THE NEIGHBORHOOD
On Basel square and Even Gvirol street you can find an abundance of cafés, restaurants, bars, juice and ice cream shops, super-markets, organic grocery stores, hummus, falafel, shawarma places - you name it - that allows for the most diversified Tel Aviv experience.
The park Hayarkon extends over several kilometers and encompasses tennis courts, a mini-zoo, children playgrounds and a great number of activities on the Yarkon river.
GETTING AROUND
You can do everything on foot or rent a city bicycle from a nearby station. There are countless buses departing from the nearby Carmelit terminal which will take you about anywhere in Tel Aviv and around. The Arlozorov light rail station is within walking distance and will take you to the south of the city in a matter of minutes.
If you plan on using buses or trains, you'll need to purchase a RavKav card (available at the airport or in the train stations) and load some money on it using the RavKav app on your phone.
Lastly we recommend using the app Gett to order taxis when needed.
