Wake up to that clean, crisp mountain air surrounded by ten lush acres. The home is eclectic, yet cozy and flooded with natural light. Our cabin is a modern 2,400 square foot, eco-friendly log home, with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and ample living spaces, perfect for a large family retreat or intimate getaway.

Amazing house

Great house. Much thought and money went into the house, the furnishings and back yard/front yard. The property was better than we expected. Just the highlights: awesome fireplace, all bulbs in the house were in working condition (extremely rare occurrence/very important for me personally), turntable with old vinyl records, ring thermostats all over the house, various welcome goodies, kitchen set up for cooking with all spices/oil/salt/sugar you need. Nice that the snow was cleaned after the snow storm.

4 Generation Thanksgiving

Our family of 8 had an amazing time at this beautiful spacious 'cabin'. Everything we needed was available for our stay, and both the children and the adults enjoyed all the amenities. Thanksgiving dinner was spent around the dining table, chess was played by the wood stove in the living room, the kids enjoyed playing nock-hockey & foosball & video games in the basement, and we all enjoyed the light and warmth of the stone fireplace of the Great Room. The beds were comfortable, the showers were hot, and the grounds were lovely. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Came for the wedding, turned into a Catskills vacation

This home is really beautiful. Very clean with everything we needed aside from some groceries. There were fireflies at night. Hummingbirds at the bee balm by the deck. Cool night air. It was perfect. Seems like the perfect place for a group coming to the Catskills for a weekend ski vacation as well! Loved it.

Another Amazing Stay!

We had another amazing extended weekend stay! We hiked, skiied, snow tubed (Plattekill) and enjoyed the beautiful house with much time spent in front of the fireplace. We had delicious meals at Chappie's and visited the new Grocery store in town, which was a welcome addition. The house was clean and comfortable and welcoming and we cannot wait to return!

Our favorite getaway in the Catskills

This was our third time to stay here, and we loved every minute. The great room with the fireplace and big windows is our favorite spot in the house. We’ll be back.

Perfect Thanksgiving Family Getaway

The Secret Catskill Cabin was everything that we expected, and more. Beautiful and serene setting of the cabin; keen attention to every detail; fully equipped kitchen to handle the needs of our group of 8 adults and two kids. Our kids loved the basement which had a video game and a foosball table. Gorgeous view out of the glass wall in the grand room was the highlight. Outdoor fire pit and seating was great to accommodate all of us. A turntable and record collection in the kitchen/dining area was a nice touch. Overall a 10/10. Would love to come back again next year.

Amazing house

My husband and I stayed here for 5 days. The house is beautiful, clean and equipped with everything you would need to be comfortable. It was a perfect relaxing retreat!

Private, Pup Friendly Cabin in the Woods

We spent three nights in this private and beautiful cabin, and we left wishing we had stayed for just one more. When we weren't hiking some excellent nearby trails, we were at the cabin, which is cozy both inside and out. The place is very private, with no other homes visible from the cabin, and there are many places to relax and read; the grand front room, the mid-room, a comfortable nook upstairs, a couple of outdoor porches - covered and uncovered - and of course the chairs by the firepit outside. We used them all. Happiest of all was our pup, a city dog who was thrilled to be let out the side door unleased, free to roam the surrounding woods for hours. We would certainly stay here again.

A Fabulous Getaway in the Northern Catskills

We were completely delighted with our long weekend stay at this lovely, comfortable and fabulously equipped house in the woods. While our getaway from the city was aimed at spending time in the outdoors of the northern Catskills, it was hard to pull ourselves away from that glorious living area. (We did, however get out and enjoy the beautiful countryside, small towns, and mountains as well.)

Amazing home, stunning location

We had an absolutely amazing time! The home is gorgeous, comfortable, spacious and cozy! The location offers great access to Platekill as well as to hiking trails and the adorable village of Roxbury. Chappies was one of our favorite restaurant in the village. We enjoyed the sun soaked great room, relaxed in front of the fireplace, cooked amazing meals and we're in awe of the scenery and wildlife. The house has everything you need to have an incredible stay. Property manager was responsive and helpful. House was so clean, I would describe as pristine! We look forward to returning again!

Another fabulous stay at the Secret Catskills Cabin

We love this place. It's totally secluded on top of a mountain, but still only a 5-minute drive to Roxbury for dinner. The great room is the best part of the house, and where we spend most of our time. On this visit we got to watch a few deer amble by in the woods just outside the big picture windows.

Perfect weekend

Stayed here for a book club weekend with friends - such a perfect setting, great spaces, everything was just as listed. And we had great weather too! Very easy logistics with the booking, entry and departure. Kind thoughtful hosts - highly recommend to anyone looking for quiet time with friends and/or family!

Wonderful cabin

This beautiful cabin sits on a mountain top at the end of the road and far from the world. The Great Room is the place to be, with enormous windows that overlook the woods. Porches on either side of the house provide lots of room for visiting with friends or just enjoying the sounds of silence. The entire area is gorgeous and full of winding streams and pleasant valleys. Not to be missed.

A True Gem

We loved our stay in this beautiful, warm and inviting home - very happy and thankful to have stayed here. Close enough to skiing while also tucked away in a beautifully wooded area. Dog friendly and super clean. Very comfy bedding and amazing fireplace (and wood burning stove). Loved the records too!

Lovely and spacious cabin in the woods

A perfect place for our family/relatives to spend New Year's. We enjoyed many evenings in front of the amazing fireplace, playing boardgames and relaxing. The home is nicely furnished and the kitchen and bathrooms well stocked. Having such a large entryway mudroom/foyer where we could throw our coats and boots and anything else was really convenient. Great location that feels really secluded but close to many conveniences. Communication with the hosts was quick. Highly recommended.

Great Catskills experience

Had a great time with friends staying at your cabin. Clean, modern, comfortable and big enough for 7 adults in almost any room of the house. Terri couldn’t have been friendlier or a better host. Just an amazing experience. Highly recommended!!

5 stars - the most perfect cabin

We had the best getaway at the "Secret Catskill Cabin". The cabin & property were meticulous, everything we needed was provided. Beds were very comfy & linens/towels were top of the line. I was working remote & the WiFi signal was super strong, but there is absolutely no cell service (we have Verizon). Terri was easy to communicate with prior to our trip & even checked in to make sure there was nothing we needed. She provided a ton of recommendations for activities, shopping & dining, just wish we had more time to experience all the area has to offer! Would highly recommend staying here and we cannot wait to come back!

Perfect Getaway from NYC

We headed up to Roxbury to get a little break ofter months in a cramped NYC apartment - and we could not have found a better cozy winter getaway! The amazing cabin offered breathtaking views of snowy mountains and friendly deer that came to visit daily. The place was not only impeccable, but was also conveniently stocked with anything/everything we could ever need! Terri was a wonderful host and made sure we enjoyed our stay - and answered any questions we had while onsite extremely quickly. We will definitely look to visit again sometime soon!

The best!

We had a blast at this house surrounded by winter wonderland. We enjoyed games and puzzles by the fire, vintage records on the record player, and playing in the snow outside. Everything was super easy and many thoughtful touches. Everything was at our fingertips, including snacks, coffee, and hot chocolate. Cozy beds and refreshing warm showers. We skied Plattekill and Belleayre, which were both not crowded on weekdays and good about covid restrictions. We also enjoyed a snowy hike with our dog at Minekill Falls. The house was amazing - hard to think of any ways to make it better!
