50 years. We purchased it to build a place for the entire family to "get away from it all" and have space for our dogs to run and play. (We do not charge a pet fee). Sit on the covered porch to kickback, relax with a book and listen to the whispers of the windchimes. Checkout your own small magically fairy garden or hike in the woods to discover the animals of the forest. You may see deer, squirrels, and wild birds of all kinds or on a very rear occasion a racoon, bear or whippoorwill on a moon lit starry night . Time to relax and enjoy your stay by a warm campfire roasting marshmallows.

Luxury Shabby Chic Style. Great water pressure. All new plumbing, fixtures, and amenities in 2024 were updated. Off the beaten path in the woods but, minutes to great attractions, huge lake (Raystown Lake), shopping, large stores, bars, restaurants, Giant Foods, Walmart, Dollar General, Liquor Stores, Beer Distributors, and fast foods are just minutes away. The brand new Dollar General has everything you can think of from coffee and drinks to toilet paper and sunscreen. Stop in it's just past the light on 22 and 829 at the base of the mountain.
