New cottage that can be your "home away from home" while on PEI! This new build sits perched on Sunset Lane in the picturesque countryside of Clinton over-looking the Sou'west River. The cottage has an ICF foundation with 4' frost walls, helping to keep things cozy. Once inside, you'll find a clean and bright layout with white trim finishings and wood-beam accented ceilings. All new appliances in the kitchen round out the modern yet comforting feel of the open concept living area. Each of the three bedrooms has a large closet, with the master having a double closet and ensuite access to the full bath. The other full bath has a new washer and dryer side-by-side. Just off the kitchen, you will find a large coat closet by the side door entry. Queen beds in the master and 2nd bedrooms with a bunk bed in the 3rd bedroom with double and single mattresses. Views of the river from the front and side decks will have you loving life. 3 Tv's with internet (No Cable), Xbox One with games for the kids. You are just five minutes to championship golf courses, two minutes to Clinton Hills. The cottage has everything you could want, Come relax and enjoy your stay in PEI's paradise.

Darcy’s place was the perfect home base for our first trip to PEI. The location was wonderful, and the home itself was beautifully presented, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We truly enjoyed our time there and would happily return on our next visit to the island

We really enjoyed our week at this property in Aug 2026. It was clean, comfortable and had all of the basics. The location is great for heading out for some sightseeing or beach days. Evenings were quiet and relaxing, with a fire pit and plenty of room for games around the dining room table or in the living room. It’s pet friendly, which was a bonus for us. We did keep our little dogs leashed because of the very curious foxes that would come out at dusk.

The house is well equipped and comfortable. Very tranquil with stunning views of the river and sunsets.Darcy was a fine host to communicate with. We encountered a minor plumbing problem that I reported and Darcy sent the plumbers within the hour to resolve it!

This was a perfect location while we were in the area for a family wedding. The Sunset Retreat was spotless and bright. Great stay!

Great location, spotless, well equipped

Would stay again, nice view from back deck, very private, quiet. Great location away from heavily touristed areas, but convenient to every corner of the island.

The property was pristine, exactly as advertised. Any questions were answered promptly and D’arcy went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. And the sunsets just can’t be beat!

Awesome Getaway

This was our first time in PeI and we stayed in the perfect spot for all of the places we wanted to check out. The place was clean and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again if we return back to PEI.

Wonderful and peaceful stay

The house and property were even better than expected, perfect for our group. We loved having our morning coffee on the deck, watching the kids run around in the huge yard. Highly recommend!

Wonderful stay!

The location was beautiful and the cottage was spacious, airy and well equipped. Communication with the owner was prompt and helpful when we experienced issues with the Wifi. Our family of 5 fully enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it to others looking for a quiet place to stay on the island

Great Location

Overall great house, Close enough and far enough from everything all in the same. Central to get to all areas of the island but nice and private. Great sunsets every night from the deck.

Beautiful cabin with gorgeous view

The pictures don’t do this cabin justice. The inside is quaint, clean and comfortable and the deck was lovely to have a glass of wine or a cup of coffee and relax. We enjoyed our stay so much! I would highly recommend staying here and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Fantastic Vacation

We had a great time. The location was excellent.. easy to get to all parts of the island. The property was well equipped with everything that you would need for your stay.. Darcy responded quickly to any questions we had and provided great tips to buy lobster/steak.. Would highly recommend this property.

Great vacation getaway

We stayed for three nights. All were adults. The accommodation was super. Lots of room for everyone. The grounds and Cottage were pristine. Our little dog had so much fun running through the fields. We would stay here again.

Very clean house

This was a very clean house in a perfect location. It was in a very quiet area so it was nice to sit out and relax and look out at the water without having to worry about hearing neighbors or lots of cars. It was a great house for my family of 7 members and we would definitely recommend staying here.
