It’s was very nice house! Family friendly we had a wedding next door and it was easy to come and go!!

This was a great location that met our family's needs for our trip. Communication with the host was excellent. The wifi was a little spotty, but she worked to improve it during our stay.

Old hard wood floors and tile kitchen were perfect for pets. Beds were very comfortable and yard was very large!

This home was a pleasant surprise. Very roomy and comfortable. Zero problems during our stay and that’s a first! Will definitely be back for future visits to Lafayette. Thanks for the southern hospitality!

Great location

This is the second time we have stayed at this house. The location is perfect for us as we have family in the surrounding area. We love that we can host our local family at the house for eating meals together.

Great getaway

We enjoyed the time at the house. Nice country home close to everything we needed. Would recommended it to a family or couples looking for a retreat while visiting Lafayette.

Love this quaint home, very spacious and Miss Jodie was very accommodating to our needs

Our daughter got married at Le Barn Rouge two homes down from this home. It was so convenient for us to stay there for the weekend. I would highly recommend this home for your stay when in the Lafayette area.

Perfect space for a family gathering! Celebrated my daughter and niece's graduation at this house with a crawfish boil. So much space outside. It rained on us but we were able to make it work with the covered back patio and covered carport (which is shared with owner). Ms. Jodie the owner lives next door but we never felt like we didn't have privacy. She was very sweet and responsive. She didnt mind us using the shared carport as part of our party area. The country girl in me loved the 2 horses and donkey coming to the fence. Would stay again!

Spacious, clean and convenient.

My family and I spent 3 nights at this property. We found the property to be spacious, clean and convenient. The beds were comfortable which is a must. We were able to bring our 3 dogs who enjoyed the stay as much as we did. It was easy and quick to get to local spots like the University of Lafayette, restaurants and shopping. There are several beautiful churches nearby as well. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Girls Weekend

My best friends and I really enjoyed our weekend stay a you beautiful home. Enjoyed our morning coffee on the back porch. So relaxing watching the animals in the pasture . There are so many positive things to say about this place but unfortunately there was just one thing that kinda of threw us off. We didn’t realize the house had a shared carport with another house and didn’t realize there would be people there . Other than that we had an amazing weekend and plan on doing this again and hopefully will be able to rent your place again. Thank you for your hospitality. I hope we left it the way it was found .

heating unit was broken and it took a day to be fixed. chairs in dining room and kitchen very uncomfortable. no guest book explaining anything like how gas oven was working

Peaceful, warm and comfy

After being canceled on last minute by another host, I contacted Mrs. Jodie early the next morning and was replied to almost immediately. After giving her my situation, she had no problem accommodating the dates I had requested. The home she has is absolutely wonderful. It gave me that nostalgic feeling of my great grandparents house that I didn’t know I missed as much as I did until I stayed there. Aside from introducing myself, I never bumped into Mrs. Jodie. She made it very clear that if I needed anything, all I need to do was ask. And I honestly had everything I needed as the place was. Quiet, peaceful, warm and comfortable are the best ways to describe my experience there. Couldn’t have asked for more after getting married the weekend of. Would stay there 100x over.
