This spacious 2,600 sq. ft. home features 4 bedrooms and 3 baths, offering plenty of room to relax and gather. Inside, you’ll find a large updated kitchen ideal for preparing meals, along with separate family and living rooms for time together.
Take in stunning river views from the cozy fireplaces or step outside onto the expansive 800 sq. ft. wrap-around redwood deck overlooking the water. Nestled in a peaceful neighborhood, this home is perfect for unwinding with a good book or watching cranes glide along the river — with the occasional distant train adding to the charm.
Fishing enthusiasts will love the direct river access — cast right from the back deck or relax on the swing while listening to the soothing flow of the Hamilton Branch. Recently remodeled flooring adds warmth throughout the home, and ample dining and counter seating accommodates your entire group.
Entertainment options include a pool table, table tennis, karaoke machine, and a 70-inch smart TV. High-speed Starlink internet with Google Mesh Wi-Fi keeps you connected, and music lovers will enjoy the electric piano.
New this year, guests have access to a secure kayak shed with four kayaks, beach chairs, cornhole, and outdoor essentials. Sleeping arrangements include two main-floor bedrooms (king and queen) and two upstairs bedrooms, one with a king bed plus additional sleeping options, and one with a queen bed.

We loved this house - very clean, with all the amenities that’s perfect for a family vacation. Its location sits close to the water with beautiful views of the branch. Kids loved the pool/l table/ping pong table, big kitchen for meals, beautiful deck with a fire pit to enjoy sitting outside. Walking distance to the lake - water toys including kyaks and beach chairs for the lake were provided. We’ll definitely want to rent this house again next summer.

I stayed here with several co-workers and the house was perfect! Lots of space and very clean. Getting into the house was easy and the host was responsive. The location is beautiful next to a river while also being close to the lake and town.

Great house and location!

We enjoyed a fantastic 4 nights at this house - boated daily and hung out at the house nightly. Debbie and her husband have everything you need for your stay - the ping pong table was a hit and we enjoyed hanging out on the deck listening to the river. They were excellent hosts and we would return again!

Property was comfortable for us friends to visit and hike in Lassen National Park and around Lake Almanor. Backyard deck was ideal for evening relaxation with the sound of the river flowing. Enjoyable stay overall!

Great accommodations

The property was a great fit for our family with 3 bedrooms and 3 baths. The kitchen was well equipped and the games, pool and ping pong table were fun. Unfortunately, we were placed under an evacuation warning after 2 nights due to the Dixie wild fire and had to leave.

Wonderful winter getaway

This is a fantastic house! It's comfortable, homey and had a lot of space for our family to spread out. The ping pong table and pool table were a big hit for the crew. Debbie was a great host and wonderful to work with. We highly recommend this home and hope to come back!

Amazing home and view!!!!

Our family stayed at the house for four nights. The house is beautiful but the back deck and the view of the river is amazing. We spent most of our time sitting on the deck and fishing in the river. The guys loved the pool table. Debbie and Dave are great hosts, we would definitely recommend this property to anyone wanting a beautiful home with amazing views and a short drive to Lake Almanor.

Loved it

Huge clean house, everything you could need for a stay. Lots of games and fun entertainment. Location is awesome. The river is amazing with a fun hike down to it. The hosts are spectacular. We got stuck off roading and needed an emergency pick up- they did not need to do this for us but they did - we are so grateful. Can’t wait to come back.

Awesome House - with Great Deck Scene!

Fantastic property. Large home that can accommodate many guests with a fantastic deck above the river - great for hanging out and catching up. Debbie and Dave are great hosts, very responsive. Everything was clean and the kitchen was well stocked in terms of dishes, cooking utensils, etc. I/we will definitely stay there again and I highly recommend this property.

Amazing property and best hosts ever !

The property is very well equipped and well stocked. The adults spent most of the time on the amazing patio and kids had a blast at the pool and ping-pong/TT table. Debbie and David are the nicest and kindest people that we have ever met. They went out of their way to help us whenever we needed. We had a great time. We are going back for sure.

Beautiful view of river

This property was right on the river. It was a short 5 minute walk to the river opening. The boys caught about 20 fish. The accommodations were amazing. The kids were entertained with ping pong, pool, and chess. I was entertained with the view and the standing keyboard. Such an amazing property!

Wonderful! Quiet Cabin in the woods by a river

We had a quiet stay in the cabin by the river. The river canceled out any other noises (which were minimal) and we found the place very calming and quiet. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need, and the living room is large with a great view. The host was very accommodating and made the whole process exceedingly easy on us. The cabin is not overly staged and feels very home-y. Highly recommend for a quiet spot. My only suggestion is that if you bring small children, you will need to keep an eye on them as there is a steep hill leading to the water.

Incredible experience

This is a beautiful property with a wonderful view of the river. The house was fantastic for our family, and we enjoyed the deck, playing games, and relaxing. We brought our boat, and it was a short drive to launch the boat. My elderly parents loved the accommodations as well, and it was great that there was a step-in shower on the main floor. Debbie is a great host- was pleasant to work with and is a great communicator. We would absolutely stay at this property again! Lake Almanor did not disappoint, and we are hopeful to return in the future!

lovely spot

This was a great house for our needs, as we came to visit friends who live in the neighborhood. We enjoyed the deck and the river views, plus the river sounds coming in the windows. There was also the occasional chugging train across the highway. The guys had fun playing pool. Kitchen was more than adequate with every appliance and tool needed for food preparation. The beds were excellent and ours (a king) was just right firm! Had a lovely time visiting with Debbie and David, too. All in all, it was a wonderful vacation.

My husband David & I love Lake Almanor for what it has to offer for the outdoor enthusiasts like ourselves. We love being outdoors as well as entertaining. We love boating, hiking, mountain biking, road biking, waterskiing/ wake boarding in the summer as well as downhill skiing & snow shoeing in the winter.

Nestled perfectly on the Hamilton Branch inlet to Lake Almanor, this home boasts an ideal location. The allure of the branch captivated me from the moment I laid eyes on this property. The mesmerizing view and soothing sound of the creek sold me on the spot; I barely needed to explore the rest of the house.

Situated at the North end of the East Shore, near the Country Club golf course and Bailey Creek golf course on the peninsula, this home offers tranquility and convenience. Listen to the gentle cascade of the creek from the deck, with the occasional passing train adding to the charm.

Step inside to find a recently remodeled interior, complete with warm flooring that enhances the ambiance. From the living room, step out onto the spacious deck and savor your morning coffee surrounded by towering pine trees. This place truly feels like your home away from home.

Just a few steps from the house, guests have the opportunity to catch dinner, with some sharing exhilarating tales of casting and catching fish in record time. This exclusive trail is accessible only to our guests.

Out on the deck, a fire pit table provides a cozy spot for guests to enjoy the outdoors and unwind. Additionally, a comfortable swing, which easily converts into a daybed, allows guests to soak in the sights and sounds of the creek, accompanied by the occasional passing train.

The kitchen comes fully stocked with modern amenities, including a 4-burner electric stove, convection oven, microwave, garbage disposal, dishwasher, wet bar, and a variety of small appliances such as a waffle maker, coffee pot, toaster, variety of spices for your cooking needs and built-in blender/food processor. Guests will find an array of cookware, dishes, baking tools, wine glasses, and more for their culinary needs.

For those who prefer a good night's sleep, three of the bedrooms feature room-darkening curtains, ensuring a restful slumber.

In the game room, a fireplace insert keeps the whole house warm and cozy, with detailed operating instructions conveniently posted by the mantle. Wood and kindling are readily available just outside the front door, along with a metal receptacle for hot coals. Guests can adjust the propane heat using the Google thermostat to their desired temperature.

To ensure our guests' safety and comfort, we've recently installed a new ON DEMAND backup generator for added peace of mind during their stay.
