Enjoy the lower level of our charming home nestled on the banks of the Rock River. Spectacular natural light with gorgeous views. Located in a quiet cul de sac, this space offers serene views of the water through two triple patio doors of the spacious living area. The gas fireplace adds to the coziness. Come and go as you please with a separate, private, locked entrance.
The kitchenette, daybed and entertainment options (ping pong, air hockey, darts, bag toss, board games) compliment the relaxing, cozy space. A hot tub is available for use with prior approval.

We are located 50 minutes from downtown Milwaukee and 40 minutes from Madison and within 20 minutes to Lake Country. We are 5 minutes from Luther Preparatory School, 15 minutes from Johnson Creek Premium Outlet Shops, and 12 minutes from Maranatha Baptist University.

Weekend Visit w/ Family

Beautiful home, wonderful homeowners and were very kind and helpful. Definitely would stay again!

The river was beautiful and had many places to go explore. There was a nice patio area under their deck with shade and very comfortable seating that we enjoyed throughout the day. We loved our stay!!

We enjoy sharing our home with families. Jaidyn and her family were a pleasure to host. It was fun to have them experience activities like paddleboarding and kayaking. They are welcome back any time!

Easter weekend

It was a very peaceful spot to enjoy the river and the town of Watertown. Close to Oconomowoc and access to the Rock River.

Perfect little setting on the river

Our stay was wonderful. Clean, cozy and the owners were very accommodating, we will surely be visiting again when we are in town. Perfect find, don't pass it up if you are in need of a place to stay while in Watertown. MJ and Andy thank you very much.

Quiet retreat

We volunteered at the Women’s US Open at Erin Hills and this property was a quick 30 drive on beautiful traffic-free country roads. When we returned from a long day on the course Rock River Haven was a restful spot.

Quiet, relaxing, great view

The hosts were super friendly and welcoming. The property is beautiful and right on the river. We enjoyed the quiet relaxation of being right on the river and evenings in the hot tub. There was also plenty of activities to do such as kayaking, ping pong and darts. Very close to downtown Watertown as well.

Great getaway

We enjoyed the outdoor space looking over the river. Very peaceful. We also got to borrow a kayak and venture up the river a little bit before floating back home. Communication with host was easy and helpful. Toaster oven and mini fridge/freezer worked well for our needs. Thanks for the nice stay.

Enjoyed our stay. Owner was very responsive. Our only issue was looking for lockbox in checkin directions which wasn’t there and wasn’t needed.

Gem on the River

We really loved the location on the east side of Watertown. A beautiful setting right on the river. Wonderful mature trees. Nicely landscaped with all kinds of flowers. The huge patio is great for relaxing on the nice patio furniture. The accommodations are great. Very comfortable bed. MJ and Andy were very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. We will be back many times in the future.

Hidden Gem

The view of the river is amazing. The property is beautiful and it is very easy to access the town. The accommodations were lovely and comfortable. It is a must stay place and a great get away spot.

This is our 2nd year in a row that we’ve stayed here. We came for our yearly family reunion. We have family that lives in Watertown and this is the perfect location. We highly recommend staying here.

Great Host and Property

Host was friendly, property was immaculate, and stay was pleasurable. Everything you need for a great vacation. Only thing to consider is that the fridge is a mini-fridge and dock wasn’t installed (though this is likely a seasonal thing and may not be applicable to you), but still was able to cook and fish successfully. Highly recommended!
