Separate suite and full bath with private entry (not attached to our home). One bedroom with queen size bed, full private bathroom, complimentary in-room coffee, tea, cocoa bar, & bottled water also toaster, microwave, & refrigerator/freezer. Outdoor gas grill.The Captain’s Quarters features relaxing saltwater lifestyle with spectacular sunsets. Relax and enjoy the manatee as they lazily swim to and fro thru the canal. Watch the pelicans and sea birds dive into the water for fish while on your private dock just outside your room. Boating, fishing, shrimping, kayaking, paddle boating all within a few feet from the water. Watch Cape Canaveral space launches up close on the water or from the deck over the canal. Boat rides available to sandy island beaches for swimming or sunbathing just minutes from your room. You can fish or shrimp or just enjoy boating along the inter coastal river enjoying the manatee, dolphins, and sightseeing. We provide poles and tackle if you want to fish off the patio. 15 minutes from New Smyrna Beach and 30 min from Daytona Beach. 1 hour to Orlando theme parks. Fishing poles and tackle there for your use too!

What a GREAT PLACE to stay! We found Captains Quarters Very NICE, COMFORTABLE & RELAXING. Right on the waterway, this neat and cozy room is just the place for unwinding. We only stayed one night because we were on the way to a cruise from Port Canaveral, but I would have liked to stay linger and plan to stay there sometime again in the future.

If you love to fish this is a great spot on the channel with a variety of species. Some great places for dining as well & you couldn’t ask for better host! They go above & beyond with all the necessities to complete your stay.

Great waterfront getaway

This place is very clean, beautifully decorated and right on the water. The fishing in the canal was great. The owner was very attentive to any needs and had great local knowledge of places to go for dinner and shopping. We hope to return again soon and maybe see a launch.

Long Weekend Getaway

Very cozy spot for a weekend getaway, perfect size for just the two of us! The room was clean and nicely decorated. Right on the water, great for fishing. Joann, Steve and Sugar Bear were were wonderful hosts; Definitely will be coming back soon.

Peaceful and relaxing

If you are looking for a quiet place this is the perfect place. They were so friendly, my husband and I stayed here on our wedding night. The room was so cute and so clean. They left us a bottle of wine, water and coffee. This really is a great place.

Nice waterfront location, close to many area attractions and activities

We enjoyed our stay. The property provided all of the special touches we needed and an easy launch and access to the Indian River for paddling. It is close to the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge, the Cape and all of the conveniences of groceries and restaurants. It is a smaller space but perfect for those wanting privacy and/or a nice, convenient place to call home while you enjoy the beauty of the area. The hosts were wonderful.

Quaint Calm on the Canal

My husband and I enjoyed the Captain's Quarters immensely! Our favorite part was sitting on the dock watching the boats go by! We enjoyed a fun and busy 4th of July and loved driving back to the peace and quiet. JoAnn, the owner, thought of everything and her personal touch shined through. We highly recommend and cannot wait to visit again!

Amazing Property and People

From the prompt communication preparing us for our stay to the personalized welcome message; JoAnn went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. In addition to the amazing host, the location was perfect as well. The ability to bookend each day sitting in a chair, watching nature in and on the water was phenomenal. We will definitely be back.
