Location:
Private home located on the banks of the French Broad River. You are approximately 7 minutes to downtown Marshall and 15-20 minutes to Weaverville or Mars Hill. You are also approximately 35 minutes from downtown Asheville, 45 minutes to the Biltmore Estate, & less than 1 hour to the Asheville Regional Airport. The home is easily accessed via paved and fully maintained roads, right up to the private parking area. 4-wheel drive is NOT required, and the property can be easily accessed by any car, motorcycle, truck, or RV. The French Broad Cabin is conveniently located right on Little Pine Rd for easy access, and the fire pit is directly across the road from the house on the French Broad River and firewood is provided.

While at the newly built French Broad Chalet, everyone enjoys all that it has to offer, including the spectacular front porch, where you can pull up a rocking chair and take in the "sound of rushing water" and observe the night as it fills with stars, and watch the fireflies come out to play in your backyard. Other seasonal activities nearby include motorcycle touring, biking, hiking, white water rafting, rock climbing, fishing, falconry and clay pigeon shooting, kayaking, canoeing, zip lining, horseback riding & ATV (handicap friendly)…just about any outdoor activity! Weddings/Events: Small weddings/events are allowed at this property for up to 30 guests**. There would be an additional fee for this that would be determined based on the number of guests that you anticipate hosting. The Event Fee is in addition to normal rental fees.
