A taste of the Caribbean with a splash of the tropics awaits you in Emerald Isle 906, a Gulf-front 9th floor 2 bedroom with spectacular views of the beach and Gulf - it's the perfect spot from which to watch the Blue Angels precision flight team fly by at eye level!

King bed in master bedroom, queen bed in guest bedroom, and a sleeper sofa in living room. Enjoy coffee and a sunrise on the balcony, accessible from both the living area and master bedroom.

At the end of a sun-soaked day on the beach, there's entertainment for everyone with flat screen TVs (and Netflix) throughout the condo. Enjoy two pools (one heated in the winter), fitness room, and dune walkover to the beach. Emerald Isle is located just .5 miles from the core area of the beach, so within waling distance of most shops and restaurants.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location. The downside was we were down to one elevator most of the week. That meant long waits for the elevator and overcrowding. Most of the outlets were not working properly in the unit. It was like this two years ago.

Nice place.

We enjoy staying at Emerald Isle. This unit was a little dated, and beds weren’t comfortable. The unit appeared to be clean upon arrival. We all moved our shoes at the entry way on the first time we entered the unit and unpacked our belongings bare footed. Within 15 minutes I had sat down for something and looked at the soles of my feet. They were very dirty. The floor was clear of sand but the cleaning crew must have neglected to properly mop that day. We noticed the mop in the laundry closet, it was old and ragged. If the cleaning people used that mop, no wonder the floor wasn’t clean because that mop had seen better days. We ended up sacrificing one of our beach towels to properly wash the floors through out the unit.

Excellent Stay

Quick family trip

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Convenient and walking distance to most activities and restaurants. Clean condo, comfortable. My only complaint was the way parking passes are issued (by qr code) and that the gate code and entry was complicated and didn’t always work.

Has potential

Our stay was enjoyable. The condo had everything we needed for our beach vacation. In fact, there was even a boogie board, inflatable raft, pool noodles, and a bucket/shovel in the laundry area for us to use. The view was amazing! The pool was clean and never too crowded while we were there. However, the beds were not comfortable at all. In fact, the pull out sofa bed was the “most comfortable” bed in the condo which isn’t saying much. The master bedroom’s mattress was very thin and very loud every time you roll over. The second bedroom’s queen bed was as hard as a rock. The condo was definitely showing signs of age and needed some updates. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, just wish we could have slept a little more comfortably.

Updating and refresh needed

Great Location, Great View,... Cleanliness, Not So Great

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a room with a Great view and Great location. We were pleased with the newer living room furniture. However the condo was not very clean. We had dirty dishes in the cabinets. The floors were not clean. The shower in the guest bathroom did not drain well, therefore the tub was dirty. The toilet in the guest bathroom was dripping the entire time we were there.

Loved It

We loved the property. Dishes and flatware were dirty in the cupboards and drawers but the closing rules state to clean the dishes and put them away. We suspect that previous guests put them away dirty and housekeeping didn’t notice. We washed them so it was no big deal. Some of the electrical outlets were not working. The bed is starting to wear out but still very comfortable. The property could use some updating but nothing would keep us from not going back. In fact, we arrived on Sunday. On Monday when discussing next year my husband said there was nothing to discuss. We both loved the property and already have plans to stay there next year. Management was notified of the very minimal issues and were going to address them.

Gulf View Condo

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Would not stay in the condo again. It could be such a nice place but everything is just rinky-dink. The inside furniture was uncomfortable and old. The bedroom dresser drawers wouldn't close. Dishes and plates all mismatched. You had to be a gorilla to open the front door. Many lightbulbs were out. The curtains were uneven and cheap. The refrigerator drawers all were broken, we were afraid to use them. Even the outside chairs were weird. Two chairs high and 2 chairs low. Very cheap. The best thing was "Of Course" the view. We have rented in this building for 4 years. This one was our least favorite. Sorry for the negative remarks. A little TLC could make this a great unit. Hope the owners wake up and get it right.

Location is great

The condo, the building, and the pools were clean. We were disappointed to find that the oven did not work. We reported the outage. They brought us a convection oven to use for the rest of our stay. We noticed ants in the kitchen. I bought ant spray and this seemed to help. I reported this also. They said they’d send someone to spray. I noticed the yellow chair that others mentioned is still there. We used it and it was fine. The coffee pot needs to be replaced. It is very old. Overall we had a great vacation.

Home away from Home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It's always nice to be back at Emerald Isle. We have stayed here for the last 10+ years. We stay in different condos each time to get different experiences to we can someday make PB our home. We have family in PB so our time here is always nice. However, this visit was probably the least favorite of all our trips. At no fault of the Beach but the winds were high and the surf was the roughest we have experienced. It took away from some of the activities we had planned.
