Casa Feliz offers spacious and supremely comfortable accommodation for up to 6 people in complete and blissful privacy. A beautiful detached three bedroom property with an unbeatable combination of light, space, this villa, surrounded by a beautiful fragrant Mediterranean garden and just the most sensational lake views, offers guests the very best in home comforts within a peaceful and secluded setting, but still only a couple of minutes drive into Iznajar.

This property has been designed for the ultimate relaxation experience! Situated in a quiet and natural environment, with its own swimming pool overlooking the lake, it truly is breath taking.

Beyond the private pool, the hillsides slope away into the valley and toward the lake, with pastoral olive groves filling the distance in between.

There are many outdoor areas to enjoy, including the swimming pool with a further, separate, fabulous sunbathing terrace with stunning views, a dining veranda with a BBQ area and enclosed rear courtyard.

From the patio, doors open into the dining area with table and 6 chairs and a fully equipped open plan kitchen. The kitchen area leads into a utility room and the downstairs family shower/bathroom. Also on the ground floor is a spacious lounge with modern wood burner, TV, comfortable reclining sofas and doors to the downstairs double bedroom with doors leading once again onto the terrace.
Doors from the living area open onto a secluded courtyard at the rear of the property.
A marble staircase leads you to the first floor where an additional two bedrooms and bathrooms can be found.
The very spacious master bedroom, with balcony overlooking the lake and pool, has a super king size bed with ensuite.
The second, twin room, with en-suite WC and hand basin, also has a balcony with lake views.

Casa Feliz offers a perfect setting ideal for two, family reunions or that much needed time with friends. The property oozes a simple and relaxed style and is the perfect base for exploring the wonderful and varied region of Andalucia.
It is the best of all worlds; you are nestled in a secluded valley amidst the Malaga Mountains and its plentiful olive groves, just over an hour from the Moorish historical cities of Granada & Córdoba, under two hours from sensational Sevilla, and just fifty minutes from Malaga and the airport, as well as being just a short drive from the beaches, glitz and glam of the Costa deal Sol.

We have had the most wonderful stay. Our hosts were very attentive and the villa is absolutely stunning and incredibly well equipped. It was a fantastic stay. The pool is brilliant as are all the terraces and balconies.Would highly recommend.

Perfect place to relax and short distances to must sees

Perfect place to stay. Nice pool, great garden, clean house. Giuiia and Steve are very friendly and helpful. Cordoba, Granada within an hour drive, Sevilla also possible. A variety of restaurants in thr neighbourhood.

Idyllic peaceful location

Surrounded by endless olive groves and views of the lake, peaceful and idyllic. Casa Feliz is the perfect getaway for its peaceful surroundings. Our children loved the pool and the views were memorable. We wish we could've stayed longer to relax and unwind fully. Perfect hosts too!

Beautiful location

Lovely property in a beautiful location. The hosts could not have been more friendly and helpful. Whilst it was very warm, there were plenty of shady spots to relax in and the hosts provided fans for the bedrooms which made the nights bearable. Would highly recommend.

A good location for exploring southern Spain . The villa is very well equipped with stunning mountain and lake views. Our hosts were very thoughtful and helpful with lots of information provided about places to go and things to do .

Fabulous place to get away from it all, highly recommended, can't wait to go back

Wonderful holiday, thanks so much, great place for the kids to enjoy the pool and stay safe while we chilled out and enjoyed the peace and quiet and views of the olive groves on the hills. Villa has everything you need for a comfortable stay and lots of shade for when it's hot. Swimming on the nearby reservoir beach was lovely as well. Thank you!

Wonderful

The reality is better than the pictures of Casa Feliz-the house is spotlessly clean and well equipped. The beds are so comfortable. The garden is beautiful and the pool loved by all of us. We would recommend and hope to return 😊

Well equipped property

Exceptionally well equipped property with a myriad of outdoor seating areas with a lovely view. Some excellent eateries within a short drive most notable being Bar Verde in Izanajar where we had an excellent meal and the bar owner was also exceptionally helpful. Great location if also wanting to visit Cordoba and Grenada.

Great villa for relaxing and exploring Andalucia

The villa is perfectly located for exploring Andalucia an hours drive from Malaga Airport. The villa is well equipped, rooms are large and spacey. The pictures in the presentation represents well tha actual villa. We basically lived on the patio next to the refreshing pool though. Great stay and we will for sure come back again. A shout-out to Giulia, she´s great too.

Outstanding

We extremely enjoyed our stay at Casa Feliz. The villa has two terraces with stunning views of mountains and lake plus two eating areas at the front and the back. The swimming pool was awesome. Additionally, the villa has all what you need for your stay with friends and/or family. Its location is ideal, only 2 hours from Seville and 1 hour from Cordoba and Granada/Alhambra makes it the center of Andalusia. Giulia was of a great help and provided exact directions to the villa and nearby shopping places. We would definitely recommend Casa Feliz.

Stunning location.

We had an amazing 3 weeks at Casa Feliz. The location couldn’t be better with stunning views of the mountains and lake. Iznajar is a pretty village, with plenty of places to eat locally. I would definitely recommend the Hotel Paloma, we ate there to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary, and had a fantastic meal. We had one week of extreme heat, so really appreciated the beautiful pool. Giulia and Steve were very helpful, and Giulia even met us on arrival at 2am! If you are looking for somewhere to recharge your batteries in a beautiful location, this is the place for you. Thank you both for a wonderful holiday, we hope to return in the future.

Fantastic Retreat!

We stayed at Casa Feliz for four nights on our trip to Spain as we explored Malaga, Granada, Antequera and Ronda. It was wonderful! It was so quiet, peaceful and relaxing surrounded by beautiful olive groves as far as you can see. It's centrally located which makes it easy to explore all the great places. Iznajar is a quaint little town on a hill (be careful driving up there though, we almost got stuck on the little roads!) Giulia was a wonderful host providing a great welcome gift basket and personally gave us lots of tips on where to eat and what to see including a local community flamenco show just a few minutes away! If we ever return to Southern Spain we would definitely stay there again! Thank you Giulia!!

5* Absolutely fantastic

We have just returned from 2 weeks at Casa Feliz, and can’t say enough great things about it. The photos just do not do justice to how fantastic the villa and grounds are. Plenty of space for the entire family and the pool was a very welcome retreat from the hot summer sun! Giulia was extremely helpful, without being intrusive, and had plenty of recommendations on what to fill our time with. We would definitely recommend Seville, Iznajar, Granada, Ronda, EL Torcal and Nerja. Lastly, if you get the opportunity to hop on Jim’s boat we recommend it completely. Just look for Andalusian Lakertours on Facebook, for a great trip around the lake of Iznajar.

Beautiful, comfortable villa in the middle of the countryside

Waking up to birds instead of cars and airplanes. Crystal clear air with fluffy white clouds in impossibly-blue skies. Olive groves covering the rolling hills as far as you can see. This is what you get at Casa Feliz.. along with Guilia and Steve as the best hosts ever. Guilia helping with last minute Alhambra tickets, helpful directions and tips for getting around in tiny Iznajar. Steve ready to help out when the power goes out (it's the country after all). If you need to get away from it all and recharge your batteries, it is hard to imagine a better place to go than Casa Feliz or better hosts to have than Guilia and Steve

Very good commuication with the nice host. Easy check-in. Very nice place with an amazing view. Nice pool and many deck chairs and places to be outside. The host has also made it very cosy in the evening/night with lights surronding the house. When we where there it was really really hot (a chance you will take when you travel in july and you will have a heat-wave ;)) It would have been really really nice if there had been air-con in the house just to use on the very very hot days. There are fans in the house and it helps off course to make sure you keep the doors closed during the day :)Also a recommendation to the host when we had a small issue during our stay, which they handled and took care of right away. Overall a very nice house and stay.

A perfect place to spend a week or two in Andalusia.

5th - 11th Sept 2018. A lovely property with a splendid view. It was peaceful, yet not isolated with Iznájar a short drive away. Rute is worth a walkabout, and Antequera is definitely worth a visit although avoid Mondays as quite a lot closed. Perfectly situated for Cordoba, Granada and Malaga - all around an hour away by car. Giulia is very welcoming with lots of local knowledge. She was there if you needed her, but otherwise very discrete. The directions she supplied to various places were perfect and made our visits much easier. There were pleasant surprises both on our arrival, and our departure which was a lovely touch - thank you Giulia :-) The house itself was very clean, comfortable, good taste and had everything we needed. Overall Casa Feliz deserves its name and is a perfect place to spend a week or two in Andalusia.

Wonderful in every way

Our recent stay in Casa Feliz was absolutely amazing, my partner and my parents stayed for 5 days mid May and I really cannot faulty the place ( I am fussy) Giulia is so friendly and there was a generous welcome gift when we arrived as well as a gift when we left. The bedrooms are lovely especially the master (huge bed) the lounge is very comfortable too. The views in every direction are spectacular and the garden area is so pretty, well tended as you see in the photos. There is plenty to do in this stunning area and some well stocked supermarkets with clear instructions on your arrival. I have told a few friends about Casa Feliz although part of me wanted to keep it a secret in case it books up to quick :) we can't wait to go back. Giulia and Steve you can really see the love you have put into Casa Feliz, it's a credit to you !

Simply the best!

The villa's setting is idyllic. The views are amazing and the peace and quiet are every town dwellers dream! The villa is equipped with all that a person could need for their stay, including a booklet providing details of local restaurants, places to visit, how to use the villa's appliances etc. Everything you could possibly need! Giulia met us on arrival to show us around and answer any questions we might have. She also assured us that we could contact her at any time if we needed anything, as she lived next door. This was really comforting to know, as the villa is quite remote (ergo the peace and quiet) and we were holidaying with our 13 month old granddaughter. That said, there was no intrusion on our stay in Giulia and Steve's beautiful property. We had a wonderful holiday and would thoroughly recommend a stay at Casa Feliz.

A Delightful Property

The property is truly in a stunning setting with the photographs accurately reflecting this. It is really well equipped and ten out of ten for being clean. It is good that there is a choice of outside sitting areas to suit the time of day at the very peaceful location. The arrival greeting was friendly and enough information given without being overbearing. We particularly liked the clear hand written directions to major tourist sites including the information given by email of how to find the property. Unlike some previous rental properties that we have experienced this was very easy and clear. The local castle is well worth visiting. For a very small fee someone from the tourist office opened up the building for us and after a short video they remained to open different doors until we were ready to leave. For those wanting to visit Cordoba and Granada the journey by car is very straight forward on excellent roads. We had a delightful stay at Casa Feliz with absolutely no problems.

Fabulous

Casa Feliz is a wonderful place to spend a chilled out, away from it all holiday! We're a group of 60 somethings who holiday regularly together and are just back from a week spent in this lovely house. The views are magnificent, the tranquility unimagined. The pool a welcome respite from the hot Andulucian sun! Just an hours drive from Malaga airport , the villa is ideally placed for discovering this part of Spain. Both Cordoba and Granada easy to get to from Casa Feliz. Iznajar is a typical hill top town, very pretty and just a 5 minute drive away. Giulia was on hand when we arrived , to welcome us( with a basket of goodies) and answer any questions we may have had. Also plenty of information about the area, supermarkets , places to visit etc. There was also lots of info. in the villa about trips we may have wanted to do. An excellent time was had by all, thank you Giulia and Steve, for letting us stay in your lovely villa, we enjoyed every minute and it was good to know that you were nearby to help with anything if needed. Good luck for your future ventures.

Amazing villa, views to die for and a delightful owner

We have stayed at many villas in Andalucia over the years, and this was by far the easiest one to get to from Malaga airport. The roads are really good right up to the turn off. The directions we were given were perfect, together with directions to Archidona to get supplies on the way. On arrival we were warmly greeted by Giulia, shown around and given all the advice and knowledge of the area we needed to get started on our fabulous holiday. The villa was spotlessly clean with top quality bedding and towels, with a lot of thought going into the decor. All the bedrooms are good sizes. One huge double/kingsize bedroom with loads of storage and an en-suite bathroom with shower over the bath, toilet and wash basin. Again plenty of space to put things in the sink unit. The next bedroom upstairs is twin/double with en-suite toilet and sink unit. Both these rooms have lovely balocnies with beautiful views. The downstairs bedroom again a double/twin has doors opening onto the stunning courtyard and pool area. There is a another bathroom with shower, toilet and sink unit downstairs for use with this room. Outside there are various patio areas like small rooms in amongst lovely planting with views over the beautiful lake and thousands of olive trees on the slopes of the surrounding hills. Iznajar itself is stunning with excellent bars and tapas, and we were lucky to be there for the Festival of the Virgin which was a sight to behold. Rute is close by and like Archidona has supermarket and shops and bars. Granada and Cordoba are around one hour fifteen minutes away. with Seville around two hours away and visiting some or all of these is a must. We would struggle to find a more perfect spot so if we visit this area again we wouldn't hesitate to re-book Casa Feliz.

Hemos pasado una semana fantástica en Casa Feliz. El alojamiento cumple fielmente lo publicitado. Giulia, la dueña, un encanto y siempre servicial. El alojamiento es un chalet precioso con unas vistas maravillosas. Está alejado del pueblo, lo que le da una tranquilidad especial.

Originally from London and Rome, we decided to make Andalucia our home after the need for a more relaxed pace of life, so we packed up everything and decided to buy this little bit of Paradise.
Experienced travellers, of all the great cities and countries we have visited, we knew this corner of Andalucia was perfect for us.
Steve in particular, has travelled the world on his motorbike. And I, Giulia, grew up between London & Rome.

After years of searching high and low across the entirety of Andalucia, we stumbled across Iznajar and the amazing turquoise lake waters and were immediately spellbound by the beauty of the area, the excellent accessability to Granada, Córdoba, Malaga and Sevilla and the friendliness of the people. They say Andalucians are the friendliest of Spaniards... But then there are those from Iznajar.
The house itself is set in a secluded, but not at all remote position, with jaw dropping views... That is what did it for us: the views and the stillness of the lake's mesmerising waters during the day and the twinkling of the stars at night.
