Casa Della Neve --"House in the Snow"

Truly a special place! Located at Big Powderhorn Mountain Ski area, Casa Della Neve has a Rustic/Cabin feel with modern amenities. Many living areas have been recently painted and refreshed with new furniture. If you ski, snowboard, snowmobile, ATV or just love the outdoors you will love this location.

This property offers 3 Queen bedrooms (each with it's own bathroom with shower) and a loft with two twin beds, a favorite for the kids. Two of the bedrooms have new beds with memory foam mattresses. Bathrooms have updated showers. We provide a well equipped kitchen, electric sauna, free high speed internet, in cabin phone and Sling TV.

We also have many board games and movies for plenty of family fun. Close to shopping and restaurants. Located only a few blocks from the ski hill main lodge and bar offering live music on weekends. Guests love the wood fireplace in the living room.

This place was great for 3 couples. All 3 bedrooms had their own bathroom plus an extra one upstairs. Kitchen was well stocked. Plenty of room for all of us to dine at the table. Nice deck space. Groomed yard. The house was clean but needs a little love with some minor repairs that are needed. These were communicated directly to the host. He was easy to communicate with and quick to respond. Being that the place has well water, we highly recommend bringing bottled water. We would stay again!

It was a great home, comfy and cozy! It was great to have a bathroom for each bedroom and we enjoyed the sauna and fireplace. We will be back again!

The lodge was perfect for four guys doing a little snowmobiling. The rooms were great with their on-suite bathrooms, and the fireplace was a nice addition at the end of a day of riding! Our host was extremely polite and helpful. We would definitely stay here for our future riding trips!

We had an absolutely wonderful second time stay at Casa Della Neve! We got lucky with so much snow during our stay. This is a wonderful clean home with comfortable bedrooms with private bathrooms. The fireplace and sauna are amazing after a chilly day out. Can’t wait to come back again!

We spent a weekend to ski the ABR trails. Loved that this property is a short drive to the ABR and Woverine trails. We appreciated the fireplace, as there was a power outage in the area for a large part of one day (we were skiing more of the day anyway). Having an indoor sauna and each bedroom with en suite bath is quite lovely. It’s a cabin, so I don’t expect pristine, high end stuff and with the well water, not everything is totally shiny and bright, yet it is clean and comfortable.

It was a great stay

Checkin process was so smooth. Great cabin with all essential facilities. Our whole group really enjoyed the stay and the interior of the unit was great as well. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Had a great stay, location was great just 2 minutes away from the ski hill. The house was clean, comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Would definitely stay again.

Annual trip

This was our second stay at Casa Della Neve. Wonderfully maintained, super clean, spacious, excellent communication with Scott and perfect for annual family trip to the UP! Everything we needed was there. Fire pit & AC a major plus! Can’t wait to stay again next year!!!

Perfect winter house for a cross country ski weekend

We had a group of friends get together for the Sisu Ski Fest races. The house was a perfect size and great location. We really liked being able to enjoy a sauna after skiing!

Winter get away

This is a great property, great location to the ski hill and a short drive to the Porkies. House was well outfitted and clean. Everyone had a nice bedroom and seperate bath, great for a group of adults.

Ski camp 2024

The house was very comfortable, with plenty of space for all. We appreciated the individual bedrooms with bathrooms for each of us. It was conveniently located near the local ski trails.
