The location of our Mountain Memories cabin is incredible & in close proximity to
all the activities the Smoky Mountains has to offer.
A spacious, 2-bedroom, 2-bath cabin situated directly between Pigeon Forge
& Townsend, in beautiful and peaceful Wears Valley.
Make your Great Smoky Mountain getaway at Mountain Memories when you stay in
this cozy cabin.
The open concept spacious main floor has a fully equipped kitchen that overlooks
the dining and family rooms, with a 2-seat breakfast bar, a 6-seat, dining room
table, and a highchair for the little one.
The cozy family room has a flat screen TV w/DVD, stereo and free WIFI, and
blankets to snuggle up on the couch by the fireplace as well as a foosball table for
fun times.
There is a roomy Queen master suite down the hall from the kitchen, with a flat
screen TV, and bathroom with shower, whirlpool tub and stacked washer and
dryer.
Upstairs features a small loft game area with board games and card games for your
enjoyment!
Another roomy queen master suite with a flat screen TV, a private bathroom with
tub/shower combo and a private Romeo deck off the bedroom.

Outside, enjoy the large yard, great for the kids to play games and explore while you cook for the family on the gas grill or the charcoal grill. The large wrap around porch has a relaxing Hot Tub, Ping Pong Table and plenty of seating to enjoy your morning coffee in the peaceful Smoky Mountains.

In the summer, our guests enjoy free access to a seasonal community pool at Honeysuckle Meadows (open May to October) and the catch and release pond (no license required), which are located just off Wears Valley Rd and Happy Hollow Rd, approximately 4 miles from Mountain Memories cabin.

You’ll enjoy easy access to the cabin, no mountain roads, all paved, with plenty of room for parking cars and trailers. The cabin also features city water, new HVAC, and new water heater. You will also find several restaurants and grocery stores close to the cabin so you don't have to go far when you have had a busy day.

Thanksgiving Getaway to the Smokies

Love the cabin. My wife and I and one of our cousins stayed and there was plenty of room for everyone. We fried up some turkey breasts for Thanksgiving Day and had a low county boil for the weekend ballgames. The cabin is in a great location. Just far enough out of the hustle and bustle in a quiet neighborhood but close enough to get where you want to go in a short time. I highly recommend staying there. The owners were great and very easy to deal with.

Great Stay

We loved our stay at this cabin. It was perfect for our family. Very clean and short drive to Pigeon Forge. Fast internet, comfortable beds, and hot shower. Our kids loved the hot tub and foosball table. Great flat yard for the kids to run around and play. Our host was so kind and really enjoyed meeting her and reading about her life story. We will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Property

This was a very nice property with easy access. It was close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Very quiet neighborhood.I would highly recommend it.

WOMEN OF JOY WEEKEND

My daughter and I stayed in this property with my friend and her two daughters. The property was nice! It was so quaint, the perfect, size, and fully equipped with everything we needed. The facility was very clean, as well. The wrap around porch was absolutely perfection! The house was also supplied with books, puzzles, games, fuzzy blankets, etc. It is located a little farther out of town, but this was perfect for us. We enjoyed the peace and quiet the beautiful little area provided.

Great location

Quiet, peaceful location close to all the activities but far enough away from the busy roads to enjoy quiet mountain views. My kids enjoyed playing foosball and ping pong and hanging out in the hot tub. Everything was super clean and we had everything we needed. The beds were a bit uncomfortable, but overall a great stay.

Clean & cozy

We loved the location. Wears valley is a cute little rush outside pigeon forge with the most beautiful views. This house was in the perfect location for us just outside of all the hustle and bustle. The cabin was very clean. We loved to sit in the back yard and roast marshmallows for s’mores around the camp fire in the afternoon and watch the sunset. The owners greeted us when we arrived and were so kind, we loved to read their romance story in the rule book it was so sweet. My kids loved the cabin so much they couldn’t wait to get back to it each afternoon. They were sad to leave it.

Great Cabin!

We loved staying at this cabin! It fit our needs well. The only thing I would say is I was not a fan of the meet and greet. I understand she likes to meet her guests, but we felt forced to. She did not give us the correct code to get into the property until we did meet her. It was awkward and we’ve never had an owner meet us at a property before. We drove a very long way and wanted to get into the cabin and decompress. Just wanted to give everyone a fair warning that you may be forced to meet the owners to get the correct code.

"Mountain Memories" were made

What a great place to stay!!! The cabin offered all the amenities that you will need to feel like you're home! My husband, my two sons (ages 10 and 13, and I stayed here for a week during a baseball tournament at Ripken. The cabin offered things to keep my boys occupied( ping pong, foosball, cornhole, etc) and my husband and me were able to relax! The views from the porch swing, my favorite part, were simply breathtaking!!! If we were ever to return to these parts of Tennessee, we would 100% look into Mountain Memories! Thank you Linda❤️

Mountain Memories

This is an absolutely beautiful cabin inside and out. Nice and clean inside with everything you need for your stay. The area is nice and quiet my daughter and I would set out on the front deck and drink coffee each morning and listen to the birds. Very relaxing after a day in Pigeon Forge, traffic, tours and visit to Dollywood. We had a wonderful time, would love to stay again at the property on our next trip to Tennessee. Thank you Linda for letting us stay at your home we have a lot of wonderful mountain memories to take home and share with family and friends. Thank you, Patsy and Casey

Spring break

Our son didn’t want to take the typical spring break trip (beach/ocean) so we opted for Pigeon Forge. What a great time we had! The house was amazing and perfect in every way! The hot tub was a huge hit and was used every night during our stay. The owners of the property are top notch! They were quick to respond to any questions we had, they even allowed us to check in earlier, as we arrived in town quicker than expected. Definitely enjoyed our time here and would like to come back again

Christmas Vacation

The neighborhood was nice and quiet and we enjoyed seeing the Christmas lights and decorations on some of the houses. We were disappointed that the electric fireplace didn't work (the timer worked but the fireplace didn't do anything) and we were hoping that there would have been some type of Christmas decor. The hot tub was very nice. We enjoyed the cheesecake that Mrs. Poyner left for us. The cabin was well stocked and clean but at night there were bugs all over the kitchen sink and stove area. We kept everything washed and left no food out so that was very shocking and a huge disappointment.

Roaches!

Roaches were apparent shortly after check in. some house keeping needed attention. the pull out sofa that my son was supposed to sleep on had dirty sheets on it that were peed on and full of cookie crumbs. when I informed the host I was told to "go ahead and check out" and she would refund me. obviously we had no where else to go and had planned this Christmas vacation months in advance! at no time did anyone come out to clean the sofa bed and supply new sheets! If you shower in the upstairs it'll leak through the downstairs bathroom ceiling. In my communication with the host her response to me was as if I was lying about the roaches and house keeping issues in order to receive a refund. At no time did I request a refund, although something would've been appreciated due to the lack of sleeping arrangements for my son. This cabin would be very nice if they kept up with an exterminator and had a better housekeeper and fixed the leak in the bathroom ceiling.

Your steaks will be cooked to perfection!
Then you can dine either on the table provided on the deck, or at the picnic table in the yard, next to the firepit. There you can build a fire , enjoy family time as well as gaze at those beautiful Tennessee stars. We have some of the most spectacular sunsets that anyone has ever seen.
We are located a short distance from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, so you can enjoy the hustle and bustle during the day and then return to a quiet evening at your cabin.
Oh did I mention there is a swimming pool free of charge just 4 miles away for your enjoyment nearby, come and go as many times during your stay as you wish, just give them the cabin name that you are staying in.
