We absolutely loved the Jimmy and Sue's place. The property was exactly as advertised, we were so happy with it, the property more than met our expectations. The booking process was super easy and communication with the hosts was prompt. We spent a couple of nights eating in with an Aldi, Lidl and Mercadona supermarkets all within 10mins drive of the property. The property is halfway up a steep hill, which affords a lovely view of the sea from both the bedroom balcony and the patio, but if you had mobility issues, you may want to think twice about this area as all properties have a number of steps leading up to the front door due to the houses being built into the hillside. We were pleased to have a hire car as the property is on the outskirts of the town. However, an Uber would have been no more than 15 euros or you could walk into town along the beach road in around 20/25 mins. There is a massive carpark in the town centre close to the 'Balcon de Europa' so driving in was our preferred way to get to Nerja town centre. There was also a bus stop at the end of the road, but i couldn't tell you how regular the buses would have been.We loved Nerja. It was big enough to have plenty of restaurants to choose from, but small enough not to get lost in. We visited the caves of Nerja and the famous white village of Frigiliana. Both were well worth the visit, but we spent most of our holiday enjoying the sun on the patio loungers and using plunge pool to cool down. I would
