Winter adventure

We went chasing waterfalls. This was a perfect location. Everything we needed. The settlers coop was great place to get groceries and things.Would stay here again.

Great family time

My sisters and our husbands stayed here for a weekend to visit other family in the area. We loved our time. We grilled (bring some charcoal), played pool, card games, ate a bunch of good food, and chatted for hours. It was close to a couple of beautiful waterfalls (Bond Falls was lovely) that we could go hiking for a bit. The owner was super helpful and quick to respond. He allowed us a slight change in our check in, which was very nice. I would recommend bringing paper plates and a set of plastic utensils if you have a large group of 8 or more. Otherwise, you will be washing dishes with eat meal. (There is a dishwasher also.) No hidden surprises. Everything was just as expected. Only the garbage disposal wasn't working, but own quickly replied that it would be looked at in a day or two. We would go here again.

Great Location, Great Stay!

We had a great stay here with another couple. The house was very clean and plenty of space to do our own things in the house and spend time together as 2 couples. One 1/2 bath attached to the biggest bedroom was nice so we didn't have to share everything. We didn't spend much time at the house as we were ATV trail riding. But it had everything we needed, including TV's and Roku which was great. Easy to find, right on the main road and right by the co-op so we could even walk up to find something to eat or get coffee. For getting on the Trail.. wow perfect! We would for sure recommend this location to anyone looking to hit the trails. It was quiet at night and plenty of parking space for 2 trucks with trailers. No issues during the stay where we had to contact anyone. Responses to initial emails was quick and info before stay was very detailed.

Nice house in a friendly neighborhood. Nice added amenities with the pool table and sauna. Close to restaurants

Relaxing

We had so much fun. We rented a utv from Headwaters Polaris in Watersmeet. Fun It was nice just to relax in the other days. Places to eat are very close. You could walk. We didn’t use the sauna or pool table. The place has everything you need. If they don’t the grocery store is in walking distance. There is a dollar general around the corner. There is a baseball diamond next to the place and a church on the other side. We will probably rent it again. Thanks for letting us use your place.

Cozy and comfortable.

I highly recommend this property. The bedrooms were clean and comfy. Nicely redone with plenty of space. The basement is a good spot to shoot pool and play darts and even has a pac man arcade game. You can play music and not worry about bothering neighbors because there are no houses on either side of the property. The owner stays in contact with you in case you need anything and is very hospitable. There is a cafe across the street with delicious food. I got eggs and toast and my toast was made from homemade bread. So good.

Crossroads of the UP

Clean and well taken care of. Very roomy for family or gathering of friends. All the amenities of home. My favorite feature, great sauna.

Great Getaway!

House was just what we expected and we will be staying again. The beds were very comfortable. You never know how well you will sleep when you are away from home, but these were very comfortable.

Perfect for trail riding

This property was perfect for a group of 4 guys riding orv trails. We each had a private space. We had easy access to trails. We had a kitchen to make meals in. The house is clean and comfy. Not the most modern but it’s perfect for what we needed. The property manager was easy to contact with questions. Plenty of parking for trucks and trailers

Nice but odor issues

Everything went well but something is off with odor issues. Room in basement had severe odor coming from closet area. Not sure but there may be some mold issues as the guy that slept 1 night in that room got sick he spent the rest of the stay on the couch. There are fragerance dispensers throughout the house that dispense frequently round the clock. Host apologized and thanked us for bringing it to his attention and said he would look into it.

Met expectations

Yearly West U.P. Sled Trip

This was one of the nicer places (we thought) to stay at. The location is awesome for a group that doesn't want to haul more than what's necessary for a few days of riding. All the conveniences, gas, grocery store and even a bar and restaurant are only a block or two away, Its nice and roomy for a small group. The snowmobile trail is just down the street, and (as in are case) if grade trail is melted down its only a 20 min drive to a trailhead to the north or west.

Very nice place

John has a very nice house that we stayed in. Beds were great. Living room furniture is very nice. Overall great place to stay and great location close to Chars Restaurant which has great food for breakfast lunch and dinner. The bar next door has great pizza. Also the co-op which is the gas station, grocery store, hardware and bakery is a great place to shop. John was great to deal with and just a text or call away. Would recommend and would book it again.

Snowmobile trip

Great place! Good location, right on snowmobile trail. 24 hour gas station. Grocery store, restaurant, bar and grill within a short walk. Our group was 9 adults. Plenty of room. Every thing was right as told. Would stay again.
