Great property, great location

Lovely cosy property, really clean, beautiful kitchen with everything you need and right in the centre with excellent parking will def stay again Excellent communication from host

Lovely place to stay.

Yet another wonderful holiday in the best apartment in this complex. Everything we needed was there, and blessed with great weather a bonus!. Thanks to Lesley and Chris for the smooth and simple booking process as usual. Can't wait to visit again, thank you.

Fabulous apartment

Stayed for a 3 day break the apartment was fabulous with great view of Ambleside would definitely stay again

Short Break

Its our second visit this year we were here for Easter. The apartment is fab clean warm comfortable with fantastic views over Ambleside. Getting around is easy with a very good bus service if you are planning a visit to Ambleside this is the place to stay. Cant wait to return.

Super location and property

Top notch place to stay if you want a luxury apartment with a parking space that means you don’t have to drive once you’ve arrived. Right in town but with views. Best of all worlds.

Lovely Christmas getaway

This apartment has stunning views over Ambleside. It proved an excellent base to explore the Lakes being so close to shops and transport links. The kitchen is well equipped and the lounge area very comfortable. We had a fantastic break and the hosts could not do enough to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Recommended.

Underhill Ambleside

We had a wonderful stay in this property. The apartment was in a super location, with lovely views over the town. It was spacious, immaculately clean and very well equipped! We were also impressed by the very tasteful decor and attention to detail with furnishings etc. We will definitely be booking again on our next visit to Ambleside!

Relaxing stay at Underhill

Underhill provided us with a perfect base for our latest visit to Ambleside. The apartment was comfortable, very well equipped and tastefully furnished. Views from the lounge area were stunning, both of the town and the wider environs. Close proximity to the town was a definite advantage too! It was our second visit to the flat….. we intend to book again when we next visit the area.

This property is exceptional in every way - beautifully and tastefully appointed and decorated, spotlessly clean, comprehensively equipped, spectacular view and obliging owner. I couldn't fault it in any way and hope to bee back.

Second stay, look forward to a third

Excellent location, great view of town and fells, near shops, restaurants, buses. Comfortable bed and seating, kitchen works. Very quiet. I had problems with Vrbo messaging communication, but this is not owner’s fault. This is a great place—my stay was two weeks, and not long enough.

Amazing apartment in the heart of Ambleside

Felt right at home as soon as we walked in very warm and welcoming. Beautiful well stocked kitchen comfy lounge with amazing views and fab balcony to watch the sun set whilst enjoying a glass of wine total relaxation Underfloor heating in bathroom with powerful shower soft fluffy white towels . There are books board games dvd etc with a great choice of walks and maps everything you need for a great stay The whole apartment has been done to high spec cant wait to return

A Stunning Property

A lovely property in an excellent location. It was spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you could possibly need. All the info needed about the property during our stay was clear and at hand. We found the maps and walks books extremely helpful. The property is also ideally placed for stunning walks, a few craft shops and eating places without having to use the car! We would definitely recommend a stay there and will hopefully be returning next year. Thank you Lesley Kind regards Zoe and Andy Zoe

Fantastic Week!

It’s not often you stay somewhere where you can find no faults with the accommodation, location, and weather, but this past week we managed to do just that. Yes, we were probably lucky with the weather being so exceptional but you take what you get right. The apartment is absolutely immaculate and the owners have left no stone unturned in making sure you have everything you need for a perfect vacation. It’s comfortable, spacious, has fantastic views over the town and the fells, and is located conveniently to reach so many areas of the county. We had an amazing week and will definitely be back again in the future. Thank you Lesley!

Perfect

We having been traveling throughout the UK for 6 months, staying at many places, and this apartment was one of our favorites! The apartment has an amazing view that never gets old, reserved parking, a great kitchen and lounge, and a great shower. The bed was one of the most comfortable we've slept in these many months. The balcony is a wonderful bonus. Ambleside is a very pleasant town to explore and call 'home'. It is also ideally situated. Keswick is too far north, Kendal too far south, and Windermere too frenetic. Ambleside is just right! Communication with the owner was great and we simply can't sing the praises of this apartment enough. We highly recommend it to anyone wishing to visit the Lake District.

Underhill stay

When looking at the pictures on the website the apartment looked very nice. When we got there, it looked even nicer. Such nice views from the living area and the balcony! Loved every minute of our stay, the apartment is so close to the shops, pubs and restaurants, which was very handy. The apartment was absolutely lovely. Had a bit of confusion with the parking and where we actually were when we got there, but gave lesley a call and was helped massively. Was so happy with the apartment and the area we were staying in. We will definitely be coming back. More bins are needed around the building because we could only find one big one. That's the only fault we could find, other than that, amazing. Definitely coming back for another holiday here.

Long weekend winter break

There may be a better venue to stay in this area, but there's no way I would waste another second of my life trying to find it as long as Underhill is available. It has everything you could possibly want inside the accommodation, together with a few things you didn't know you wanted until you'd stayed there. It's very much a home away from home, with a wonderful location right in the town but high enough up to feel like you are out of town whilst offering a superb panorama from the bedroom and lounge area. We really couldn't fault it. Like any property, it has a few of its own little idiosyncrasies, which you soon get used to and we were very sad to have to leave when it came time to. The only note of caution is that the road up to the property is steep in places, as is the short cut into town, so perhaps not suitable for anyone with mobility restrictions. Would highly recommend.

Fabulous

Amazing few days in Ambleside. The apartment was brilliant with everything you could possibly need Lots of small details thought of such as throws / candles / dvds to make it a relaxing, cosy winter stay. Location is right in Ambleside with private parking. A steep 2 minute walk to the village gives access to all the amenities. Would highly recommend this apartment.
