Awesome 4-bedroom house near the surf beach
We were 3 couples and a baby staying at this lovely house for 11 days. Really loved the place, it's much bigger than it looked on the photos. Besides 4 bedrooms there's a huge living room, a kitchen, terrace area with furniture, rooftop chilling area and washing area to do laundry. Another great extra is that it feels more like a home than a rental. There are a lot of small items that you don't take to your trip but might need (a lot of pots & pans, spices, flashlights, medical kit, plug converters, tens of towels and the list goes on...)
We really loved the local beach 5 min walk from the house. It's perfect for beginners surfers or just jumping in the waves and there are SO MANY turtles swimming around and sticking their head out of water everywhere around you.
We didn't have a car and only rented it for 1 day to drive around a bit. A car would make it more convenient to go to supermarket, restaurant or to the capital town but it's also doable without. The Oistins fish market is about 1.5-2km from the house and the surpermarket is also there, so you need to take a 3-4km walk to the supermarket and back. For us it was ok, but it might be too long distance to walk for some.
Communication with the owner was great and I would definitely recommend staying at Sea La Vie, especially if you just wanna chill, swim and surf. We visited some other beaches, but the one next to the house was definitely our favourite one.
