We loved staying in Phil's cottage. It was larger than expected and the house stayed lovely and warm despite the cold rainy weather. We also really enjoyed the local pub which was only a few minutes walk from the house and had good food. We would definitely stay again.

Beautiful cottage in a lovely quiet area of the Dales. Clean, well-appointed cottage with everything needed for your stay. Comfy beds, cosy lounge with fire and stunning views over nearby hills. Communication with Phil excellent, very clear instructions and a great host. Highly recommended- we hope to return one day!

Beautiful landscape, quiet town, and quaint cottage. Phil was very helpful and communicated well with us. I would definitely recommend to others wanting an authentic Yorkshire experience!

Beautiful house as a base for exploring the dales. Phil, the host, was hugely helpful, and our family stay was a delight. The house was spotless, linens were high quality, and the bathroom and kitchen had everything thing we needed.When my autistic daughter left one of her favourite toys Phil arranged for it to be posted to her, and we're hugely grateful!!

The house is in a beautiful, peaceful location and is immaculate inside with 3 very comfortable beds, everything we needed in the kitchen & a lovely bathroom. The owner Phil was very helpful both before we arrived and whilst we were there.

We had stayed in this property last summer, although just for 3 nights. This time we stayed for a full week and we were not disappointed. The cottage is very well appointed, with everything you could need for your stay and the garden and views are outstanding. Phil, our host, was as helpful as ever.

Lovely cottage, kitted out with everything you'd need. There is a pub in walking distance where you can get food. Shops are further away. Lovely views from the garden, great place for outdoor eating if the weather is kind! Would definitely consider staying here again.

This is an ideal cottage in so many ways - beautiful walks from the door (including a great pub, which is just a short stroll), quaint friendly village, very cosy comfortable home-away-from-home. Well equiped kitchen, comfy beds, stunning views from every window, (including the bath), big fluffy towels with plenty of hot water, cosy fireplace and a great host in Phil. What a package! Would stay here again in a heartbeat! Thanks for hosting us Phil.

We enjoyed the local pub, the gorgeous views, and the wood fires. The cottage made a great place to come home to at the end of the day.

Fantastic property in a great location, Phil the host was really helpful and easy to deal with. Apple crumble made from the trees on the property was a stand out.

Lovely stay in Newbiggin

Had a really lovely week in Phil's cottage. Super comfortable with beautiful views, and some lovely walks (and pubs) from the front door. Would definitely stay again!

A lovely cottage in a great location to explore the Dales. Beautiful views from the back garden. Local pub is excellent for food,very welcoming. Description of the property was spot on. We would have no hesitation in recommending the property and would definitely stay again.

Great location

Lovely cottage with great views in good location. Next village has great pub, shop and butchers. Well equipped cottage and owner Phil very helpful.

Peaceful retreat

We had an amazing stay. The house was so peaceful and comfortable yet within walking distance of a pub and with beautiful walks from the door. Phil could not have been more helpful, we would love to return!!

A beautifully appointed cottage. Everything you need but not overly cluttered. Most amazing views of the Dales - a beautiful southwest facing terrace and garden at the rear with the most spectacular views both from the garden, two of the bedrooms and all living areas. Central heating but also easy to use wood burner to make it extra cosy (wood and kindling and lighters etc all provided).Fabulous new bathroom. Comfy beds and lovely linen and soft towels.Well resourced kitchen. Everything functioning and in tip top condition.Fabulous walks from the doorstep and pub within walking distance (0.2 miles - 5 mins). Phil is a great host - nothing too much trouble and quickly responds to messages.Well resourced village shop recently opened at West Witton too.
