Desert bliss

Incredible property, incredibly easy check in process. It was so nice just sitting by the pool and enjoying the views. Even though it was over 100 degrees, there is ample shade on the property, A/C, and a pool. I barely noticed the blistering heat. 10/10 would recommend

Amazing Getaway!

This place was more beautiful in person. We happen to arrive at night, which I don’t recommend bc it is completely dark. Thank goodness for the house manager who was so helpful when I called him to say we were lost. It was a very windy weekend so the internet was not really working. However, the host was very apologetic and offered us a discount on our next stay! The trampoline was fun and the kitchen was unbelievable stocked ! It has everything you need! We will definitely be back.

If you are looking for high end privacy, this is the place in Borrego Springs!

Property was better then the pictures. Kitchen was the most fully loaded kitchen I have been in, and have stayed at over 20 vrbos. Just bring your food. Although, had excellent dinner at Casa Del Zorro. Very easy to work with owners and responded quickly to any issues. A couple of bikes at property for some peaceful riding in area. Property is remote, but we liked the privacy.

BEAUTIFUL PLACE!

My business team had an amazing time as this property. The place was more beautiful in person. The hosts/owners were exceptionally responsive, clear and accommodating throughout the booking process (especially since we had to change our booking dates a couple of times). They were thoughtful and gracious as well. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you Dean and Melissa for creating such a lovely stay!

This home was awesome, it was an excellent weekend to relax and enjoy the property! Stayed here in honor of my father who loved the desert. It did not disappoint! Thank you for a great stay!

Beautiful getaway in the dessert

The hacienda is even better than the pictures. The house has a great layout with two wings and a separate casita with bedrooms. We spent the days by the pool, hiking along the property, and watching the stars. Thank you to the responsive hosts!

lovely perfect desert home

melissa and dean were wonderful hosts. the pictures do not do their beautiful desert home any justice. kitchen is super fantastic and decked out with great appliances, accessories and service ware. beds are very comfortable. i highly recommend this property.

What a place! I have been going to Borrego for 50 years, and have stayed in many places over the years. This was the best of them all.

Loved it!

What an amazing and peaceful place. The house is gorgeous, beds are comfy, (slept 8 adults easily), kitchen is fully stocked, pool is beautiful, and the surrounding land is tranquil. The teepee is super unique and we loved looking for the "house tortoise" every morning. Definitely will stay here again. Thank you Dean!

Quiet Idyllic Hideaway

If you want to get away for some peace and quiet, while relaxing poolside, this is the place to visit. Dean’s property offers stunning views of the valley, Southwestern style adobe architecture and fabulous five-star amenities. I would definitely want to stay here again.

Magazine Life

Everywhere you look it feels like you’re in a magazine. It’s gorgeous. Beds were comfortable with nice sheets and good pillows. They stock with good TP (I hate paying a lot of money for a place with 1-ply). They have every kitchen appliance in the world. The only thing missing from the house is an ice-maker. Had a hiccup once we arrived and the owner was very gracious. He made sure he did everything possible to remedy the situation for us. I was very happy with the home a would Highly recommend it.

An Amazing Property in an Amazing Place!

This home is an incredible place for a secluded desert escape. It was just my wife and I, but the house will easily accommodate 8 adults. The adobe construction and rustic finishes are perfect for the home’s setting, and the authentic tipi is a very cool touch. The backyard pool area was where we spent most of the time, and it was well maintained and sparkling clean. We are already looking for the next time we can come back!

Wonderful Stay

Had an amazing stay with some close friends. We really enjoyed the property and had a great time. It was very hot outside, but the pool was fantastic and the BBQ and kitchen were great if you enjoy cooking. The host was very responsive and very nice. We can't wait to book this house again.

The perfect weekend

This place was nothing short of amazing. The photos don’t do this home justice. The home was spacious and beautiful, and the pool, teepee, trampoline, and axe throwing area provided our party with lots to do. We also got to feed Major, the tortoise on the property! The only minor drawback would be the number of bees in the pool, as a friend was stung. However, I understand you cannot always predict wildlife out in the desert. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to getaway and relax in a fabulous home. Already planning when I can return!

Epic Desert Getaway

Better than advertised. Location in the middle of the desert is surreal, property is beautiful and well appointed (both inside and out), and the host is on point. We will be back.

The best VRBO I've ever stayed in.

I've stayed in vacation rentals around the world; US/Europe/Africa/Australia/Asia/NZ - for what you get this place was simply the best. Incredibly quiet, incredibly stylish, insane views, incredibly comfortable, and very well appointed. J Dean and Melissa were incredible hosts and made sure to check in frequently to ensure we had all we needed.
