Great quiet location

Nice stretch of river to tube and fish in and didn’t see any other folks out there. Lots of wildlife and a nice front porch to relax on.

BEAUTIFUL Scenery

Scenery incredible, though waterfront roughly .25+/- walk from property. Rocky start w/AC malfunction 1st night, however property manager and owner took care of it quickly, allowing us to enjoy the rest of the birthday weekend for my husband.

This property was ok. It was not all it was wrote out to be. The river is a good walk and not great

This was not a good experience for us. It may be good for someone else, but not our cup of tea. Be careful not to get accused of something you did not do.

Joan is a considerate host with an incredible eye for detail

In short the place is amazing! What a great experience in a Hill country Ranch. The chickens were a lovely unexpected addition and her beautiful horse really added to the enjoymeny of our stay. The cabin is gorgeous and the beds are really comfortable

Enchanting spot

The cabin is sweet and I felt like I had thousands of acres of privacy. Really good communication with the hosts and management company. Just what I needed to destress and relax!

Perfect getaway location. Completely private and remote yet very close to town.

Ideal hill country setting. Owners have a manicured section of grass at the river that is PERFECT for hanging out at. Even though the river was low, we spent the whole day down there. It's serene, clean, safe and private. We will stay here again.

Peaceful and recharging!

I honestly can’t say enough wonderful things about this place! My husband and I came up for the week for our anniversary. This was the perfect location! You drive through beautiful landscape to get here, I just love the hills! The property is very easy to find. Once we drove through the gate, we were greeted by the cutest little blonde friend (cows.) The cabin is so cute, and the bed is amazingly comfy and the AC is amazingly cold! The kitchen is fully stocked, and even has a full set of cast iron cookware - which i of course loved! Now let’s talk about the river - Omigosh! It’s just a short little ride from the cabin down to the river. The owners have kept the area beautiful, and we had several picnics out on the grass. There are several entry points into the river from this spot. It is a perfect swimming area! The water feels amazing and is crystal clear! We spent most of the week floating in our tubes, I highly recommend bring some! We caught catfish, perch and a huge bass right there! Bring your fishing poles too! We have seen so many deer! HUGE groups of Axis and Whitetail! Lots of turkeys and even saw a little gray fox. Town is just a short ride, and we frequented OST for breakfast several times. It is so good and surprisingly cheap. TJ’s has great margaritas! Mi Pueblo is awesome for tacos and even homemade horchata! Lowe’s is very well stocked and we were able to find all the groceries we needed! It’s a great town! All-in-all, this trip was exactly what we needed! Life during COVID has been so chaotic. This was the perfect place for us to just find the peace we so desperately need at times, and to just recharge. I love this place and truly hope to come back! ❤️
