Newly remodeled 2-level guest house on 20 acre ranch. Completely solar powered, propane heat, kitchen with cook stove, 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath, living room with 2 hide-away bed couches. Free wifi. 25 minutes from Schweitzer Ski Resort, 15 minutes from Silverwood Theme Park. Equi-distant between Couer D'Alene and Sandpoint. Kids can enjoy feeding and petting the sheep we raise. Nearby National Forest with great hiking and biking trails. Only 1 mile off of state highway 95.

Was fantastic, enjoyed the property, kids had fun, Host were the best very responsive and felt more like family. Will stay here again. Close enough to the store to pick up supplies, much better than any hotel could ever be. Thank you for such a great stay

Beautiful views, quiet and relaxing. The host family was welcoming and attentive with directions since it’s a bit remote and we were arriving very late. GPS took us right to the house and the directions provided by the host, were helpful since it was dark. The hosts were accommodating without hovering. The sheep and dogs were fun to watch. Enjoyed sitting on the back deck - it was quiet and peaceful. Perfect location for our activities and plans at a reasonable price. Roomy and all the necessary amenities. Beds were really comfortable! Clean and perfect for our long weekend. This is an off the grid home but has 110 outlets in each room. Well labeled and we noticed no difference in the power or water. Everything worked as if on city water and power. We will stay again if and when we return to the area. Thank you!

Fantastic quiet cabin close to Silverwood

Wonderful remote cabin on a quiet property, but also within a quick drive to Silverwood, Farragut State Park, and other outdoor activities. Very polite and nice hosts!

Hosts are amazing! House is comfortable. Off the grid house is incredible. Mark is always offering help and asking to make our stay even better. Always look forward to our stay at their place.

Highly recommend this cabin for the peace and quiet and wonderful hospitality. Just beware the driveway is super steep and gravel, so anything other than all wheel or four wheel drive may not make it all the way in. Really clean, comfortable beds, and very peaceful. We will be back.

Peaceful and quiet retreat!

Tucked back and away from the noise and city, just what we wanted for our trip! We were on a trip around north Idaho to get away from all the hustle and crazy of the city life. This place was perfect for that!

Amazing stay!

This place was tucked far enough in the woods where one can appreciate a quiet morning. Place was clean, cozy and comfortable. No internet and very little cell service (w/ Verizon) which makes the stay even better, forcing one to truly disconnect! I enjoyed this place and would most definitely return.

Great stay in Northern Idaho

Home was perfect for a family stay. Tons of room. Kids appreciated their own rooms and full kitchen & living room were great for eating and watching movies in the evening. Very quiet and out of the busy areas yet only 10 minutes to Silverwood made it a great location!

Best place and host!

Second year staying with Mark and Vicki. The hosts are so welcoming. The house is welcoming and completely off grid. Comfortable for the whole family to stay and adventure around the area. We will be return again.

Family Fun

If you are planning to get away and want a quit place to lay your head at night this place was perfect. Our family had enough space to relax and loved being in the woods. The kitchen was perfect to cook some easy meals. This place was clean and serine.

Convenient for going to Silverwood

This property met our needs for our trip to Silverwood. There was no microwave, toaster or traditional coffee pot (a french press was available), so plan accordingly.
