Great stay

We were made to feel so welcome at The Oaks by the lovely hosts.The accommodation is beautifully decorated, cosy and spotlessly clean and set in an amazing garden. Highly recommend and hope to return again.

Lovely stay

Emma was a lovely host. The cottage was comfortable, clean and a perfect location for exploring Sussex. We loved the sheep and deer in the fields nearby.

Emma's place was perfect. Relaxing, clean, quiet...a great way to be close to things while connecting with nature. Hosts were super responsive and never intrusive.

Lovely place

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was very clean and well-equipped and, despite the high temperatures outside, not too hot. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful.

Who would have thought it possible to find such a gem so close to Gatwick, Horsham, South Downs, the list is endless.The apartment I stayed in was better than 5 star. Clean, well equipped, windows letting in plenty of natural light. A wonderful balcony giving you the feeling of being in the tree tops. My neighbours were very friendly (a few chickens) watching the rabbits in the early in the morning with a cuppa was a joy. The hosts were so welcoming wanting to share their delightful garden with guests.I plan to go back.

What a beautiful property, inside and out! The host / owner was incredibly nice, responsive and helpful. Serene atmosphere, calm & quiet stay, and the animals shown in the pictures are right out back! For colder months, the radiator heating was more than enough. If you'll need access to commerce (stores, restaurants, etc), I'd suggest having a car. Very highly recommend this property, and I look forward to staying again!

Lovely little place close to London

We‘ve had a wonderful stay. There is just one tiny thing, walking short distances is not possible in the area outside of Horsham.

Garden View

A lovely, first floor annex with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The small balcony and windows in every room give views of the garden, and the wonderful trees that surround the property. A peaceful retreat for any traveller.

Lovely Apartment

Lovely, quiet area. Only suggestion would be to clearly state that this is an upstairs appartment. We are in our 70's and we had to be careful going up and down. Emma was a very gracious host!

Short but sweet stay

We had a quick one night stay with an early departure to catch our flight back to Canada. We enjoyed a walk around the grounds, dinner at the pub down the street and a quiet night in. Emma was very easy to communicate with and helped us quickly with anything we needed. We enjoyed the sound of the birds in the morning. The sitting area is large but the minimal furniture made it a little hard to get comfortable, but overall a lovely stay with the English country charm we were looking for.

A Superb Week in Sunny Sussex

We very much enjoyed our stay in the beautiful setting in the Sussex countryside just outside of the fabulous market town of Horsham. It’s a very spacious apartment nicely decorated and comfortable. Emma the host was always on hand if we needed anything but we didn’t as it was just perfect. We thoroughly recommend this property and its beautiful grounds. We were sorry to leave but will definitely be back.
