This comfortable 3 BR, 2 full Bathrooms mountain cabin is ideal for your family getaway or a special retreat with friends. Master bedroom with king bed. Queen beds in other two bedrooms. Enjoy the mountains on a huge porch that wraps around half the house with tables, swings, and rockers to accommodate friends and family. This area is gated so we can also accommodate your pet! The kitchen is all new, large and modern with a farm house table that seats eight. More dining areas on the porch.

This cabin is nestled in a private mountain cove, but very close to Highway 28 with easy access for motorcycles or trailers We have a large parking area and circle driveway around rear of house for ease of unloading and loading. Covered parking in paved barn for trailers, motorcycles or your personal vehicle. Left side of the barn has fans and lights over the picnic tables.

The house has Whole Home Backup Power and home phone service with WIFI! Amenities include: Full laundry room, dishwasher, full size refrigerator, microwave, stove, TV, and gas heat, and wood stove fireplace.

If you are seeking biking, boating, fishing, scenic driving, nature, motorcycling, whitewater rafting, zip lines or just a quiet, restful vacation, this is the place for you. Key lock box (to gain entry to the home) is located on the front deck or by the back door at the rear of house. Just 10 minutes to Fontana Lake, 20 minutes from "Tail of the Dragon", 20 minutes from whitewater and zip lines. Short drive to Cherokee and Bryson City for Casino, rail, and other attractions. Proximity allows for short day trips to Cades Cove, Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge and Smoky Mountain National Park! Cherohala Skyway 25 minutes from Cabin, Nantahala Gorge, Maggie Valley and much more to see. Book early to ensure a great time in our Smoky Mountains.

Perfect

This cabin has it all. It has beautiful views, a cozy charming atmosphere, super clean and the most well equipped cabin we have ever had the pleasure of staying at. The owner, Michael, was immediately responsive and a joy. We would most definitely stay again if a vacation finds us in this area another time. Don't look any further and book a charming stay here.

Serenity in the Mountains

The check in process is easy to do. Michael is a perfect host. Communication is excellent. Cabin was clean and had all amenities you need. Love the decor of the property and the barn is awesome for family fun. Walking around the property is pleasant and easy to get around. Shopping in Bryson City is not far away and is an awesome small town. It is a nice scenic drive to get there. Hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains was fun and through Bryson City. We had our 16 year old 7# Chihuahua we brought on the trip that had plenty of room to roam around. I would recommend anyone looking to get away from the hustle and bustle to stay here. It was a wonderful experience and would stay there again in the future.

Best one so far

I try to make it out to Western NC every year and have been pretty happy with all of the places I've stayed, but this is the first one that I told my wife, we need to make it a point to stay at again. Fantastic property and house. Owner was easy to speak with when I needed him. This place feels like home, whereas most other properties feel like vacation houses. Maybe it's the decor or the quiet location, but it really feels like someone let you stay at their actual house and not one that is made up for strangers to crash in every week, haha. Excellent covered parking for motos, nice cars, etc...Lots to do on the property itself, but so close to what makes that part of the state so exciting. Highly recommend checking out the fun stuff to do down on the Nantahala and also make a trip to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Fantastic location and house. Highly recommend it!!!

Motorcycle trip.

This property fit are needs perfectly. The home was well equipped, clean, and had a great layout for relaxing. After a long day of riding, the 12ft wide deck was a great place it unwind. This home was located close the the Tail of the Dragon. We also went to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge for an afternoon. The party barn was great for parking our bikes and the enormous well sloped driveway made parking a breeze.

Perfect Getaway

We were attending a family reunion and definitely impressed with this beautiful property! The pictures on line or gorgeous but seeing it in person was absolutely breathtaking. In this cabin had everything you needed whether it was for cooking extra showers, just whatever. The tiniest little details were all taken care of. I extremely highly recommend staying here. The directions were perfect very easy to find so you would definitely not be disappointed. Thank you so much we really enjoyed staying here

Annual motorcycle trip.

This is the sixth year we’ve stayed at Dane’s place. We love the location of this cabin, with the big decks and pavilion addition to the barn. We’ll be back year after year!

50th Anniversary

Our stay was amazing. Rented for our parents 50th wedding anniversary. They were estatic and overwhelmed by beauty of the cabin. Spent the week motorcycle riding,this was a nice central hub to hit a lot of the rides we wanted to do. Thank you very much for sharing your home with us.

The perfect peaceful (motorcycle) getaway

The property is clean, spacious and located near enough to the twisty roads and small towns to provide what you need to relax and enjoy. For motorcycles, the driveway is gravel, but they’re large pieces so bikes don’t sink but just move across—no issues. We brought a BMW K1600B bagger and a KTM 1290 Adventure S and it wasn’t a problem.

Great secluded cabin

We recently stayed at the cabin for a yearly event in the area. It was exactly as described in the listing and then some! We enjoyed our evenings on the covered porch listening to the sounds of nature. We did have some bad weather one day but not to worry the back up generator at the property kicked in immediately and we didn’t skip a beat in the cabin. We come down yearly for an automotive event in Fontana and there is lots of room to turn around a car trailer and even covered parking! The road to get to the cabin is a narrow dirt road that’s only about 1 mile off of Rt28. The only little hiccup we had was when we were leaving, we were asked to take our garbage with us upon leaving the cabin and bring it to a local trash/recycle center. Being that it was a Sunday morning the center was not open so we got stuck with trash in our vehicle until we found a place to get rid of it. Other than that everything was great!

Stellar as usual

The property is pure mountain bliss. We had room for our car trailer and the barn is perfect for hanging out and wrenching. The cabin is a warm comfy home away from home with every thing you could possibly need available. This was our second time staying here, and we're excited to return!!

Beautiful cabin

We often visit the area and we usually use vrbo. This cabin is one of the best we have stayed. Just absolutely beautiful. By far one of the best places and experiences yet. Thanks for letting us stay.

Very cozy Cabin

My family and I stayed here a few days. The property is very welcoming and has a lot of cool features. I brought my Porsche for the Rennsport rally and it made it up the gravel driveway without any issues. The barn was very cool. Thanks!

Wow! This home is great!

We really enjoyed our stay here. I have tried to think of anything that was not right on par, and the only thing I can think of that might matter to someone else was the distance to town. It isn't far, but it is still about a 30-minute drive due to the many curves and current road construction. However, this didn't bother us since we wanted privacy and seclusion. Just know in advance and enjoy the awesome views, especially around Stecoah Gap. The home was beautiful, immaculate, and very comfortable. While we did not cook much, if we had wanted to, every possibly needed kitchen tool was available. Yes, we would definitely stay here again!

Great accommodations, highly recommend!

Very nice, comfortable and clean cabin with plenty of indoor and outdoor space. Perfect location for enjoying the twisty roads in NC. Loved the large patio. Great fire pit as well. This cabin had everything we needed and then some. We would stay at this cabin again when we return to the area. Host was very responsive to all our questions before we arrived and during our stay. I received responses to all questions within minutes of asking. Highly recommend!

Perfect spot for a motorcycling vacation

House was great, loved it's rustic nature. Very well appointed, had everything we needed. Very much appreciated the large parking area and barn for keeping the truck/trailer/bikes out of the weather. Would definitely stay there again. We could spend a month in the area riding all of the awesome roads and never ride the same one twice.
