A lovely and relaxing private backyard, just a short walk/bike to Westport Harbor, beautiful Horseneck and Cherry & Webb beaches, and the Westport River. Professionally decorated with a rustic beach house vibe and comforts of home. Sleeps 6 comfortably. Large yard with sun and shade. Nearby restaurants including Westport Rivers Vineyard & Buzzard's Bay Brewery beckon after a breezy beach day. Plenty of farm-to-table and family friendly activities even on rest-from-surf days-- this is the place to be!

Take a brisk morning walk to Westport Harbor, passing stone walls and historic properties such as Captains' houses along the way. Or make an afternoon of slurping oysters and sipping Farmer's Fizz on the deck at Westport Sea Farms, a short stretch down the road. Rent a kayak and discover the Westport River, paddling to your heart's content.

Upon your return, relax on the stone patio in Adirondack chairs while enjoying ocean breezes, or choose a shady spot in the green backyard.

Bring your bikes! A newly built, paved bicycle/walking lane begins a block away from your front door and leads you over the bridge to Horseneck Beach or Cherry & Webb beach, 2 miles away .

Drive to Westport Village center for shopping, dining, and groceries, only 8 minutes away. Browse the Saturday Farmer's Market where you will find grass-fed local beef, local honey, organic cotton hand-made sheets, and tomatoes to die for. Or drive around to the many farm stands along the winding town roads.

What a beautiful property! I fell in love with the back yard and enjoyed the butternut tree,Rose of Sharon from the Adirondack chairs. The house was comfortable, clean and nicely (but not fussily) decorated. AC is window units but they did the job. Great location with nice walk to the point and a seafood restaurant. Will try to come back!

As advertised!

We had a nice stay and the host was responsive before / upon arrival. One bathroom was tough for our group. Beds were comfy, fire pit didn’t work. Westport is charming!

Hi Morgan, I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. We do keep an extra propane tank on hand for the grill (in summer) and for the fire table. I encourage you to communicate with your future hosts during your stays if anything does not seem to be in working order-- we usually have a solution to offer you! It is actually in fine working order but can be tricky to light on windy nights. Looking forward to hosting you again!

The most charming spot! My husband and I came down with our 7 month old and had such a nice 4th of July stay. The house is exceptionally clean and well maintained. AC units in all 3 bedrooms and one in the main dining room/ living room area, and the queen bed upstairs was super comfortable. The host is great and very responsive. There is a nice patio and grill out back and a gorgeous and huge backyard, would be perfect for kids to run around.Westport is the cutest little town, lots of good restaurants, cafes, little shops, beaches, and scenic farm land. It was such a nice and relaxing stay, highly recommend!

Beautiful, quiet neighborhood. The home was charming and super clean. The beds were our favorite, especially the queen tempurpedic upstairs. There weren’t many stores around, but Newport Rhode Island was only a 30min drive, which we enjoyed. There were games and tv subscriptions available for a cozy night in. The backyard was lovely with a gas fire pit which we used as well as a gas grill. Our host Tracy was friendly and responded within minutes, making sure everything went smoothly. All in all, a great place to stay, especially if you’re visiting in the summer since the beach is only a couple minutes away by car. I highly recommend:)!!

Vintage Cottage on Historic Street

My husband and I spent five weeks in late spring and the space worked well for the two of us. The location near the historic Westport Point marina and storybook yard enhanced the overall experience. In summer, the lovely, super helpful owners plan to install A/C's in the second floor bedrooms where they will be needed. We are walkers and bikers and the spot was a perfect starting point for both. With the best local grocery store just a few miles down the road, trips were quick and efficient especially during the period when eating out wasn't an option. With two beaches within walking or biking distance, the location and charm of this vintage cottage made for a very special late spring, early summer stay.

Disappointing

Well, at first I thought, “what a sweet farm house and what a lovely yard!” As time passed, I realized a few things: 1. There was no note upon arrival giving guests info ie wifi, local recommendations-zero info. 2. My bedroom was quite smelly and I soon realized (after sniffing around) that the sheets needed washing as I think they were damp and then dried. It stunk! 3. I reached out to the owner to give them what I thought could be helpful feedback i.e. The place needed more dish soap, paper towels, the stinky sheet story and lastly that fact that the only bathroom was not very clean. I did NOT receive a text back which frankly was uncool. I imagine the owners are new at renting out their home but honestly, I feel it is common sense to respond to a guest that just paid money to stay at their home.

First, we were disappointed to see you DROVE several times on the back lawn of our property causing a lot of damage to the sod. And to set the record straight, the sheets at our rentals -- and we have 5 -- are all custom made and the sheets on your memory foam King bed were washed. We left you 2 propane tanks for grill and pit, a 3 lb bag of Starbucks coffee, tangerines, sparkling wine, red wine, S'mores ingredients, popcorn, and a number of other extras in addition to 5 rolls of paper towels and an 8 ounce bottle of Mrs. Myers dish soap, all standard fare for a 7 day stay. We have hosted on other platforms, over 300 guests, and have a solid 4.9 rating. As for the guidebook, it is on the dining room credenza with over 20 pages of information including the high speed wi-fi password and info about cable. There isn't a more central location! Also, as a general rule, when guests destroy the lockbox and key fob, it would be great to let the host know, as it is an essential element of any STR.

This was our third time staying at Tracy’s house. The location is great - close to the beach and a walk to the point (where you can grab oysters at Sea Farms). The house is very comfortable and it has a beautiful backyard - great for coffee and afternoon drinks! We’ll be back!

We loved this house. Had everything we needed for 3 seniors. Comfortable beds especially the queen because my wife needs to sit up to sleep. Had a family of deer cutting through the back yard as a bonus. Very close to the Back Eddy restaurant which was the location of our family reunion

End of Summer Escape

Our family of four thoroughly enjoyed our time together on Westport Point. The home was well-appointed with everything you need in the kitchen, comfy beds and plenty of beach towels. You are a short distance to Westport Point and a bike ride away from Horseneck Beach. Tracy was communicative and welcoming.

Family Getaway

The house was exactly what we needed. The outdoor space was perfect for my 3 and 6 year old boys. Restaurants, a supermarket, gas station and playground are nicely located from the house. I truly recommend the lobster roll at the The Back Eddy. Thanks Tracy!

A beautiful well-designed house filled with charm as well as the modern conveniences. And that back patio and yard are so large, comfortable, quiet...such a relaxing retreat. Beds are very comfortable, as is the entire house. We already loved the area and absolutely loved the house, which is convenient to everything.

Wonderful, relaxing stay

A perfect summer escape that's still close to everything. We had such fun during our annual visit to Westport staying here! We loved that it's so close to Westport Point and the Sea Farms, and just a few minutes drive to the beach. We had plenty of space indoors and a great backyard to explore. Tracy was a great host, and provided extra supplies when the hurricane was predicted. We managed just fine, and really enjoyed our visit. Thanks!

Beautiful Cottage, Excellent Location!

We stayed at this beautiful little cottage in Westport for a week in August - two grandparents, and our family of four (4.5yr old and 8yr old). We enjoyed being so close to the beaches (Horseneck and Gooseberry Isle) and spent most of our days there. The fire table out back was perfect way to end the evening with delicious s'mores (ingredients provided by our gracious host Tracy!). Tracy was easy to communicate with and responsive, and even sent us a reminder for trash day! Would recommend for small/young families! Couple of helpful details for families: - Further up Main Rd is Lee's Market which is fully stocked and much closer than heading into one of the bigger towns for groceries. There is also a great fresh fish shop and a gas station. - Wouldn't recommend the bike lane for young kids, its along busy roads and probably best for the experienced bikers (which you'll see many of). - Although the house sleeps 6 comfortably, there were only 4 chairs for the dinning room table. We didn't try the camp chairs or pulling over a chair from the living room, in the end, with two smaller kids we ending up eating in shifts so it worked out fine. - Plenty of chairs to sit on to enjoy the BEAUTIFUL and peaceful backyard - both camp chairs and Adirondack-style chairs. We spied so many birds, bats, bunnies, squirrels, and even a toad! The only two things that could make it better would be a picnic table and a clothesline to hang wet stuff after the beach. - The twin beds are HIGH, not a big deal for the 8yr old, the 4yr old needed to stand on a box to get a boost up. - We found window and box fans in the hall closet which helped keep the first floor cool along with the ceiling fans. The window AC units in the bedrooms worked well. - We had 3 cars (small SUVs/cross-over) and just fit in the driveway if pulled bumper-to-bumper. Parking overnight on Main Rd was not a problem though, and inevitably one of the cars was parked there for ease of access.

South Coast Retreat

We had a great time at Tracy's home in Westport. We were celebrating our 10th anniversary and wanted to do something special. Westport was a great destination itself as well as an easy launching point to explore the nearby beaches and islands. On foul weather days, we were very comfortable relaxing at the house and enjoying the private backyard. Tracy was easy to communicate with and responded quickly to our questions about the house and the general Westport area. Tracy also made our arrival more colorful, we found fresh-cut flowers in the kitchen on our arrival. We look forward to returning.

A fabulous getaway, so close to the beach!

My husband and I stayed for over a week at the property and absolutely loved the house, yard, and location. The property is walking distance from historic Westport village and just a short bike ride to Horseneck Beach (along a new bike lane). Tracy was a fantastic host and extraordinarily accommodating. The house itself was very clean and well-appointed. We would definitely stay here again!

You may notice that we don't even have a mailbox! This was done intentionally to preserve the look that the Point had over 100 years ago. This place let's you unplug, and is relaxing for guests.

You can also walk or ride bikes to Cherry & Webb Beach, which is unrivaled.

Summer and Fall in Westport are amazing and our guests have created great memories, visiting the Buzzards Bay brewery, which hosts great concerts.going to farms and vineyard for entertainment and time to unwind makes the Farm Coast the absolute best.
