This is a lovely property and the hosts were very helpful. The trees have grown up around the pool so it feels very private. There is a hotel across the road, which we were a bit concerned about but we honestly didn't hear it- it is a very quiet neighbourhood. The 2 local beaches are fantastic- they are literally a few minutes walk and we took snorkels and spent hours looking at the fish swimming in the rocks. there is a spar supermarket 2 minutes walk away- it is expensive but great if you've forgotten something. There are also 4 excellent restaurants 2 minutes walk away. Chiringos was our favourite, and the Cala mandia beach restaurant was great, but they do only take cash. The cost of Air con is not included in the price- you pay this in cash on leaving (it was 30 for us for the week). We had a fantastic holiday and would recommend this property to anyone

Porto Cristo Novo was very clean and well furnished, from the kitchen, to the lounge and bedrooms as well as the outside space and swimming pool.Miquel and his wife were very helpful and worked around our flight time for access, although I imagine it wouldn’t always be possible to be so accommodating. There are two lovely beaches nearby one is a two minutes walk down a fairly steep set of steps opposite (although there is also road access) and the other about 5 minutes walk away.Getting to Porto Cristo was very easy; either 10 minutes by taxi or 20 by the local bus service which ran regularly throughout the day and evening.The 2 local (less than 5 minutes walk) restaurants/bars that we used in Cala Mendia were Verana and Pizzeria 401 which were both very good. All in all a lovely property in a good location.

Perfect for our family of six. Lovely house with a great terrace and pool. Just a few minutes’ walk from a beautiful beach and convenient shopping options. The location is also a great starting point if you're up for a short hike to nearby beaches like cala varques.

Great place for two with easy access to explore or spend time outside at the pool

Check in was easy and Maria was very accommodating and easy to reach ! Perfect for us to explore the island with beaches nearby and easy access to restos, grocery and lots to do !! Sept is the perfect time to visit and Maria’s place was perfect for us…

Location is great. Host is great and very responsive. Outdoor area and pool are better than photos. Location to beach with an amazing local restaurant better than in listing.... however, we had an unfortunate situation where the air-conditioning in bedrooms broke apparently on the Wednesday before we arrived, which was on sunday. At no time to the host communicate to us that there had been a problem with the air-conditioning in the bedrooms. Wednesdsy to Sundsy provided time to let us know that there was a problem.. this happened to be a heat wave in Mallorca and sleeping was unbearable. The host offered a solution and delivered vans to the property, but this did nothing much to deal with the heat.. they try to get the parts and have this fixed, but it did not happen. None of us slept well.. The exterior of the property is beautiful and the pool area is really special. The inside is pretty basic it has what you made. The beds are hard... and not very nice linens, I feel that with just a little bit of TLC. This could be a really premium property.

Very bright house with large terraces and private pool.

Everything about our stay at this property was fabulous.Even with late arrival, host was there to greet us and show us around the property. Property was clean, furnished to a great standard and well stocked with everything we needed. Air conditioned throughout.Outside patio area and private pool were amazing. Trees next to the pool have grown since the photos on vrbo, so the pool was private and not overlooked. 2 minute walk to Cala Mandia and 10 minute walk to Cala Anguilla. Lovely clean sandy coves, with lifeguards and great snorkelling.As a rock climber the property was within walking distance or short drive of many local rock climbing venues.

This villa is spectacular and new

Pros: We loved every part of our vacation while staying in this property. The house was well equipped with all of the essentials that you would require on a self catering holiday. The close proximity to small immediate needs shops is less then a few steps away, with full grocery shopping to stock up a 5 min drive. The access to a beautiful cove type beach 50 meters away was perfect for us and used at least 3 times a day, as well as easy access to drive to other beautiful blue flag rated beaches on the island. Perfectly situated to relax local or drive and explore. The owners were extremely professional with prompt communication and very accommodating. Cons: We had our 1.5 year old baby with us and villa has 2 small stairs that were a danger to him so we had to block them of, not a big deal at all. The outside pool access area also had a large drop off and stairs as well, again not a big deal as our baby is never out of a hands reach or holding hands while walking but he love the pool and would drive to it, making his feet very slippery on the outdoor tile and indoor tile floors creating slip hazards. Again, we manage our baby well but something to consider for parents, stairs and possibly slippery floors in and out. Also to note is that surrounding area resort hotels have live entertainment that can be heard at very loud levels starting every day at about 11 in the afternoon until about 0100 in the morning and if the villa is open at all you will enjoy as well. Pool is not heated and during our stay very cold we could not utilize past the ankle (Sept 17-24) but understood our trip was at the end of the season. In closing, we would go back without a doubt but as the baby is a little older and the house would be safer. But if booking with older children or none at all wonderful and recommended. However, for the price there may be better options for a family looking to rest and relax.

Maravillosas vacaciones

Acabamos de volver a casa tras pasar unas maravillosas vacaciones en Mallorca. Elegimos esta preciosa zona de Manacor por ser uno de los entornos más bonitos de la isla. La casa es amplia y muy cómoda, hemos estado como en casa, tiene todos los detalles y comodidades con la ventaja de estar al lado de la playa. El acceso a la playa es a través de unas escaleras que dan directamente a Cala Mendia, una preciosa cala de aguas turquesas y fina arena blanca. Tiene un chiringuito estupendo en donde se puede comer buen pescado a la brasa. Fuimos en pleno Agosto y no había mucha gente. A pocos metros hay otra cala preciosa, Cala Anguila, muy similar a la primera y no muy lejos, está Cala romántica. la localización ha sido todo un acierto pues Portocristo (Cuevas del Drach) se encuentra a escasos 5 min en coche y es ideal para una buena cena o para las salidas en barco, hemos tenido además la oportunidad de visitar otras zonas pues Cala Mandia esta muy bien comunicada. Sin embargo, si algo se merece especial mención de este maravilloso viaje son los anfitriones, a los que queremos agradecerles expresamente haber contribuido en tan gran medida a unas vacaciones inolvidables; desde el primer momento nos han ayudado, aconsejado y agasajado. Ha sido un placer concocerles y no podemos otra cosa que recomendar el alquiler de su casa, seguro que como huésped disfruta de unas vacaciones maravillosas.

Perfekter Urlaub

Wir haben mit unserem achtmonatigen Sohn einen tollen Urlaub in der wunderschönen Villa von Maria Antonia und Miquel verbracht. Die Lage ist ideal: Das Haus liegt im kleinen Ferienort Cala Mandia, zum schönen Strand mit türkisblauem Meer führt eine Treppe, die sich direkt gegenüber des Hauses befindet. Eine zweite, ebenso schöne Bucht ereicht man in ca. 5 Minuten zu Fuss. Um die Ecke ist ein Spar, wo man sich morgens frische Brötchen holen kann. Die Villa ist sehr modern und hochwertig eingerichtet. Eine große Küche, mit allem ausgestattet, was man so braucht, sehr schicke Bäder, in allen Räumen Klimaanlage, Babybett und Hochstuhl...einfach top. Der Pool war für uns das Highlight: richtig groß und durch einen flachen Bereich im vorderen Teil auch ideal für kleinere Kinder. Die Terrasse erstreckt sich über mehrere Ebenen und ist mit einem grossen Tisch mit sechs Stühlen und vier Liegen möbliert. Wir haben jeden Tag auf der Terrasse gefrühstückt und zu Abend gegessen. Maria Antonia und Miquel waren die perfekten Gastgeber. Sie empfingen uns mit einem Obstkorb, Wasser und Sekt und -total lieb- einem Geschenk für unser Baby. Wir können die Unterkunft jedem empfehlen und wollen selbst gerne noch mal wieder kommen.

Jolie villa proche de la plage

Nous avons été séduit par cette très jolie maison qui se trouve à quelques mètres de la mer. On accède à la plage par un escalier qui se trouve de l'autre côté de la rue. La maison était très propre à notre arrivée et elle très bien équipée. Nous recommandons cette maison car elle est très bien placée et très agréable. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et les propriétaires sont des gens charmants et règlos. Ils sont aussi très disponibles et toujours prêts à donner de bons conseils. Les descriptif et les photos correspondait parfaitement à la réalité.

Belle villa contemporaine au bord de l'eau

Nous avons séjourné dans cette villa contemporaine pendant 15 jours. A notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis chaleureusement par Maria Antonia et Miquel. La villa dispose de beaux volumes très appréciables avec une enfant de 3 ans. Son emplacement parfait permet un accès direct à la plage de Cala Mandia par un escalier d’une cinquantaine de marches (en face de la maison). Une autre plage, celle de Cala Anguila, se situe à environ 350 mètres. Des commerces (SPAR…) sont également à proximité pour de petites courses ou simplement les croissants du matin… Nous avons seulement utilisé notre voiture de location pour les courses plus importantes ou pour la visite des environs (Artà, Manacor…). La villa venait tout juste d’être achevée à notre arrivée et nous avons inauguré ces lieux avec un équipement flambant neuf : - la piscine carrelée est très agréable avec une plage, idéale pour les enfants en bas âge, et une longueur du bassin permettant de nager - la maison est très lumineuse et entièrement climatisée (réglage de la température par pièces) - les pièces sont spacieuses avec de nombreux rangements - le jardin venait d’être aménagé et les haies permettront à l’avenir plus d’intimité dans ces lieux - un ménage intermédiaire est réalisé pour les séjours supérieurs à la semaine Cette location correspond parfaitement à l’annonce : la maison est très agréable et les propriétaires prévenants. A recommander sans hésitation.

Die Lage ist perfekt, die Zimmer hell und gut ausgestattet. Die Bäder neu und sauber. Außenbereich top, schöne Terrassen zum Liegen bzw. Essen. Der Pool in Rautenform mit einer Länge von 10m ausreichend groß. Das Haus entspricht genau dem, was man im Inserat erwartet. Die Vermieter sehr freundlich, zeitlich flexibel und gut erreichbar. Man erreicht problemlos zufuß im 5 bzw. 10 Minuten die beiden Strände Cala Mendia und Cala Aguila, beide sehr sauber und das Wasser kristallklar. In der Nähe des Hauses, ca. 3 Minuten ist ein kleinerer Supermarkt, aber Achtung sehr teuer. Besser mit dem Auto zum Eroski bzw. Hiper: mehr Auswahl und viel billiger!!!Alles in allem gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen.

Herausragender Empfang durch die Gastgeberin mit wertvollen Tipps zu lokalen Gegebenheiten. Sehr saubere Unterkunft. Pool sehr sauber. Alles vorhanden, was man für eine Woche Familienurlaub benötigt. Lage des Hauses mit zwei wunderschönen, fußläufig erreichbaren Badebuchten perfekt. Von der Terrasse aus sogar etwas Meerblick. Sehr zu empfehlen. Herzlichen Dank an M&M!

Tolle Lage, fußläufig zwei tolle Buchten und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig, modern und super ausgestattet, inklusive Küche, Pool und TV System. Sogar Sonnenschirme für den Strand sind vorhanden. Das Haus entspricht in allem der Beschreibung. Das Bad und die Betten sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Alles in allem hatten wir einen tollen Urlaub!

- Lage gut: Meer (Cala Mendia) 5 Minuten laufen- Schwimmbad top- Haus braucht aber einiges an Revision: Türklingel reparieren / Toiletten können nicht abgeschlossen werden. Rost da und da. Schlafzimmer Fenster können nicht alle abgeschlossen werden. - Dorf ist ok. Preis von 3000 Euro pro Woche ist für diesen Qualitätsstandard etwas übertrieben aber das ist August leider.

Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt! Die Unterkunft ist modern, sehr sauber und hat alles, was man braucht. Der Pool ist super gepflegt und abends ist alles wunderschön beleuchtet – richtig stimmungsvoll. Besonders toll: Von der Terrasse hat man einen herrlichen Blick aufs Meer!
