Hi Linda! Thanks so much for the five star review! The view from Villa Paradise is indeed one of the best on the island. Your review will be helpful to other seniors with mobility issues. This is a 3 bedroom 2 bath villa. The master is up on the top level with a private en-suite. The other two bedrooms are on the lower level with a shared bath. The living area, kitchen, dining room, and pool deck are all on the middle level of the Villa. Pictures of the stairs are on display on the website. All beaches in St. Lucia are public, so the Windjammer Beach is always accessible. They just frown on entry through the main gate when the resort is full, due to lack of parking, etc...There is back gate access, however, regardless of occupancy levels. As I said, the beach is always accessible. I’m glad you enjoyed the views of the ships going back-and-forth. And you are correct, you’ll get the occasional party catamaran that likes to play it’s music, but that’s just part of the local experience. So glad you enjoyed the pool! Please come back and visit us anytime. We enjoyed having you as our guests! Kevin

I love your review, Shannon! Thank you! I’ll be sure to share with Esie….it will make her day! This is the first complaint we’ve had about bug bites. Normally, the coastal breeze keeps them away. Bugs are generally not a problem with the waterfront properties for this reason. I just spoke to Esie about this. She did say, at periodic times, bugs can be an issue. This must’ve been one of those weeks where we had an influx. She said this can be common several times a year. But tells me the bugs will leave just as quickly as they arrive. It generally lasts for only for a period of days. We have contacted the pest control company and they will be spraying today. As you mentioned, sleeping quarters are all air-conditioned and can be sealed off from the outside environment. That was very important to me when designing the house, to ensure our guests comfort. Thanks for the excellent review, Steve! We’re so glad you were able to venture out and enjoy the island! Now that COVID protocols are being lifted, it’s super nice to be able to venture over to the Windjammer to visit their restaurants, pool, and beach. It sounds as if you braved the roads with a rental car and visited the north side of the island. Hopefully you were able to visit the Pitons as well, down to the southwest. Hopefully you were able to hop on a boat tour to enjoy the island from the water! That is where it’s true beauty is seen. Esie is a terrific resource for all of our guests. As a lifelong St Lucian, she knows everyone and everything about the island. From fridge filling, chef, and massage services to arranging your tours, she is the go-to. Please tell your family and friends what a great time you had at Villa Paradise and hurry back soon!! Kevin

St. Lucia is doing everything it can to return to “normal” and in many ways is much more open than many cities in the United States.
